Al
Wadi
Restaurant
is
a
great
place
in
Wadi
Masu
to
sample
a
taste
of
Jordanian
hospitality.
The
service
here
was
super
friendly,
and
the
item
that
impressed
me
most
was
the
huge
round
of
freshly-baked
flatbread,
which
was
thin
yet
crispy
and
chewy
and
reminded
me
of
a
bubbly
naan.
This
went
perfectly
with
the
appetizers
we
ordered
including
the
creamy
hummus
topped
with
olive
oil,
and
the
kibbeh,
four
little
fritters
made
of
bulgur
stuffed
with
ground
lamb
meat.
But
the
item
on
the
menu
that
stood
out
to
me
as
a
“must-try”
was
the
Camel
Meat
Kebab!
These
kebabs
were
made
with
ground
camel
meat
mixed
with
herbs
and
spices,
and
the
kebabs
were
super
juicy
and
had
a
subtle
flavor.
The
set
of
three
kebabs
were
served
with
pita
bread
spread
with
tomato
paste,
onions,
and
herbs,
along
with
grilled
onions/tomatoes/peppers,
a
salad
of
chopped
parsley
and
onions,
and
a
tomato-based
sauce
on
the
side
for
dipping.
Everything
we
had
here
was
tasty,
but
the
standouts
for
me
were
the
fresh
bread
for
its
deliciousness
and
the
camel
meat
for
its
sheer
novelty.
