A regional park beach. Not crowded. Turtles tend to enjoy their swimming there. Not many fish since coral reefs are limited The waves are big, so stay safe. Please respect the law and nature and keep a safe distance from the turtles.

After pigging out at the shrimp trucks, we stumbled upon this really nice stretch of beach hidden behind some trees and bushes, what a great find! So relaxing and not too crazy waves

Small neighborhood park with bathrooms and a outdoor shower. Playground for kids as well. I walked through the brush and onto the beach. It's a short beach section with a little bit of a decline to the water. I was shaded for most of the morning. When I got into the water you have to swim out a little bit further to see some decent fish. If you find the cement pyramids that are submerged in the water, that's where I found the turtles and most of the fish to be. The water out there can be a little rougher so make sure you wear a comfortable swimmer.

It’s my favorite beach on the North Shore. Located in Waialua town on the north shore. Waialua is between Haleiwa and Mokuleia town. It’s a long stretch of nice sandy beach. Bring your umbrellas as there’s not much shade on this beach. There are random rocks when you enter the water and then it gets clear. The beach park has bathrooms, outdoor showers and picnic tables. There’s also a play structure area for kids. Parking is just on the streets. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. We had a picnic and went snorkeling on our second visit. If I could move to Oahu, I would love to live in Waialua.

Blessed to call this beach, my own personal beach, 4 minutes from home. It’s only busy on the weekends, local families have their kids birthday parties on the park side. Sunrises and sunsets here are mesmerizing. I have gotten real got shots of them over the years. It’s a safe beach for kiddos. In summer this beach is flat, clear like a lake. In winter it can be rocky. We have our own family of turtles living here, please don’t go to close to them and invade their privacy “For tourist it is illegal to touch or harass sea turtles as they are all protected by the Endangered Species Act. ... NOAA advises that people keep a distance of at least 10 feet for sea turtles and 50 feet for seals.” Bathrooms are generally cleaner the first part of the day. There are showers and picnic tables on the park side. This beach is ‘hidden’ for a reason.

Beautiful park with nice shade trees. The water was clear in the early morning and seeing the turtles was easy. Nice shallow water/small waves for little kids. Beautiful snorkeling opportunities. Right next to a playground and bathrooms. Showers were available. Better to get there early as there is limited parking

Went here to snorkel and saw a turtle and several small fish. On-street parking only unless you have a handicap placard (there is one spot). Course sand beach with rinse-off station and restrooms. No tourists were present (except us) during the week. Recommended.

Beautiful beach, didn’t get pictures of the park but a lot of kids playing in the park! And alot of guys playing basketball on the basketball court. It is super clean!! Almost always busy most the time and the ocean has really shallow reefs! Careful walking on it there are a ton of Sea urchins! Definitely need water shoes of wanting to walk out there!! Not a lot of surfing going on out there..

Nice local beach! Waves could be strong so not suitable for swimming. Parking is on street only.

Private and not a ton of people crowding the area. The sunset was stunning. We even saw some turtles near the shore. These photos are not edited in any matter. Truly breathtaking!

Nice locals Beach! The waves can be rough and the sand is deep. Great place to watch crabs play in the sand. There is a quick drop off from the beach area to deep water. Bathrooms, shower and play area

Nice small beach park, playground, 2 bathroom stalls with doors, sink wash hands, even drinking fountain by picnic area. Close to beach with some shade 🌳 trees, and tall coconut trees, will come back. Family friendly.

Nice beach with a moderate amount of people so you have your own space to swim or relax in. Great medium-sized beach for families that is decently clear, good for swimming, and excellent for sunbathing and sleeping / reading in the shade. Excellent choice for those looking for a more mellow excursion.

I was disappointed in this beach, we went early in January. Positives are easy parking for North Shore, locals are there not tourists, and low crowds. However the snorkeling was really difficult, fish were there but sparse, but the current and waves made it really difficult to not get water down your snorkel tube, and not get thrown around. My teenage daughter was freaked out by the sea urchin too. Not a turtle to be seen midday. The day we went there weren’t enough waves to do body boarding so no one was impressed.

This beach is beautiful and not too crowded, even though we decided to visit on Labor Day. There's the park but there's also another entrance if you keep driving. The side entrance doesn't have amenities though, but still has a beautiful view. We saw lots of turtles and some cute crabs. The water was shallow which is great for kids, but if you want to swim you'll have to go out further. It's also very rocky and may need water shoes. Overall great beach! Hopefully we can come back when it isn't too busy.

If you're willing to make the drive, it's worth the quiet, secluded beach. Not overrun lots of turtle action. Water is amazing and swimming in great. There is a washroom and outdoor shower. After a swim, not far from food services. Lots of parking.

It’s right by our house, family, dog friendly, not crowded and a great beach and field area to chill. Playground is great for any age. We went to a Birthday party and this was our first time at this spot and will definitely be a new cool beach spot

Very little parking so get there early to find a spot. The beach is small, but there generally aren’t a ton of people there. Bathrooms and someplace to shower off located on site as well. Great for swimming and snorkeling.
