Our family LOVES this beach park. We have called here a few times and it is awesome! A few things to note... there is no soap in the restrooms (like all the other beach parks) and the gates close at random times after dark. Don't think you are safe because the sign says a specific time... they do it when they want.

Beautiful beach park maintained fairly well (grass is dead in much of the park and chickens have dug holes throughout so beware of tripping hazards. There is also a homeless presence (near cove/bay area) but overall enjoyable experience for our family.

This place is great free parking not crowded, only thing you'll need water shoes if you go out in water. Great snorkeling and OMG... bunches of sea turtles. Lovely sunset

This beach is absolutely unbelievable. The views are phenomenal and the beach was virtually empty when we came. This beach/park is very peaceful and I would choose this over the honolulu beaches any day.

Amazing Park, with breathtaking views and scenery, along with awesome waves. Highly recommended if visiting or even living on the island. Plenty of parking and well maintained park.

This is a great local park with lots of options: grass, sand, beach, clean bathrooms, paved road to walk or an outer perimeter path and tons of parking. Some great sunsets. My dogs love it too!

Introduced to this spot by a good friend and love coming out to fish and camp. There’s a gate that closes near 8pm, which removes visitors out and only those camping (w/passes) can stay. It’s truly a special place for my friends and family. Pics can do this place justice and don’t want this beach to be popular so I’ll stop my review here. 🤙🏽💯

Beautiful shady trees in Kaiaka Bay Beach Park provide excellent space for daytime yoga. Mellow local vibe.

One great thing about this beach is it is away from the more touristy beaches of the north shores so not crowded at all. My wife and I took a surf lesson here in July. The waves were not that big, so it was perfect for us as beginners. It was low tide and the water was very shallow and the bottom of the bay is all coral reef which made for a rough landing every time I fell off my board. Great scenery.

I love this beach. Leaned to dive and swim here. To go diving. Spear fishing. Body boarding. Snorkeling. Great memories.

Kaiaka (the mirrored sea) Beach Park is a safe place to sit and have lunch, take a walk on the beach, look at sea turtles, or have a picnic/party. The grounds are well kept and the public restrooms clean. Indoor and outdoor showers are available. Camping is allowed by permit only. A great spot for fishing, throw net, snorkeling and diving. Almost all year long, small waves provide a fun surfing experience. A beautiful view of Kaena Point and Mount Ka’ala from this park. And an excellent place to watch the sunset!

Great little area, lots of locals camping out when we were there and they were very polite. One of them was spear finishing and they caught an octopus and cut it up for bait, not sure if that is legal or not but it was interesting to see. We had fun just chilling there and enjoying the turtles swimming nearby.

Been here before camping but it has gotten a bit run down. Park wise. Bathrooms well kept and shower area ok. Just the people that hang out and camp without permits is unbelievable. Back before the pandemic, it was an even better place to camp. Hardly any green grass to camp on. I think that's the biggest down side to camping here compared to a place like Kualoa Beach Park. All brown grass and dirt. We had a good time though because the weather was very nice. Gets a bit windy around the afternoon time.

Kai aka Bay Beach was nice, but it was a bit rocky with quite a bit of volcanic reefs. If you are not careful when walking on the reefs, you may be cut up pretty well if you happen to fall. Appropriate shoes is highly recommended, bring your camera, and enjoy taking some cool pics and vids as you see crabs scurry about.

Love the beach. Lots of homeless and people bathing themselves with the outdoor shower. Very strong current, lots of rocks, not for swimming or surfing. Over all its quiet and beautiful.
