Pogodinskaya Izba

Tourist attraction

👍👍 A very unusual sight, as if an object had been displaced in time and space. Away from the tourist routes of Khamovniki, on the almost always empty Pogodinskaya Street, which, combined with the current desolation, creates a very strong dramatic effect. Well, I’m a little sad at the end: it’s complete... People often mention beautiful, house, building,

A beautiful house built in 1856 according to the design of N.V. Nikitin in the traditions of Russian folk wooden architecture for the historian and collector M.P. Weather. In 1941, during the Great Patriotic War, the house was heavily damaged by a bomb that fell nearby. It was restored only in 1972.

A very unusual sight, as if an object had been displaced in time and space. Away from the tourist routes of Khamovniki, on the almost always empty Pogodinskaya Street, which, combined with the current desolation, creates a very strong dramatic effect. Well, I’m a little sad at the end: it’s completely unclear what’s stopping you from decorating it, or just painting it, this is a miracle, not to mention using the space at least for temporary periodic displays and exhibitions

Izba 1856. Once upon a time there was a museum of the Word of Igor's Campaign. And then the office of a construction company. There's nothing there now. I would like to believe that they will not neglect, demolish or rebuild. It would be great if they made a museum... The hut is in excellent condition. I've been driving past and admiring it for many years. Now we sometimes come with boards to see this miracle!

An old beautiful building on Pogodinskaya Street. Built in 1856. Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Ostrovsky, Sergei Aksakov, Mikhail Lermontov, Gogol visited it... I advise you to walk along this street and look at least once at the hut, a witness to antiquity.

(Translated by Google) The house is very beautiful, but its condition is very frightening. I don’t want to lose a rare wooden building in Moscow, and even with such a history (Original) Дом очень красивый, но его состояние очень пугает. Не хочется потерять редкое деревянное строение в Москве, так и еще с такой историей

There were many great writers there. It looks like an ordinary wooden house, but it survived the fire of 1812, of course it was rebuilt, but it is very similar to the original. I pass by it every day and admire it. In this building there were L. Tolstoy Nekrasov, etc. This is the best monument-house in Khamovniki. Of blue color. Dirty work next to the fence.

A very beautiful architectural monument! It's a shame it's in this state. Restoration is urgently needed.

It looks exactly like the picture I don't know why, but I visited the building because I heard it was related to Tolstoy. I was relieved to find out that there was no repayment right in front of the building. A cabin that looks like something out of a picture. Same as picture, it is not more than nor less

It's good, but it's out of place. It should go to a museum.

If you know the history of this place. Then this small building takes on significance. And it needs restoration and the return of the original decor. There is no need to come here. But if you pass by, it’s worth a look.

It’s a very beautiful hut, it’s just a pity that soon there won’t be anything left where you can go and see how they lived, they’re giving everything away for offices and selling it under the name “House for Negotiations.” But negotiations are a long process, you need a kitchen, a bath, two bedrooms. Yeah

(Translated by Google) Not only does it look anachronistic, it is also in poor condition, but at the same time it gives variety when walking around the city (Original) Мало того, что выглядит анахронизмом, так ещё и в плохом состоянии, но при этом даёт разнообразие, когда гуляешь по городу

(Translated by Google) Everything is in a dull state. The house is not being watched. Probably for show they wrote it down in the historical heritage of the city, and for financing a fig and butter. (Original) Все в унылом состоянии. За домом не следят это видно. Наверное для галочки записали его в историческое наследие города, а финансирования кукиш с маслом.
