I truly appreciate a good service. I was in excruciating pain and needed to see a dental doctor right away. Mauka Family Dental managed to squeeze me in on their schedule at my last minute call, treated it as an emergency and saw me the same day. The staff was very warm and welcoming, especially the doctor himself and his assistant, (I believe her name was “Mina”?) I came in terrified, especially after finding out that I had an infection. But Mina and Dr. Wee not only addressed my issue immediately but was also patient enough to listen to my concerns and educate me as well. They also let family members sit with you at the exam room and include them in the conversation. Kindness truly goes a long way. Trips to the doctor are always so overwhelming but it makes a huge difference when you can feel that they actually care. I went home feeling less worried about my situation and more hopeful that I’ll be okay because I am in good hands. Thank God He led me here at Mauka Family Dental.

I'm a person that likes to compliment people when I get good service but at the same time also will let people know when I get bad service this was my first visit at this Dental place and the people at the front desk wasn't very friendly at all. Bernie wasn't too bad but the other woman was very unfriendly. Being this was my first visit I had some questions but the one woman was kind of rude very impatient, like she was getting irritated that I was asking questions. I don't think everyone in the front desk is bad I got good service when I Called on the phone. However my hygienist and the dentist was great. Ariel my hygienist was awesome very nice friendly very thorough, gentle was very patient and explained everything to me. Ariel made me feel very comfortable. Wish I remembered the dentist name but he was good. My suggestion is if you do decide to get the in-house insurance plan ask questions so you understand exactly how the plan works,cuz it's kind of tricky.

I just had my first visit at Mauka family dental and it was amazing! I actually switched my dentists because I felt like my last dentist would always over diagnose me and suggest procedures or things that I felt like I didn’t need or did not need as bad as they were suggesting. This dentist was very upfront with the costs, what was covered, what wasn’t, and even told me that he wants to prioritize everything he thinks I need done so I’m not spending tons of money on things I really don’t need! The dental assistant/hygienist was so so nice! They even told me I could bring my 6 month son with me and the assistant was making him laugh and smile and even helped calm him down when the dentist was trying to talk to me. The receptionist is so understanding and just so sweet! I was stuck in traffic and was 15 minutes late and they were so nice about it!! As soon as I walked in there was a board with my name on it that said “New patients:” I definitely would recommend them to anybody and everybody!! Best dentist I’ve ever had!!

Just moved to the area, I was nervous to find a good dental office. I actually got recommended here from my child dentist. I had my first appointment yesterday 05/10/23 I had a good first experience. I had to bring my 4 year old along and they helped me with her and were so kind to her. Also when I first came to check in I noticed they wrote my name on a sign and it said welcome ! How nice and welcoming. I’m guessing they do this for first time appointments. Small gesture but definitely made me smile and felt welcome, that they took the time to that. I would recommend this dental clinic to anyone.

Just went to Mauka Family Dental for the first time yesterday. My former dentist retired and I was happy to find a good dentist in my neighborhood. The dental hygienist was very competent and gentle. They did a complete X-ray scheme, including the full-face one. Dr. Kim was very personable and helpful. I got the clean teeth prize! (Just kidding...) I'll be going back.

I loved getting my teeth cleaned here! The location is very convenient with great parking availability across from the McDonalds in Mauka. The office is very clean and well air conditioned. My dental technician was so sweet and adorable. Disney piano music was playing the entire time my cleaning was being done so in my head I was singing along to every song. The dental technician was very gentle and my whole cleaning was a very pleasant experience. The dentist is very nice and explained financing options for updating my future teeth straightening retainers. The staff was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

This is my first visit to Mauka Family Dental! I’m so impressed with the whole thing! Friendly receptionists waiting room clean and comfortable. Dental hygienist Ariel is excellent she’s so good and gentle with me! Explain everything before she works on my teeth! Dr. Wee is very friendly and caring he examined thoroughly!!! I’m so happy to found a new dentist after 28 years with my previous dentist he had retired! I definitely referred to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Wee and the staff. Rose B.

Today was my first visit. I met with Diana, the Hygienist. She is professional, polite and bubbly! Love her attitude! Dr. Wee was professional, explaining all my options and letting me know what treatment was needed first. I was impressed. The treatment is left for me to decide and a work up of costs is sent to me -- for my decision making! 5 stars for this first visit!
