This house was given by the Soviet government to the inventor Korolev. The house was built specifically for Korolev as a sign of state recognition of his services. Korolev launched the first artificial Earth satellite and carried out the flight of the first cosmonaut into space. Korolev lived in this house for the last 7 years of his life. The museum preserves the belongings and interior of the Korolev family, as if Korolev and his wife were gone for a short time. Things from the middle of the last century have been preserved here and it looks like a museum of that time. However, there was a lot I didn't like. Firstly, the museum is surrounded by a fence and access to the house is only possible through a door that is locked with an electric lock. On the territory you will be met by a security guard who will demand a ticket and the conversation will be as if you were interrupting him. Secondly, the museum does not have an audio guide. The guide only serves ready-made groups. Group excursions are not available by session. This is a very big disadvantage; now in most museums you can form a group online. Walking through the rooms without an audio guide and without a guide is very boring and takes 10 minutes of time. People who were not interested in the history of the space program will not understand or be interested. Thirdly, you will not be able to walk through the rooms, since they are blocked off with a rope. You will only be able to look through the doors. This is just terrible, museums don’t do that. It is clear that the museum wants to preserve the exhibition, but the museum was created for this purpose, so that people could touch history, visit the place, and not stand next to it. I advise the museum management to turn to the experience of the Vasnetsov House Museum, many rooms there are open.

A very interesting museum. Unfortunately, few people know and, accordingly, there are no visitors

An amazing day has ended. We really spent it in another dimension. Such a sincere, reverent, poignant excursion has not happened for a long time. The house of the Chief Designer is filled with incredible warmth. And you understand the full scale of his personality through everyday objects, constantly screaming - Dad had this briefcase, tie, watch. And a floor lamp, like ours! And cobalt blue cups, and plates with gold stripes, and the Poet's Library in our closet is the same.... Thanks to this house - a miracle happened, we were returned to childhood

An interesting example of cottage-type architecture and interior decoration of the 60s of the USSR. For those interested in space, it is especially valuable to visit the home of the Chief Designer, from where it was convenient for him to travel to work. Interesting exhibits, documents, photographs. Everything seems simple and modest, but the historical significance of this place is great. After all, we can say that in many ways it was here that mankind’s first steps into space were invented.

Museum-house of Sergei Korolëv, the greatest Soviet engineer and rocket designer. The house remained intact after his death in 1966. Entrance costs 100 rubles and a personal English-speaking guide is also included in the price.

🏠-museum of Academician Korolev. Located next to VDNKh and the Museum of Cosmonautics. The gates to the territory are closed, but there are cameras - just walk up, stand and they will let you through! Entrance to the house is from the back through the basement. There are many photographs and exhibits inside. The interior is rich for those times - you feel like you are in the 50s of the last century! On the 2nd floor there is a library, many books, literally from atomic physics to books about the Moon. There is a map of the moon in front of the library entrance. I recommend visiting after the Cosmonautics Museum.

The house is an apartment, everything is the same as when the owners were alive. Rich environment. I was alone with my daughter. A woman accompanied us; she didn’t tell us, but she willingly answered questions. The house is warm, it is interesting to observe the life of those times. Toilet for museum guests on the street (keep this in mind, especially if you are with children)

Wonderful place! There are almost no visitors, although we visited there during the winter holidays, when admission was absolutely free. The visit is very informative; museum staff are always ready to answer any questions that visitors have. The only negative is the not very convenient approach to the building, but this is more than compensated for by a visit to the house-museum.

(Translated by Google) A stunning house-museum, it's great that everything was preserved, as it was during the life of the Queen, I recommend everyone to visit. The only commentary request to the museum management is to organize audio guides or at least short descriptions on a piece of paper for each room, what is important, what to look for in each room. It is strange that they haven’t done it yet.

An amazing house, hidden in a cozy park, to the left of VDNKh. They say that the atmosphere in a house can say a lot about its owner... So, in Korolev’s house it is surprisingly warm, cozy, sunny... Of course, all this is more interesting with the guide’s story. The furnishings of all the rooms are exactly as they were under the eminent owner, there are a lot of personal belongings, there is a video room. And of course, very responsive staff. Even the guard who greeted us at the gate and told us a lot about the garden, house, etc.😊

I didn’t even expect that I would get such pleasure from visiting the House of the Museum. The decor is from the 60s of the twentieth century, but everything is planned and furnished in such a way that you understand how loved and dear this house was to the Queen. And, of course, a wonderful story from the guide about the difficult fate of this talented Designer. The museum has a small hall where they show films about the life of S.P. Korolev. And the monument that stood for many years on the Alley of Cosmonauts was moved here.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful home of a great inventor. The decoration of that very era, nothing has been changed, the most authentic. It is a special pleasure to visit and see that place and how a great man lived. I liked it very much. (Original) Прекрасный дом великого изобретателя. Убранство той самой эпохи, ничего не изменено, максимально достоверно. Это особое удовольствие побывать и посмотреть на то место и как жил великий человек. Очень понравилось.

Because of such museum employees, we don’t have Elon Musks. Instead of organizing the museum in an interesting and intelligent way, they can only say: “Get out of here,” when at the entrance to the exhibition they stared at the photographs, and this dressing room turned out to be a “service room.” It would be better for museum employee Tatyana Vladimirovna to sit at the cash register in Pyaterochka rather than work in such a museum.
