We decided to go into this building, now there is a museum, but the guard and the cashier treated us rudely, we either talked loudly or laughed, although there was no one in the museum except us, and them. The conclusion is that they came at the wrong time and interfered with their flirting. And there’s nothing on display there, nothing to see, so I don’t recommend paying a hundred rubles for this type of museum. But the architecture is excellent. The bridge is no longer there, but the bridge tower remains, a beautiful historical building against the backdrop of a beautiful temple.

Built in 1671-1679. Originally it was part of a stone arch bridge over the Silver Pond. In the 1830s, after the founding of Nicholas I, the almshouse served as the belfry of the Intercession Cathedral.

It is part of the Izmailovo estate museum. A well-preserved historical and architectural monument.

This is a very beautiful and calm place, an “island” in common parlance, a wonderful place, both in summer and winter, in summer you can feed the ducks, sunbathe, in winter you can go sledding and play.

A beautiful view opens from the other side of the pond. There are many pigeons living near the tower.

It is currently under renovation, but usually there are excursions there. A beautiful place even for a simple walk.

In general, almost every day, every other day, while it was warm, I walked past this tower on foot from the Partizanskaya metro station. And then on a Sunday afternoon, after the rain, while walking with my son, I decided to go and see what kind of estate or town it is, as they call it)). It’s a shame, of course, that I, a Muscovite, having lived to be 40 years old, decided to look into the estate for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised, there are permanent exhibitions there, and there are visiting ones, the history of Russian costume, the history of lace, which was interesting for me to say. The fee is purely symbolic for ordinary people, but for the unprotected segment of the population, which includes large families, disabled people, students, and pensioners, the cost of tickets is simply ridiculous, 30 rubles. For some reason, single mothers were not included here, but when I asked about discounts for this layer, they even gave me a discount without proof of status. I rested from the soul, and emphasized some knowledge of our history of Rus'.
