Ohh the guy is not welcoming no smile, he looked at me for my blackness that's how l felt. Breakfast in the morning it's like he doesn't want to serve the customer

A great place to stay. Rooms are nice and big, good service friendly staff I have never had any bad experiences. I started using this place around 2010. It is the best place in the town for me.

Clean tidy very friendly and professional room service... good clean comfortable bedding and very very nice toilets and shower.

Great service and friendly staff. Cleans rooms. Very peaceful overall. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they don't have take away for breakfast, and on an odd occasion, depending on which room you're allocated, you might experience a visit from the dogs, and if you're not fond of dogs, IT will not be a pleasant experience.

Terrible beds..all sunken..room smelled like a drain..mop marks all over the floor...only two pillows ..not the usual 4..only one Bath towel given..management have another room..just as bad..only nice thing is the garden ..no way it can be a 4 Star rating

It was November 2021, and I still romanticize about my return to this Villa. It was a gated relaxation with posh sulbtlety. My room was a well-done comfort that opened to a beautifully curated garden. The common spaces allowed for both an intimate quiet and group retreats. The owners were kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. I'm just sad my visit later this year does not include travel back to Vryburg gem.

Villa used to be great, but the standard is slowly dropping

It’s definite no for me- I was put at the back of the property with no wi-fi or network connection I could not get to my work as planned. Will certainly not stay here again.

Villa Brocant has been our stop-off from PTA to Upington since 2018. We've stayed in a few different rooms here and I have to say that none of them have good signal. Yes, free wifi is advertised, but you're definitely going to struggle to use it. I've been mentioning this ever since and nothing has changed yet, so I don't think the owners are going to do much about it. I just think it's fair to inform visitors that the Wifi will most probably not work and that the signal is extremely poor here, so don't count on getting some work done, send or receive messages or make phone calls from a room. The generator and the fact that they're pet friendly definitely makes up for most of it:) Thanks so much for the stay.

Angela welcomed us so late but still had a smile on her face, the following morning at 06h30 she was busy serving breakfast with the same smile, all the staff so efficient and friendly. Beautifully Victorian style decorated rooms with a welcoming bath. Beautiful manicured gardens and water features.

Its clean and beautiful, there is privacy and a lovely garden. They dont offer dinner, just vouchers for nandos,spur & other selected restaurants.

If you are in Vryburg you need to stay here.. They offer excellent service and stay at great price. Delicious breakfast, safe parking and this was the first for me in Vryburg an offering of espressos machine in your room.. Well done Villa Brocant I will see you soon.. Jaco is doing great work.. I came at the wrong date. During the day. I understood it was an event and they needed to make their profits. But at night they put me next to some school kids that kept me up all night. I had a very long day ahead of me and i received zero sleep. I looked everywhere for the reception or emergency cellphone to ask about curfew time but she was also no where to be found. Very disappointed and angry.

Really comfortable and nice overnight place to stay. I can fully recommend this guest house. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable (family of 4 with grown up children)

Very good lodging experience! The service was excellent and the location is very easy to locate in a serene and secured environment.

Unfortunately the management and reception is horrible. You will stay in the dark even though there is a generator. There is horrible customer care and reception is awful. We got treated really poorly. Poor Wi-Fi, no shower caps, no soap bar and shampoo, lotion etc. Horrible horrible reception and management. You will not experience a hospitable stay. No hospitality but lovely accommodation. Villa Brocant is best described as a BITTERSWEET stay. Do not waste your time ordering breakfast either. Pretty useless. AUndoubtedly it was an exquisite place... Lovely features; a delightful property

After reading some of the reviews below I was rather skeptical about my booking, but very soon realized that all people have their own perceptions and opinions. The reception staff were most helpful and welcoming, the areas are kept tidy, neat and aesthetically pleasing. Dinner was not offered at this time, which was communicated way before hand, so nothing wrong with that. Thank you Peetie and your team. Excellent stay!
