👍👍 Haven't been for ten years. Can't remember first time I visited. Mid late 90's early 2000's??? Still a great breakfast, still friendly happy staff. Had the ham and eggs, three mugs of tea. Still Belly saying, "Hello", then off.on his bicycle. People often mention good, Belly, nice, Vung, staff, great, friendly,

Long established institution here at Vung Tau. The eatery is named after the larger than life character Belly who mingles with the crowds who throngs here. Hail fellow well met is the ambience here Belly's Watering Hole was established more than 15 years ago along the Front Beach & moved here to the Aussie enclave about 10 years ago. Do try the Big Breakfast at VND 150,000 a pop ( circa USD 7.00 ) . Egg Benedict would be another good suggestion. Roast Beef & other savoury fares are served during the weekends

Found out about this place at the last minute, wish we had found it sooner. Fab choice of food. Belly was very informative on suggestions if where to go in Vietnam. We took his advice and went to Phu Quoc, so glad we did. He arranged for transport to the airport. A must place to visit if you are craving food from home. 👍👍

Dropped in on a recommendation from a friend. We walked in the front. Every one starts yelling hello, hey mate 😃. The patrons picked us as Aussies straight away. We were greeted very warmly, served quickly and our Aussie burger and chips were great Belly (the owner) sat with us for awhile other patrons shouted us drinks. This is an Aussie/ kiwi veteran hangout. We were made to feel right at home Belly made phone calls to other veterans to organise a tour of the tunnels for us Definitely a must pop in for a drink type of place especially if you're Aussie or Kiwi

One of few places in Vung Tau with nice reviews, which I decided to visit. Huge menu, with lots of options. Not for 5stars, but best you can get around. Most of visitors are not from here, feeling of the expat bar.

Food is really delicious. I love food here. I don't like decoration much but it's good enough to enjoy a nice meal. I'll go back here soon.

Come here every time I visit Vung Tau. Extensive menu with Western dishes and good Vietnamese food too. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner that won't break the bank. Any dish that includes gravy is to die for. Relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. Lots of drinks including cheap beer.

Great value for money at this establishment. Love the All Blacks memorabilia 😄 I had a beer and we enjoyed our meals, even my picky 14yo teenager. This place is low key chill, defo recommend this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food is good, and nice feel to the place. Staff were a little slow at realising I wanted to add to my order (waited 10 minutes) but were very apologetic and gave me a free coke.

We always go for cold, cold beers and great food when visiting Vung Tau. A friendly, mainly expat, clientele just chilling or watching sports on the big TV. The food is really good with generous servings at reasonable prices. The grilled chicken with mushroom parmesan sauce excellent, as was the grilled bass with pepper sauce. A good red wine also reasonable prices.

We were at Belly for breakfast this morning. Our boy plays with toys that belong to Belly around the top of the pool table with light platic car. The table was covered for protection. A man and remove toys from the table with behavior that is not acceptable to a small boy. We will not be back to this again. It is regrettable that someone has such behavior and cannot speak in a more polite manner in font a little boy.

Stopped in for a couple beers and fries. One waitress was super nice and I joked with her. Her shift ended at 3pm and she left. The other 4 girls were ice cold. When I tried to use Google translate to get Bill they were dismissive and could not care less about customer service. I won't come back here.

Arrived just as they were closing, but the staff looked at my sad starving puppy dog eyes and let me order take away. (Really though I also had my puppy with me and they don’t allow dogs) They were super kind and let me order a piece of pie with ice cream. Just hit the spot. Thank you for rescuing me.

Belly serves his Kiwi mother's recipe for savoury mince on toast with two runny poached eggs on top. We just spent 4 nights in Vung Tau and we ate it 4 times. Once for brunch. Twice for lunch and once for dinner at night. Comfort food has that sort of magnetic attraction. Lol. No photos to show as we tucked into it the moment our plates hit the table. Lol.

Food is good, especially roast dinners, portions are big, filled up. Good service, separated bills if you are in good and want to. Service is fast. Price is surprisingly cheap.

😐 Taste was ok. But portions were too small for their prices. The sea snails themselves were small as well.
