A magnificent part of the ensemble of the Tsaritsyno estate museum! Everything here is at the highest level. All buildings and structures have been carefully restored, are used for their intended purpose and look great. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the Divine Liturgy in this church - it is too far from the place where I live. But the temple itself looks from a distance like a toy gingerbread house. It wouldn’t be a shame to spend an hour or an hour and a half behind the wheel just to walk around a great park for a couple of hours, visit museums and at least light candles in this wonderful temple.

A beautiful temple with a long history!!! So light and airy! The large 4-tier bell tower is visible from afar. Inside it is quiet, calm and very beautiful: painted vaults, a large iconostasis. There is a Sunday school at the Temple, there is a library, and theological discussions are held every week. And also, which was unexpected for me, the Temple provides support to prisoners. In the courtyard of the Temple there is a bench and a stall with pies and tea and coffee.

A beautiful functioning temple. Built in 1722 in the Elizabethan Baroque style by order of the politician and scientist, ruler of Moldavia (1710-1711) Prince Dmitry Cantemir. Soon the temple became a princely tomb - in 1771, Prince M.D. Cantemir, and later his wife A.Ya. Cantemir, were buried there. In 1775, for the construction of the Tsaritsyn Palace, Catherine II bought their estate from the Kantemirovs. Architect Vasily Bazhenov, when drawing up the design of the palace complex, preserved the church in the ensemble of buildings being erected. In 1939 the temple was closed. In 1990, the church was transferred to the use of the community of believers and re-consecrated. Restoration work was carried out and completed in 1998.

Like any ancient temple, the Temple of the Icon of the Mother of God is an architectural masterpiece and a landmark of the Tsaritsyno estate.

On the territory of the church there is a very cozy cafe with a good selection of cakes. After a walk in the park, you can warm up with hot tea or coffee and eat a bun or cake. The cafe also sells farm dairy products.

Церковь является частью прекрасного Царицинского парка, где есть прекрасные возможности для семейного отдыха, посещения храма, музея, спортивных игр с друзьями или родственниками.
