The tallest tower in the complex is the tallest building in Saudi Arabia, with a height of 601 metres (1,972 feet). Currently it is the fifth-tallest freestanding structure. The project uses clock faces for each side of the main hotel tower. The highest residential floor stands at 370 m (1,210 ft), just below the media displays under the clock faces. At 43 m × 43 m (141 ft × 141 ft), these are the largest in the world. The roof of the clocks is 450 m (1,480 ft) above the ground, making them the world's most elevated architectural clocks. A 151-metre-tall (495 ft) spire has been added on top of the clock giving it a total height of 601 m (1,972 ft). Behind the clock faces there is an astronomy exhibition. Nowadays it becomes one of the main tourist attractions in the Makkah.

Great hotel with easy access to the mosque & within a big shopping mall. Staff are great specially the one in the restaurant who were very friendly and helpful. Front desk and concierge staff are good but not very informative. Room was clean, good condition furniture, good amenities overall but no coffee machine. Room was really quiet. The room service is available 24 hours with nice menu to order at anytime.

Pros: I was there for 6 days with my family and it was a wonderful stay. Rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom looked hygienic and service was good. Lobby looks luxurious with some good sofas and chairs. Cons: The room dining was a little disappointing as there were no varieties to order. Also it will be great if they add some refreshments in the Fridge.

Unpleasant stay at this hotel. Two stars for the good location only! READ FULL REVIEW BELOW! Reception were not friendly at all and do not try to help you even though it was not busy at the reception area! We asked for medical attention to the room and they arrived after 55 minutes. Obviously saftey is not a priority at this hotel. Room furniture is very old and we had one broken bed leg! Good mattresses. I see other reviews about the cold temperature of the room and i see the hotel replied that they will look into it, apparently they didn’t. Room is very cold and you need to keep turning the air conditioning on and off every once in a while to keep a good room temperature A very bad smell (like used wet socks) coming out of the AC!! I won’t have had to smell this if i paid 10% off the price i paid here. No action from housekeeping on this. Elevators - many elevators are out of service! Control button inside are broken. Screens inside are broken Breakfast is good I would recommend trying other hotels at the same area. Much less expenses and i have tried some of them some years ago and they were much better.

"The reception and reception manager should undergo training courses to deal with guests in a manner that reflects customer expectations of having reserved a five-star hotel. The amount paid is for a five-star service, but the surprise is that the experienced staff belongs to a motel, not a five-star hotel. My elderly parent and I, tired from the airport, were shocked when, coming from Canada, I spoke to the duty manager, asking if there was a problem preventing them from smiling. However, nothing changed. I even took our bags to the room myself, and no one informed us about the breakfast buffet location. Even when I complained to the duty manager, the response was indifferent. As a Level 7 Google Guide and Genius 2 on Booking, based on my extensive travel experiences worldwide, this is the worst experience. I'll wait to see if my impression of the hotel's service is accurate or just an isolated incident that doesn't reflect the hotel's customer service policies. I hope a real customer service manager contacts me, and I'll adjust my comment after communicating with one of the managers genuinely concerned about the hotel's reputation

Save your money! This hotel has the "Fairmont" name but not their service or level of care you would expect from a Fairmont. 1- Front desk has no sense or urgency, people cut you in line while trying to check-in and the staff don't care. 2- Rooms are cold! There is no heating system. Our room remained at a cool 15-17degree C, despite the 3 times we called maintenance to fix the room temperature. Rooms furniture is also bare, old and limited. Looks like over used furniture from the 80s. We were on a suite and we're disappointed in the decor. 3- Barely anyone speaks English. I understand we are in an Arabic speaking country but you need more staff that understand English in the lobby. 4- Claims "..there are 8 dining options" but in reality you have one cafe with limited dining/menu options. The other "restaurants" are reserved for private groups. 5- We finally complained to the duty manager who did very little and to pacify us we got some dates, sweets, and coffee sent to our room. As if, that was going to compensate for the overall terrible hotel experience. Pros-- great location and the lower level staff (bell desk+ waiters) are all super nice.

Been staying here for the past 10 years. It used to be the best but not anymore. No preventative maintenance. Hotel is completely warn out by all means. Starting from elevators to rooms to toilets to furniture. Customer service & satisfaction is null. Not recommended anymore.

Excellent hotel, everything is perfect. The varieties of food they served in there breakfast buffet was superb. The location of the hotel is also perfect as its only 5 to 7 minute walking distance away from the Kaaba. The staff and service here was superb! We enjoyed our stay in room number 4404. Special thanks to Mr.Riyas This hotel is definitely 5 star plus.🤩

After a positive experience in 2018 we booked the hotel again this month. Unfortunately the experience was not the same and the quality had significantly dropped! The brand Fairmont doesn’t live up to its name and the unbelievably high prices charged in this case for ‘our junior suite’ did not match the service offered! We had to wait 1.5 hours to check in! The room wasn’t ready apparently and they kept on promising it would be but we were still delayed. And when we did get our room it wasn’t up-to par. The rooms weren’t cleaned on time. The suite had multiple plumbing issues, the water wouldn’t drain from the showers properly, the bathroom reeked all throughout our stay. The chair and iron stand in the suite was broken. Calling room service to ask for a simple thing like water was never provided or answered. We complained to the duty manager and tried to talk to him twice but even when he did note our complaint there was never a followup or solution offered. Extremely disappointing and didn’t live up to the quality of a five star hotel! Thereby be careful prior to staying, especially if you are paying super high prices to get a zero grade service.

Despite that they are busy but the management is amazing the service is good. The place is classy and distinguish. I like the coffee and dates at tge reception. They sent a very nice box full of delicious desserts, dates and Arabic coffee. The view is wonderful. The furniture, the carpet and lights is architecture masterpieces.

Food (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Good food, tasty. Will be better if can variety the main course. (Asian, Western, Arab etc according to day). Appreciate if have Coffee & Tea @ M2 Room Condition Superb view & comfortable. Room Service They don't clean the room, change towels, refill the toiletries, and water everyday. Need to ask first. Need major improvement here! Hotel Location In clock tower, but need to change lift to go to Ground Floor. Lift is too slow. So time consuming.

Location is amazing except for the great mass of people and traffic, once you are there it's excellent. I would mention that the state of the rooms could be better especially for a hotel that ranks as 5 stars, there was a completely worn-out chair, with barely any upholstery left, the lamp shade had spatters of something and some marks on the carpet. I get that the hotel is in high demand and constantly full but still should be handled. Would still stay there again despite this.

This is obviously a beautiful and large hotel. My family had arranged 3 rooms. Two were twin rooms which had just about enough space for 2 people and were well kept. Unfortunately the other one was a king room which was very small for 2 people and the window was very dirty in their room. However the location and service was brilliant. Breakfast had plenty of varied choices and felt well worth it. Staff at breakfast were very polite and helpful, especially Mohamed Hafiz who was incredibly attentive.

During my recent visit to a hotel in With, I had the pleasure of booking a suite room with a stunning view overlooking the Kaaba. It was an incredible experience to see the Black Stone up close and personal, making it the best day I've ever had. Additionally, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that the hotel has private lounges exclusively reserved for gold members, which I have been visiting almost every month. The breakfast buffet was one of the major highlights of my stay, as it was one of the largest I've ever seen and had a wide variety of food to choose from. Overall, my stay at this hotel was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in With.

Ugly design. The mall is ok if you’re looking for present shopping. Bathroom situation is a disaster. For some reason, the designers of the mall decided to put the women’s and men’s bathrooms on two separate floors. The bathrooms are never clean. No toilet paper. Every soap dispenser has no soap. I think they should have used the money they put in the clock in maintaining good bathrooms instead.

Hotel has great location as its just next to Haram with easy access. Rooms were clean and spacious. We took the Kaaba view room which was excellent. It's partial view but can be seen clearly and seems very blissful. Bathrooms are small as compared to the size of the room. The layout was also quite old style but it was clean. Access to taxi can be done through their lowest floor which is a great help.

This is the most luxurious and elegant hotel ever among many in Saudi Arabia. Coming from South Africa, this is heavenly. Everything is of fineness class. Though it is a place for the rich but the accommodation is very affordable and you get to be treated like royalty as it's name says. The food is fine dining with the most world renowned chefs. A dream holiday you won't regret instead you would recommend to your fellow acquaintances.

Our room has a partial Haram view. It is amazing. There is speaker in our room as if you pray behind the Imam directly, you can control the voice volume or switch it off. Regarding the staff and workers in general they are super friendly and highly professional. The room service staff are super gentle and very respectful. The lounge in P11 floor is cozy and fancy. I do like the whole experience and definitely I will repeat it with god willing in the same location.

Just located near to Baitullah. But one thing I want to say is that it's a scenic view of Kaaba from here. It is the tallest skyscraper in Makkah Mukarrama and inside here there is a collection of Shops/Outlets, Luxury Hotels Chains and Restaurants and has installed the largest watch in the world. I am not sure but I heared it's more than 600 meters of height, also it has a beautiful views of the city Makkah and the nearby from the top. Must go Place

We enjoy the stay while doing umrah, facilities are very good. Breakfast was perfect, service at breakfast was amazing by staff member (Hafiz) as he was very kind and helpful and remembered our details every morning of our stay! The scent of the whole building is amazing because of the universal scent devices. Two negative comments here: Room service is slow ، and sometimes they forget you called! we asked for late check out but they refused more than 1 hour and they will charge half night for it, which kills the warmth of the place !

Excellent location. The hotel is very large and beautiful. We found cockroaches in the room and in general expected rooms windows and open areas a bit cleaner than what we experienced. Also lunch/dinner options are extremely limited for a 5-star hotel

We booked 4 rooms on the same floor but due to high occupancy they gave us 2 rooms and upgrade us to 2 bedroom suite with Kaaba view. Staff is very cooperative. They have the option of praying on floor S2 which is very convenient for the elderly. Breakfast has decent variety, beds are very comfortable. Location is excellent due to its vicinity to the holy mosque. On the downside, WiFi is very slow. Lifts take long as some of them were not working and porters were using the same lifts for delivery baggage to the room. Room dining options were limited and expensive.

Had a great time here. The room was good - fantastic view of Kaaba. Service at the restaurant was amazing - a big shout out to Hafiz who was very helpful while we were trying to handle our two young children. The only thing that I would improve is the check in process. The check in took us about 30-40min, which is much longer than I experience in most hotels. Overall I loved the experience and would come back.

Kazi was very kind and helped us feel very at home during our time at Makkah. He even showed us suggestions of where to take the best photos. He spoke to us like we were family and he was extremely knowledgeable about the city and where to travel to. This hotel is beautiful and extremely luxurious. The kind environment made this trip even more worth it. I will never forget this trip and the next time I am able to come to Makkah, I will definitely be staying here!

Great hotel. A true pinnacle of luxury right next to the Ka’aba. It is a struggle to get the Haram as you have to take multiple lifts down. Need to plan in advance and go down earlier than prayer time. The view was epic, we had Ka’aba view and it was extremely calming to be able to look at it from our room all the time. The breakfast is something i will never forget. It was heavenly. I would recommend trying the fresh jams. Great stay.

Location and rooms are very good. Traveled with wife and a little daughter. For breakfast, either of the parent could go for breakfast and bring food up in the room for other parent, so the other parent could stay with the daughter. But hotel management didn’t allow us to do that and the daughter wakes up if mother is not around. Got too inconvenient and difficult to manage. Furthermore, we booked a double bed and as we entered the room, nicest gift of two single beds. Called reception and they said we were given the room we booked. Incomplete set of toiletries. Less water in the room, requested the staff the send more, their response was very rude.

Amazing location. S2 level prayer hall is a blessing. Reception staff are great. Don’t expect the same standard of service from house keeping. Looks like they don’t do a thing if you don’t tip them (or may be they give preference to Arabs than others). Three nights in a row, they didn’t care to do our room. Luggage service is excellent. At the concierge, things are a mess. Apparently they do not know what is a queue system. They don’t proactively call the next in line when they get free.

Unfortunately was a very bad experience starting from service to rooms to food. We have added certain requests to our rooms and when we arrived none of our requests were made. Additionally, only 1 out of 2 rooms was ready. The receptionist promised they will change out bed since we requested a king bed. After coming back from our umrah we were surprised to see that the two double beds were just combined. And in the process they had broken our suitcase. After reporting this, the attitude we received was them trying to let us think that the breakage was our fault. Not only did they handle the situation very poorly, they were placing the issue on us when the bag was completely fine before leaving the room. Now we are traveling and our bag is not working. Additionally, we had a half baked and when we went to dinner unfortunately the food was below average and cold and the service was below average. The staff are changing their words on wether drinks are included. All in all they offer very high prices for very low quality and they lack professionalism. When you go to a 5 star hotel you do not expect to face any of these issues but unfortunately we have faced these issues which inconvenienced our trip. I would not recommend anyone to come here

I'm delighted to share my current experience here at the Fairmont hotel in Mecca! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Abdullah serving coffee. The smile on his face truly made my day. The breathtaking view of the Holy Mosque from my room is truly awe-inspiring. It's an incredible feeling to be so close to the sacred site, allowing me to easily attend prayers and immerse myself in the spiritual atmosphere. The room itself is a haven of comfort and luxury. The plush bed and elegant furnishings ensure a relaxing stay, and the modern amenities cater to all my needs. Throughout my stay, the staff has been incredibly attentive, providing top-notch service and ensuring that I have everything I need for a memorable visit. Their warm hospitality truly sets this hotel apart. As I continue my pilgrimage here in Mecca, the Fairmont hotel has played a significant role in making this journey spiritually enriching and deeply meaningful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the holy city for an unforgettable and spiritually fulfilling experience.

The location is convenient due to the fact that it right across from the Haram and is part of the clock tower complex. The cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful. Those are the only positive points of my experience. The staff was rude, dismissive and above all, racist. It was evident that they treated light colored skin significantly better than other guests. It happened in front of us, while we were spoken to rudely, others were spoken to softly. We had reservations for Haram view King rooms but did not receive what we paid for. While I understand bed choices cannot be guaranteed, one of the rooms did not have any view. It took a significant amount of back and forth to finally get the room we paid for. During breakfast, we were told we did not purchase the meal for all members of our family but we had a print out of the reservation showing otherwise. Rather than apologize or attempt to rectify the misunderstanding, we were embarrassed in front of other guests and the staff member insinuated we were lying. The staff member spoke to us in a rude and disrespectful manner. At the reservation desk, it was the same story until a manager was called and they corrected the error on their end. No apology, just told to go back and it was fixed. When we asked for directions, the staff were not willing to help, they were annoyed that we even approached them. We asked the cleaning staff questions and they provided us with detailed information. On checkout day, we learned that our designated pick up needed a clearance code to come get us. We asked concierge about 1.5 hrs before our departure. They told us we were inquiring too early and we would need to come back. When we came back, there was no one to be found. When we asked the reservations desk for help, they dismissed us and told us that we did not need to be standing at the desk and we could go. It’s very disheartening that steps away from the holiest site for Muslims across the world, people could be so ungracious and unwelcoming. There are multiple hotels within the clock tower complex. I hope the other hotels fare better in customer service.

The Abraj Al-Bait (Arabic: ابراج البيت‎ "Towers of the House") is a government-owned complex of seven skyscraper hotels in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. These towers are a part of the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project that aims to modernize the city in catering to its pilgrims. The central hotel tower, the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, has the world's largest clock face and is the third-tallest building and fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the world. I went for shopping here and I had a good time here. I bought many items from the Abraj avenue especially.

Good service especially at breakfast time and the room cleaning is on point. However some floors that are really high up like R1 and R2, need direction plates to reach the rooms easily. The reception isn't not easy to reach via phone so it takes some time to get in touch.

The service is great. My room always in immaculate state. Clean very fast. The housekeeper at our floor 15 is Mr Faruk who took care of needs very well. He is fast in his cleaning and detail as well. Good mannerism and always smile to guests.

We had a lovely stay at the Fairmont Hotel, Makkah Clock Towers. A very special mention to Riyas Hussein (M3 restaurant - catering management team during breakfast times) who was extremely caring and hospitable during our time here. He especially went out of his way to help me with a special request which was fulfilled to exceptional standards. He is extremely caring and communicates very effectively. We wish him and all the staff at the hotel all the best especially during the busy season. Thank you.

Great hotel to stay. Can pray all prayers in haram with few minutes walk. Room cleaning service is very good. Mr. Mohiuddin provides towels and keeps bathroom clean daily. He always asks if we need anything else and try to answer any questions we have for local services. Nice guy. Loved staying here. Lot of food and shopping options also.

Overall a great stay. Good points: very close to Haram, access to mall, nice lobby, fast and efficient elevators, generous supply of bottled water, polite and helpful staff. Negative points: booked room with twin beds but got room 4 small beds which we did not need and made our room really cramped, breakfast menu quite limited and should be changed regularly, few things in our room wasn't functioning such as the reading lamps, A/C temperature was difficult to change, carpet in room looks like in need of deep cleaning.

We had overall a good stay at this hotel. The housekeeping was done by Rabbiul Ouwwal, a very kind young man. He did it very well. The room smelled fresh and was clean. The room itself had some points: shower was not always working well. Heat/cold differed. Room needed some small fixings. Room was big and very much space for luggage and stuff. Ac was working good. Bed was also good.

Mall is OK. Food court needs more variety, not everyone wants to eat fast food. More healthy options are needed and more cafes.

Pros: big & clean room. King size bed. 5 star standard room. A lot of space at restaurant even in peak seasons. Completed with big prayer room Cons: food taste is so so and some foods taste so salty. Same various of foods everyday. Complicated lift system. You need to change lift from room to hotel lobby then go to shopping mall or haram.

My stay was great! The service was good and the food provided by the restaurant for breakfast was very diverse and delicious. My only problem was with how empty the hotel room was, as there was nothing in the fridge ( milk for coffee, etc. ) and there was no slippers for the bathroom ( had to buy it myself ). Other than that, the staff was amazing and very helpful and respectful. I'm happy with my stay here :) This review was recommended to me by a waiter at the restaurant, Hafeeth, and he was a very good and quick waiter.

Great location, Excellent Staff, just okay breakfast options. I certainly come back to this hotel because of the services their staff provides. Most of the staff we interacted with are very helpful. They make you feel special. Our house keeper Russel Bhuiyan and couple duty manager ( I forgot their name) went above and beyond with their services.

We stayed her for 3 nights absolutely loved it. They Fairmount service was exceptional and would definitely go back and recommend. The only issue is the lift as its very confusing given that u need to get to the holy mosque for each prayer it gets rather frustrating and tiring so take this into account. But still views and rooms are amazing.

Very nice facilities. Rooms are large and spacious. View was amazing from the room! Would definitely stay here. Only thing is the elevator situation, getting g into the room and out to Haram is a 3 elevator adventure every time. And the elevators are slow.

I had an amazing experience, very clean, very understanding and the customer service is immaculate. The room was very spacious well organized as well had everything I needed and more. Amran Hossain (who managed my room) always made sure everything was cleaned and replisned every single day. The customer service was beyond my expectations and his supervisor Sahajan was absolutely helpful and didn't give me anything to complain about. I will definitely come back just for the service, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

it was a wonderful stay. Rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom looked hygienic and service was good. Lobby looks luxurious with some good sofas and chairs. Cons: The room dining was a little disappointing as there were no varieties to order. Also it will be great if they add some refreshments in the Fridge.

Breakfast for the last 6 days at the fairmont hotel was just amazing. From the eggs to the tea everything was done to perfection. Special thanks to our waiter Hafiz, such a wonderful person. He showed excellent hospitality and his service was 10/10. He was always there when we needed something and was always ready to help where he could. He greeted us everyday with a smile and having a friendly face around was the perfect way to start the day. His special karak mixed tea was so delicious, we made a point to have it at breakfast every single day.

Very nice and clean hotel. House cleaning staff, Yousuf was very good at his job, he cleaned the room very thoroughly. Only thing needed to improve for me was that the WiFi didn’t connect in our room and we needed more sockets to charge our phones. Besides that really enjoyed my stay here

Great hotel. Location was amazing and the staff is lovely and very helpful. All of our complaints were dealt with immediately. We had the breakfast buffet and enjoyed it too. One small note for the hotel: there are small things like the kit in the bathroom and other small details in the room which don’t add finesse to the stay. That will make it 5 star worthy!
