The staff is so friendly! Their Guarana Juice is the best I have ever had. Also, the sandwich was 20/10! I ate the first half of it already lol… My new fav. place to lunch definitely!!

Ordered online for the first time today and it worked perfectly. It even gave us an estimated time of order being ready. We arrived there about 5 mins ready and they were practically done with my order. Then I found out they just launched their online order today and I was able to confirm it works great. They asked to see what confirmation I received - I showed them the text with estimated time order is ready along with my payment receipt. That made them really happy. Go place your order online so it's ready when you arrive. 🤙

There weren’t other Japanese But I was see some soldiers. The açai bowl is very tasty. The banana are sweet, so I didn’t need to add honey. I regret not choosing Layers of Paradise. See you soon！

I got the Peanut dream smoothie I believe, it was very good. My only problem was it was way to sweet for me. Next time I go I definitely will get it without any sweetener. I've heard really great things about their smoothie bowls. There is only one size for smoothies but they have 2 size options for smoothie bowls.

By far the best Açaí On the island!!! So delicious and the Layers of Paradise is a must try, only place on the Island you’ll find it. I have tried several different items on their menu and have yet to find something I didn’t like! Staff is super friendly and helpful and the spacious patio with a view overlooking a lake is a nice way to enjoy your treat too! You’ve got to make this a stop!

I love Maluawai Cafe, everything is done with great care and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend it and it has the best açaí.

The Sandwiches were really good (finally some crunchy bread!) and we had an acai bowl as dessert and that one was delicious too. Very friendly staff!

This place is excellent. As a true Brazilian, it’s the best Açaí in Hawaii. Try also the drink. Warana (Guarana).

Got the makua açaí bowl after a long day of hiking and it didn’t disappoint! My husband liked his fresh strawberry lemonade as well. Will be back!

Terrible. I cannot say worse things about this place. They don’t have any sort of order numbering system and came out and handed our order to the wrong family without realizing after we waited 25 minutes. Nearly 40 minutes later we finally received our order after we asked about our order and they realized their error. No apologies, no rush on our order. They just kept us waiting for again nearly 40 minutes for two acai bowls. Unbelievable. Awful service. Would not recommend there are far better acai places very close by.

Everything about this place is amazing. I’ve been coming here since they opened and I LOVED everything that I tried so far. They have the best açaí I’ve ever had. Their sandwiches and smoothies are also amazing. Great staff, amazing ambience, beautiful lake view, can’t say enough good things about this place! Its a must to stop here on your way to the north shore!
