The best tank museum I have visited! My favorite was the tank cut in half, you could see the crew spaces very near, with ammo racks and members inside. Many tanks from WWII. Must-go for tank enthusiasts. Upstairs you can also play WoT😊

I have been to many military museums but never been to one dedicated to tanks. This is probably the only one Tank Museum in the world. It shows how tanks evolved, with real tanks of every era to the modern ones. Great place for pictures and learning. It also has details of various conflicts Jordan has been into. So a must visit place in Jordan for military enthusiasts. Ticket is also cheap so you will enjoy.

Beautiful and very large modern building full of great tanks from all over the world. This really is a world-class museum. Cheap admission prices and, as it is set in a large park, there are plenty of parking spaces. Well worth multiple visits!!

The royal tank museum is one of its kind. The enormous collection of military vehicles is amazing. These tanks date back to World War 1 era and the best part is they are not fake. This place is very clean and the display of these tanks is well organized. There are easily more than one hundred military vehicles at this place. This is also good for kids to learn about the Arab heritage.

Great museum. I have been to several tank museums all over the world and i liked this one very much. It has great variety of tanks. Very impressed with the ww2 tanks they have. Some of them I saw for the first time. Also very interesting tanks from the Cold war era. If you are in the region you must come and see it. There is a place where you can play world of tanks in the museum. Pretty fun idea. Also free parking and fair price for tickets.

I thought it was a great museum, with a good collection of tanks from several countries. I enjoyed it more than the automobile museum in Amman and it's defiantly much bigger. One of the tanks is cut in half, so you can really see what's going on inside of it :) Very informative, and good fun.

It exceeded my expectations, very well organized, everything is inside so that it can be visited even on warm days. The collection of tanks is impressive. Attractive for both adults and children. The historical presentation is also very well done. It is not included in Jordan Pass so you will have to pay 5 JOD per person. Children under 10 years don’t pay.

Amazing museum! Please have cash with you as they don't accept card payments (this is also excluded from the Jordan pass). Wort to visit it. It is very looked after and presented in the highest standard. Hige selection of tanks, from different countries, differents sizes. The displays are themed. Really nice! There is one which is split in half so you can see the inside and how its built. Highly recommended to visit.

Nestled within the grand walls of this museum, visitors are treated to a truly unique and enriching experience. Our kids enjoyed it so much knowing the evolution of tanks overtime.

Today we had the time to visit this Tank museum in Amman, it was opened in the recent years where they showcased various military tanks used during the World wars/Arab wars. Nothing less or nothing great I would say. Can spend minimum 1 hours & maximum 2hrs here to see all the Tank collections. Entry fees will be 5JD for adult’s if you have residence card it will be 2JD. Less crowded and maintained well. Can visit once.

On one of our weekends in Jordan, a group of us decided to visit the Royal Tank Museum based on a recommendation. I was expecting a few dozen tanks in an outdoor setting with limited descriptions; boy was I wrong! This is one of the finest military museums I have ever visited. The collection of armor, wheeled and tracked vehicles is incredibly impressive, with excellent descriptions, historical data, and professionally done dioramas for some of the vehicles depicting them in historical places. Everything is inside, and the building is even shaped to resemble a tank turret. Even the benches are shaped like the bottom chassis of a tank, which gave me a chuckle. While we spent about 90 minutes there, I found myself wishing we had more time, and I plan to be back to the museum on a future trip to Jordan to enjoy it more thoroughly. The admission of 5 JD for tourists is a bargain, and you won’t regret time spent here if you have any interest in the topic, historical use of armor, or military history.

Big time! only 2 JD for adults ( 5 JD for non Jordanians), kids entrance free, more than 50 tanks, with different theme. Somedays, they do entrance for free. There is a very gentleman ( Beck) helped us and listened to every single question I asked. The receptionist was very kind. The place is so clean. A very good choice for families and children. There is a puzzle for kids. Huge parking.

A great site to visit. tanks belong in museums! Very spacious indoor and outdoor area. Allows great conversations with kids about world war I and II . There is a nice focus on Jordan's history as well. Visiting during covid : They check for vaccines and make sure visitors wear masks. But some staff don't wear masks. It's unfortunate the souvenir shop isn't open yet!

The Royal Tank Museum was established by Royal Decree in 2007 to preserve tanks and armored fighting vehicles of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and to showcase other important tanks of the world. The Royal Tank Museum tells the story of tanks throughout history using high-tech user- friendly exhibits and multimedia tools.

This is a really great museum. The tank collection is extensive with lots of signage explaining the origin and history behind each model. There are 2 tanks that have been cut in half so you get a real feel for what it's like for the soldiers operating these machines. Highly recommended for a visit. The Royal Jordanian Shooting Club is about a 10 minute drive from here so you could combine both for a themed half-day outing.

This museum was an impressive experience. The collection of Main Battle Tanks and armored vehicles is a must-see for all tank enthusiasts and historians. The collection spans WW1, WW2, the Cold War, and modern era. The collection includes tanks from Germany, The USSR, Great Britain and the United States, among others. The truly unique collection is that of the MBTs and Armor used in the Arab-Israeli conflict and the units used by the Arab Legion over the past century. The Karameh Battle display is filled with historical units along with a light and audio show depicting the main parts of the battle. The gift shop was our favorite part as we picked up multiple die-cast tank models and other souvenirs at very reasonable prices. My late father was a high-ranking officer in the Arab Legion, and if he had been here with us today, he would have been beaming with pride.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Jordanian Tank Museum recently, and I must say it was an impressive experience. The museum's collection of tanks and military vehicles was nothing short of magnificent. From vintage World War II tanks to modern armored vehicles, the variety and historical significance of the exhibits were truly awe-inspiring. What made the visit even more memorable was the wealth of information available. Each tank had detailed descriptions and historical context provided, allowing visitors to gain a deep understanding of their roles in various conflicts. The museum's commitment to education was evident, as it catered to both military enthusiasts and those looking to learn more about the history of armored warfare. Furthermore, the interactive displays added an engaging element to the visit. Visitors could interact with some of the exhibits, making it a hands-on and informative experience. It was fascinating to learn about the mechanics and functions of these powerful machines. In summary, my visit to the Royal Jordanian Tank Museum was a delightful blend of historical exploration and interactive learning. Whether you have a passion for military history or simply want to appreciate the evolution of armored vehicles, this museum is a must-visit destination.

I don't know Why it took me too long to visit it ?! Although I'm familiar with the tanks but it's good thing to bring your family with you and make them acquainted with the tanks. The place is very nice, neat, and it has awesome sections, they have tanks from the WWI and they have a section for the Jordan Army Wars and their vehicles, tanks and APCs, there's another section for the tanks that was in service with Warsaw Alliance and with the NATO Alliance. If you are a military personnel or veteran, you don't need to pay anything for the tickets, the children under 12 years pay nothing, other people need to pay 2 JOD/ticket. Cash and credit cards available. They have a big parking lot outside plus they have a souvenir shop that you could buy some souvenir like pins, They have also a outside yard that have around 10 tanks so you can go over and take a picture. It's was good experience, I recommend it, if you are Amman or if you have a visit to Amman you should visit.
