Overall:
Definitely
go
here.
Is
it
the
best
coffee
around?
Probably
not.
The
espresso
was
slightly
over-extracted
and
their
were
visible
grounds
in
the
cup
upon
completion.
The
cold-brew,
however,
was
well-made.
It
was
bright
with
a
medium
body.
My
partner
grabbed
an
iced
vanilla
latte
which
was
just
sweet
enough!
The
real
star
of
the
show,
however,
are
their
pastries.
Specifically
the
Kouign
Amann.
We
tried
the
original
Kouign
Amann,
the
seasonal
(strawberry)
and
the
black
sesame.
All
three
were
amazing.
Hands
down
the
best
pastry
I’ve
had
in
a
very
long
time.
They
were
flaky
and
soft
with
a
sweet
and
buttery
nectar
in
the
center.
You
need
to
have
one.
We
also
tried
the
cheese
&
ham
croissant.
It
was
mediocre
and
not
worth
the
price
($7.50).
Additionally,
everything
here
was
expensive:
Espresso
was
$4.50
for
a
double
shot
-
add
$1
for
the
100%
Kona
coffee
espresso
blend);
iced
coffee
was
$5.50
for
the
12
oz;
the
latte
was
roughly
$6;
and
the
pastries
were
easily
$5
and
up.
Moreover,
the
staff
was
super
helpful.
I
had
a
lovely
employee
help
me
choose
some
whole
bean
coffee
to
bring
back
home.
I
did
not
get
her
name
but
she
was
very
kind
and
patient
with
me
while
she
generously
let
me
sample
their
coffees.
You
should
definitely
go
here.
It’s
worth
the
wait.
