Staying there for around 3 weeks for a business trip. The service is very good. All staff are well-trained and good service minded. The location is good just 10mins walk to the nearest beach. It is located in the middle of many local foods and store. However the hotel is quite old, need major renovation. At the moment (June 2016) the hotel extension is being constructed. It looks much bigger than the current one. Can't wait to come back here when it is done!!

Slept super well but the view behind the hotel is rubbish and had to close the blinds as you could see into other guest rooms. Some of the furniture is old and has that old smell... And all rooms are smoking even if you selected a non smoking room. Deluxe room has a second room and we did nothing in it because it just has some old chairs and a table

As soon as we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by a beautiful clean and quiet space. We were offered cold refreshing drinks as we checked in. The receptionist was friendly and spoke excellent English. When we opened the door to the Premier Room on the 6th floor, the room was perfect. Clean, bright, spacious, and with a beautiful view. The large bathtub looks inviting as does the swimming pool on the 3rd floor. Petro House is a great hotel!

Superb location in the heart of Vung Tau. Rooms were good and clean too. However, breakfast selections were extremely limited and check out process was a bit slow.

    1. Breakfast buffet only served in weekend, weekdays order a la carte. Not much choice for the buffet. Overall i give a one star for the breakfast. 2. Very short distance to the beaches, the Blanche Palace and the speed boat station to go to Saigon. Much easier than travel by bus, a bit more expensive but worth it.. 3. You can ask the bell boy to help you rent a motobike. There are 3 elevators but only 2 on the left will take you to your room, the one on the right is to go to the basement from the lobby. If you park the basement, you have to make sure you use the one on the right to go the lobby, then take one of to the other 2 to go up to your room. Not very convenient at first.

Stayed here for five nights. Staff was very friendly, helpful and english speaking was not an issue. Rooms are comfortable, pool is nice and gym was good. Buffet was good, just note that hotel will switch it to a menu when it is slower in the week (menu food is good). We rented a scooter from a nearby business and were in and out of the underground parking lot. One of our security guards name is Minh and he is very nice, helpful and his English is great! Thank you to all the staff!!

I found it in a hurry, but the renewed hotel is clean, the distance is good, and the breakfast is so good. Thank you for the good memories.

A very nice new hotel, big rooms with a nice little balcony with nice views over the trees in the street. The bathroom had a big nice hot powerful rain shower. I also had a good tasting breakfast. They also have a nice pool.

New rooms, clean and designed well with every amenity I would need. Sincere service for a new hotel and accessible to a lot of sights around and only a stones throw from the ferry. Theres a well equipped club next door stocked with the latest Aristrocrat slots. My in laws were very happy to say the least.

Very new hotel. Helpful staff. Open rooftop for view and take photos of the city. Beautiful open roof pool. Love it from the 1st day. Walking to many restaurants and shops.

Nice hotel and helpful staff, from the bellboy to the receptionist, esp the woman in the Basil restaurant. She offered help when I was trying to make a coffee by one hand with my baby in the other hand. Come back later once have opportunity! However soundproof is not good, I can hear outside noise easily and this made my baby awake.

Rooms have reasonable size but some furniture and fixture need to be replace. Staff service are warm and friendly. The restaurant offers good mix of choices. The room rate is affordable. The only thing missing for me is there is no gym here. But overall experience is enjoyable.

Decent little hotel, whenever I'm in vung tau I stay here because they have a small little casino on the first floor. Hit or miss on the wins, but it's always been fun.

Can’t speak more highly of this hotel. I stayed here for most of 4years some 20 years ago. I love ever second of my time in your great hotel, lovely city and beautiful country. But most of all I loved the people I met not a day goes by when I don’t think of my time with you. I’ve seen the photos of how the place has changed. But I’m sure the people are just the same. Beautiful inside and out. Good luck for the future.
