One of Amman's hidden gems. I cannot speak highly enough of this beautifully curated love letter to old vintage signs. The passion for this underappreciated art form is evident through the displays and especially when you speak with the founder of this wonderful museum "Gazi Kahttab" It's a great way to learn about the history of Amman. The location is fantastic. It's in the center of Al Balad. It's open for the public for FREE. Highly Recommend 5/5

This’s an amazing museum that started off from a sign of a place called sarsour . The owner started collecting old signs after that, and with the signs, old stories were also brought together into one place. It’s very interesting and I believe it’s worth a visit. There are no fees.

It is a great idea to pay homage to their grandfathers' shop signs. However there is not much to do after skimming through the maze of signs and taking some pictures.

Very interesting museum. To discover vintage signs and the history of advertising in the Middle East at Amman's Old Signs Museum. The museum is located in the Jabal Al-Weibdeh neighborhood of Amman, very centric localization. Close to many shops and restaurants. Entrance is free.

(Translated by Google) One of the few museums that document and present Oman's modern history. The museum is still in its infancy and needs more work. All thanks to those in charge. Accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem. Such a wonderful place run by a kind & knowledgeable gentleman who loves to share stories of signs shown in the museum and offers to do free calligraphy of your name. I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you’re into history and culture, and perhaps look through their library or ask about their calligraphy lessons.

Wonderfully preserved pieces of our contemporary history. Typography and signs of an art form that is being lost more and more everyday. History and memories at every turn. I definitely recommend a visit and a chat with the curator!! So much fun!

A trip to downtown Amman is enriched by a visit to the Old Signs of Amman museum. The signs, collected across all wide range of businesses, products and spanning decades preserve a snapshot of the recent history of the city and region. I visited with two locals, both of whom found their own family’s old signs on the walls.
