This is not worthed to be called 5* hotel. We arrived with full size luggages, FEW of the bell boys were standing with trolleys and turned away as they "don't see you" to continue chating, where in 5* hotels, first thing, you will be helped with your things getting out of taxi, my hands were full with flowers, any place will ofer you a vase just seeing you, but no, not here... Then, we wobbled to reception desk and greeted, because no one this far did it to us. The receptionist (from SSRS times, apperantly) instead of saying "hi, i'll be with you in the sec or something similar) raised hand with a gesture for disobediant dog to shut up. When she continued to check us in with an angry look why on earth we are here, we started to grasp more... This is so called "5*" hotel, let me remind you! With the jaws opened we continued to eat at the roof restaurant. We asked if "5 S-T-A-R " hotel have at least one option of vegetarian food in their menu. Of course, staff in XXI century and in "5* hotel", working in hospitality didn't have knowlege. Tired, we were about to leave, when waiter said he will ask chef beet soup for us. And then he broght it with bacon. Room was faulty, but at least they changed it (no upgrade). Please, people, save your nerves to be treated this way AND pay your money for this.

My favorite hotel! Location is the best! View from rooms are amazing! Beds are comfortable and rooms were very clean . All staff were very kind and helpful ! But the best is breakfast @ the second floor- Everything you wish too. Also beauful 2 restaurants on the 22 and 23 floors- view is downtown and ministry of foreign affairs- impressive! Definitely will stay in Golden Ring many more times...

Amazing place very clean, employees speak 🗣 English well and very polite. The dinner at night at the top floor has an amazing view make sure you reserve for dinner at 8pm. 5 star well deserved. Btw did I mentioned the view is amazing 🤩, don’t look any further this is the hotel to stay in Moscow 👍

Wonderful hotel, best one I've ever been at by far. Staff is very friendly and polite, and the rooms are spacious with great views. The hotel also has a great breakfast buffet and an outstanding restaurant. The restaurant also had two musicians stop by, and both performed really well. Would stop by again!

First time in Moscow but this hotel wasn’t my first choice, nevertheless I quite liked it , although rooms furniture needs to be modernised so it was super clean, the room service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had delicious variety of dishes, drinks , baking in addition to egg station. Furthermore live Harp music WOW . Front desk staff were helpful & friendly although the lack of English speaking. Exchange desk was available. Good location if you’re not interested in being close to the Red square. Enjoy. NK

Hotel is on a very good location, rooms are moderately good (but lack of AC sockets at comfortable positions, like by the bed), but locked minibar? What the hell was that? Also, the interior is way too shiny, at least for my taste.

Staff are excellent, especially Anna and Larisa at the concierge. Room was ok, although air con didn't work and there was a strange smell from the bathroom. But overall well recommended. It's about 1.5 miles to Red Square so an easy walk.

Great place to stay during your tourism/business trip. Very good location, easy access to various shops/restaurants located around. Good service, comfortable numbers. Good view from windows during night with all the city lights around. The towels in bathroom are quite harsh and not pleasant to use, they are hard as a rock. Air conditioner is not the top choice, so not a big variation of temperature you can choose from. Windows are locked without handles, so if you want to open & close one you have to call service every single time. Prices in restaurant area are expensive, but that's pretty much around all the places in the inner circle of Moscow, so can't complain. Place for tourists and stuff. So overall, I would recommend this place, but I really would suggest bringing your own towels with you. They. Are. That. Bad.

Great value for money in an excellent location. Not sure about the 5 star rating compared to other luxury hotels around Europe, but they have ethernet cable connection in each room. That alone did it for me.

Spend 3 nights at the hotel, got nothing but good service. The reception clerks where very professional and was good at English. Had a room at the 13th floor with a view over the river and the business center. Very good view, with fireworks in the weekends. Got a drink at the Panorama Restaurant which can be recommended.

We stayed at the golden ring from the 15th-18th of December 2021. I'm from Moscow so I am easily impressed but wanted to make sure that my British partner enjoyed his stay in Russia, and that the hotel made a great impression. We asked for an extra nice view and the hotel definitely delivered, we stayed on the 19th floor and it was BEAUTIFUL! Fantastic views, really kind staff (no offense but you rarely see happy and smiley Russian people), they were so helpful. The room was lovely as well, nice big bathtub, lots of bathroom goodies like soaps and shower caps and robes/slippers, etc. My little brother came to stay for one night and the housekeeping staff brought us a bed for the night and were so lovely and kind as well! The only thing I can comment on that was a tiny bit negative is the sewer smell in the bathroom but it wasn't that strong and everything else made up for it. We also went to the panoramic restaurant on the top floor where we had some Kir Royals and a violinist came to us to ask if we wanted to hear any melodies, we offered one which he knew right off the bat (fantastic). Overall, it was a fabulous experience, if there was an option for 6 stars I would have rated it at 6..Keep up the good work! We will come to stay again one day :)

There's a nice restaurant on the top floor, serving great meals and for a good price. The view from there is amazing and a couple of gentlemen are playing very nice music in there. The hotel is rather old so many things don't really work. It was quite cold in the room, even after we asked to turn the heating a bit up. The staff didn't behave especially friendly, nor helpful. The breakfast was super expensive. Also there's no encrypted WIFI, which was very disrupting for my business trip.

Nice hotel and service but not comfortable rooms

The staff is very helpful and there is always someone who speaks English at the reception. The open buffet breakfast is very good. There is a gym. But the hotel needs renovation.

Please renew your hotel. It has a great location. Restaurants and breakfast are very good. But the corridors smell so bad! I couldn't stand it anymore and left the hotel.

It's at least the 5th time I am staying in this hotel ,this time for over 1 month. In addition to excellent location,varied and delicious breakfasts,very welcoming omlette cooks, the choice of the staff in the hotel is exceptional. I would like to mention the cleaning ladies of my room 1507,Ravila and Tatiana,for their outstanding professional approach to the guest's needs and the very neat work, the waitress Ania in the Suzdal breakfast room,for her very pleasant, graceful and tactful,professional manner of service. The life arfa music and complimentary champagne definitely add a lot to the atmosphere at the breakfast !👏 If I were you,I would pay more attention to the guests ' requests on the reception and would be more generous to your constant guests, especially from the other countries. P.S.It is strange for me, that it was impossible to get in touch with the General Director of the hotel,even on the telephone🤔 Nevertheless, I would gladly recommend your hotel to all my friends and anyone who is planning to visit Moscow.
