I had heard a lot about this particular sushi restaurant, and I finally decided to pay it a visit. It turned out to be the best decision I made all summer! I've never had better sushi in my entire life. While I couldn't make up my mind about the rest of the menu, I highly recommend trying the "black emperor" signature roll with eel and shrimp. It's an unparalleled culinary experience. The duck bao buns are also a must-try – they are incredibly flavorful and unique. The restaurant itself boasts a fantastic atmosphere and modern decor, setting it apart from traditional Japanese-style restaurants. Moreover, the service was top-notch, and they catered to our every need. What's even better is that the prices are reasonable, and you definitely get your money's worth. This place has quickly become my favorite spot in Mykonos, and I wholeheartedly recommend a night out there!"

An astonishingly good sushi place that made us crave for more! We came here on our 1st night in Mykonos and it became our go-to for EVERY dinner. Genuinely phenomenal! Their menu is extensive that took us a couple of minutes to go through. We ordered different items every night in order to try as many as we could. Sushi was spectacular and special mention to the “Crunchy Tuna”. It was our must-have sushi roll every night. A little bit of heat from the chilli sauce mayo and the tuna was fresh. Every sushi roll on their signature section tasted different from the others and we were amazed. Mind-blown! For the hot plates, I ordered “Beef Udon Noodles” twice and it was my favourite comfort food in Mykonos as the wind was insanely strong during our stay. The texture of udon was bouncy and smooth. The sauce was delicious and flavourful. Beef was slightly dry but tasted good. One dish I’m not sure about is “Wagyu steak”. The steak was quite lean and dry. Not much Wagyu flavour and it was quite underwhelming. Overall, the service was excellent! Well worth visiting and looking forward to coming back! Massively recommended!

Normally I wouldn’t just hand out 5 stars but my experience at Tokyo Joe’s was outstanding. We loved the ambiance, decor and meticulous table setting. We indulged in a few appetizers. The Aji tuna ceviche was incredible. It included some cherry tomatoes and avocado along with a hint of spiciness. The duck bao was crispy and delicious. The ramen soup had this smokey sliced corn off the cobb that is memorable. We also ordered the scallops in a jalapeño dressing. It was so good we ordered a second one. Wish we could’ve tried everything. Our server George was helpful and fun. We will definitely go back there next time.

First encounter when you arrive on the parking lot is that you will eat in a very posh place where the sushi will be the best you ever had and need to pay for it as well (big time!). We did not make a reservation but could easily sit around 20:30. There was enough room. We paid 91 euro excluding tip for what I attached on the photo's so be warned :-) before going wild on the ordering part. Read the menu thoroughly because you have to be careful not to order the spices stuff. The service was good and quick but during payment the lady asked us if we wanted to give a tip. I was so annoyed by the question (also concerning the price for what we ordered) that I said "no". I always tip unless I'm asked for. I considered a 3-star rating but Tokyo Joe has the benefit of the doubt that taste can differ. So no discussion there. This is the reason why I give 4 stars. If this was a sushi place near my home I would not order twice but let's keep away from having different tastes discussion's. A lot of good ratings so try this place out for yourself and family and see for yourself.

Tokyo Joe is a very unique sushi experience. Their appetizers, salads, sushi, and small details really deserve high praise! I really like the walkway over the pond to enter the establishment. Although, I do feel if someone had a handicap (wheelchair, walker, crutches, etc.) then the entrance would be unnavigable. The interior is stylish and very chill. The menu is pretty large and the waitstaff is kind. Luckily when we went it was not very crowded, as the tables are very very close together. For dinner we each had a salad. I had the SASHIMI SALAD and my partner had the CRISPY DUCK SALAD WITH HOISIN ORANGE SAUCE. We both really loved our salads and they were definitely large enough to split. Perhaps offering a smaller portion would be a good idea though. After that we shared some unique sushi rolls. I wish I wrote it down somewhere, but I can't fully remember what we ordered. They were definitely unique, compared to more classic rolls or signature rolls elsewhere. We usually go for really fresh and traditional rolls vs ones with a lot of sauce or fried components. Yet, we went for primarily signature roles and we were happy with our selection. They were super rich, so possibly choosing 2 signature rolls, some nigiri, and sashimi would be a better choice for us personally next time. I like their whole menu and they offer something for everyone. I highly recommend.

The food was very well taken care of, clean products and fresh. We enjoyed our meal very much. However, I would like to make some comments. First of all, on the outer space the pool surrounding the tables is filthy. Full of dirt and leafs. Second, the gyozas had no taste, no salt at all and not very tasty I would say. Last, when we asked for the check the waiter brought it while we were eating our dessert and was waiting to get paid. It was uncomfortable. I would recommend you stop by to have a pleasant meal.

Modern interior with outdoor seating with a water stream. Had the zoodle salad with crab , cucumber crispy onion was very good as the aji tuna ceviche, was sharp yet still good. Cocktails: dirty martini was excellent, tiny Tokyo was too sweet! Mains of three sushi’s: Tokyo Joe tiger role: excellent but not as good as the New Yorker which was excellent ! The scallop ceviche roll was unfortunately disappointing- was blend. Service was attentive at the start but as it got busier it was more difficult getting the attention of Waitering. Excellent food- one of the best sushi I have had in a long time and ofcourse good value.

Favorite spot in Mykonos. The salmon teriyaki roll and mango chicken salad were so amazing and filling! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and incredible food. This is a must try during your stay :)
