👍 Took the family for a first time Indian meal, butter chicken, lamb korma, veg korma, papadoms, butter naan. Tasted was good, portions nice size, naan bread beat us and could only manage 1 of the 2 I ordered. Decor is ok, basic. Could have had bollywood playing on tv for a better atmosphere. Worth co... Best Indian food is in Vietnam. This was undoubtedly the very best Indian food I have ever tasted in my life. Service is so friendly , food is so fresh and just mouth watering . The Butter Chicken was to die for . If in Vung Tau , do not miss the opportunity for authentic real Indian food at great prices.

Having lived in India for over 10 years and eated Indian food all over the globe, I was SHOCKED to taste how good the food could be in a tiny town in Vietnam. This chef is really a genius and they should hold onto him as long as they can! Amazing curries, naan, service. Highly recommended.

Taj Grill was a let down, unfortunately. First, let me say that the food was tasty. I couldn't fault their samosas, naan or vindaloo. The place is really run down. I'm okay with a a restaurant having a bit of charm, but the bathroom wasn't okay and there was a pretty dingy towel hanging up there. Honestly, it even looked like someone was using it as their living space, too. My partner ordered a lemon juice that tasted really awful. Maybe it was a rotten lemon? I don't know. Our waiter was also the delivery man, so the person at another table couldn't actually get his bill as the cook and the local staff didn't know how to do. Also, the waiter didn't remember to give the order to the kitchen from a table of three, so the staff had to come and take their orders again while he was The food also took a pretty long time to arrive. It was almost an hour. Like I said, the food was tasty. It wasn't worth the hassle.

It’s not worth it! The stuff is so indifferent to clients ☹️ The size of the dish is too small, but the price is 150k - 180 k DNG! Only 3 small pieces of chicken and lamb! Garlic naan and cheese naan were awful! I wouldn’t recommend this place. Moreover, there were eyelashes in the naan ...🤮

We had a great meal. Food was delicious and served accurately. The waitress was polite and serves well. The place is cosy and comfortable for chats with friends.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The place looks to have been renovated and it's much brighter and cleaner looking for a business. The open door way is a nice touch to bring that Vietnam feel of street eating if you decide to sit at a table near the entrance. The waiter was so helpful when ordering. I wanted it get two main dishes and some naan, but I'm so glad I trusted the waiter. He recommended a spicy chili chicken appetizer and the palak paneer because it would be too much to eat... Honestly for one person that chicken chili app would be filling enough. The garlic naan waa huge, flavorful and crispy. I loved the wood fire taste of some of the crispy edges. The palak paneer was so creamy and smooth. It had a generous portion of cheese in it too. The mango lassi was ok. I will definitely come back because everything was so delicious.

The chicken biryani was no normal chicken leg, just little pieces that were warm and not hot which means it was re-heated. The Garlic Naan had 0 garlic on it, the yogurt for the Biryani was terrible, no flavor and way too watery. The rice was decent.

My obligatory CTM+N review... The chicken Tikka masala was indeed made with real chicken Tikka. The curry was a bit on the smooth side, i tend to dislike when a curry resembles a pizza sauce but I wasnt to that extent, just likely made from canned tomato rather than homemade. Only a light spice made it less than ideal. That said it was thick enough to fill and had a pleasant enough aftertaste. The naan was made thin, and slightly over cooked to a crispy cracker somewhat. This was a garlic naan made with a very strong tasting vietnamese butter it was off putting. As everything else made fresh so adequate but you didn't have much time to eat is as it hardened. A single serving of rice. A basic Jazmine rice.

Been to this place numerous time's. Only to be told we open at 5:30pm Not 5pm. Than told we open at 6pm come back than.? Forget lunchtime service. Closed. There ain't NO SERVICE.. RUDE AND ARROGANT INDIAN GUY SINGING OUT FROM THE BACK OF RESTAURANT. CLOSED. ! If you're unlucky enough to get to the Counter. You will get a direct view of a filthy kitchen. This place would be permanently CLOSED FROM A HEALTH PERSPECTIVE.

A very tasty and sumptuous lunch. It is a small place still worth to eat Indian food. Staff was quick to address our wishes and cooked accordingly. Choices for vegetarians is good what you see in pictures attached. Choice for non vegetarians dis not try but there are many since so many foreign visitors tried the Indian delicacies here. Very near to Pagoda on hill and also to up side down place.

Delicious Indian cuisine and surprisingly not expensive. We had tandoori chicken and mutton curry with 2 naans for under 400k. Chef visited the table, he is a very nice man. He offered to deliver the food to our hotel. This is not a very fancy place.

They don't have air conditioning. So it was a little sweaty but the food is good!

Had the chance to bring my in-laws here who never had Indian food before. Portion sizes are just fine, the food was authentic and everybody left feeling happy and satisfied. I'll gladly pay a bit more than average again to get this quality in return! Nothing was watered down and the seasoning was on point. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food and are in Vung Tau!

I don’t have any complaints surrounding the food. The naan was lovely, as was my curry dish (chk tikka). All the food was nice but I feel it was a little overpriced for what it was based on other meals I’ve had in the area. The let down of this place was the restaurant itself, it was not very clean appearing at all and I had concerns of cleanliness being less than adequate again considering other places I had eaten.

We were first here tonight, food very very very slow even then. Staff not just do not smile but do not seem to care. Papadums were oily, pickles out of jar. Samosa bland, no taste. Mains were pre made sauce at least. Definitely not home made or any fresh spices. Been on holiday 10 days and worst meal we have had. Travelling another 5 weeks and it will i am sure remain our worst experience. Not recommended in any manner.

😐 Taste was ok. But portions were too small for their prices. The sea snails themselves were small as well.
