First they gave my original order to a different customer who left with my order. So I ended up re-doing my order, just for them to screw that up by giving the completely wrong order. But wait there's more the next two times they messed those up too. But they finally got it right by the fifth order. Plus side is, I got a free side. Note to self, never go in there when it's a bunch of knuckle headed teens working. 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️.

Picked up the catering pack from here through an online order. I was more than pleased that my food was just cooked and very hot. The servings were just right. Per website, a pack had about 12 servings. My family had more than enough leftovers to then take home. When I got there, the cooks were still making my food — orange and mushroom chicken. I was greeted right away by a woman, much older than me, who addressed me “manang.” 😆 Also offered me a free drink while I waited and then carried my entire order to my car when it was ready. Very friendly evening staff! I added a photo to show how huge the portions were. I used an apple banana (we Filipinos, here) for scale.

Note: I was so hungry I forgot to take photos. What I appreciate most about Panda Express, especially in this economy, is their great pricing comparing to similar foods in Hawaii. We got two orders of the Bigger Plate, which consists of one starch, and three entrees. Even after choosing a premium dish which costs $1.50 extra, each plate comes out to $15. The amount of food you get for this price is greater than other quick service Chinese restaurants, and much cheaper than dine-in actual restaurant versions. The sides we chose this time was stir-fried noodles, and chow fun. I prefer the chow fun as it's more soft and digestible. The entrees were: Plate A: honey roasted walnut shrimp, Beijing beef, beef with black pepper sauce (forgot the actual name) Plate B: honey roasted walnut shrimp, beef & broccoli, orange chicken My favorite is the honey roasted walnut shrimp(that's why I got it two times). It's not the best version of this dish, but PE does it pretty well - 7/10. The beef in black pepper sauce was a close second. Pretty big chunks of tender beef. Awesome - 8/10. The Beijing beef is good, crispy and tasty. But because it was battered, the actual beef part is tiny - 7/10. The beef in the beef broccoli is good, but the ratio is skewed too much of broccoli - I would say it's 7 to 3, which is way too much broccoli. I don't recommend this dish if you want a lot of beef, unless you really love broccoli - 6/10. The orange chicken this time was too chewy, not tender at all, really disappointing - 5/10. The saving grace was they gave us a lot, and in total the employee who serviced me was generous for all the portions, so in the end this makes a big factor in my review. Here in Hawaii, a Korean plate lunch with this generous of portions would cost at least $20. Other quick service Chinese pick and choose places would give 2/3 of these portions at most. I don't think there is any other local Chinese place that gives us this big of servings for this price. So in the end, when you're starving for Chinese food and want to be on a budget, I think Panda Express is the best option.

Never been to a panda that skimped on portion size, until now. The beef was super dry and overcooked. Only came to this location because of the dive through.

I haven’t been to Panda Express in over 10 years, but I ended being dragged here by friends. Now I remember why I stayed away. The food is pretty bad. Both the chow mein and fried rice were dry and shockingly flavorless. The beef broccoli was ok, but nothing to write home about and a bit heavy on the salt. And while their signature orange chicken wasn’t too bad, eating it makes me feel like I’m eating chicken nuggets rather than Chinese food. Add on the prices that are unreasonably high for a supposed fast food place, and it gets me wondering why people bother coming here at all.

Drive thru went fast but that was the high point. Ordered $70 plus dollars in fast food just for them to forget a portion in the box.

My "go to" spot for fast food. It's cheap, filling and good quality for money can buy. When I dine in, the workers are pretty attentive too. My only concern is to keep an eye on your orders and make sure they don't give it to someone else. Happened once to me when they were busy in the Kapolei location.

Drive through, the young lady couldn't hear nor get my order right. Once I received my food, it was not what I ordered and thrown together. Parked, requested and received a refund .

I stopped by and got the “bigger plate” which included three entrees. Went half and half on the fried rice and fried rice noodles. My go to entree is the honey walmut shrimp. That took care of my honey walnut craving. I also tried out their crispy chili shrimp. It was very dry and lacked flavor. I also got the tofu and eggplant which was served is a separate smaller box. This vegetarian entree was good. The service here is great. People behind the counter are friendly. Ample seating space. Parking is hard to get as the lot was full when I arrived for dinner. This is not a new issue for Hawaii. I parked on the street and walked a bit to the restaurant. Overall, good dining experience.

It's always something with this restaurant. Either the shrimp is burnt it's overcooked, or like now in the case the noodles have a taste and the seasonings are not correct for the noodles avoid this one it's bringing down the panda brand don't believe the cops and give you they don't give them.

Catered food for our employee Holiday event. Food was hot and virtually ready upon arrival. I didn't catch the managers name, but she made sure everything was good to go. Mahalo

I love Panda Express but they're orange chicken tasted like they cooked it with fish And I got white rice and it was like brown like it been in the warmer a long time and overly starchy

Food is always good, prices are a little high. This location is very busy. Drive thru line always on the road. Takeout line equally long if you can find parking. They offer ordering on app or online, but there's only 1 person working that line, so wait can be long there too.

Food is good, I prefer to sit inside as it’s usually quiet, however if you’re on the run you can use the drive-thru but it gets busy

Food consistently great. Staff get the job done quickly. Place is always clean. Only minor issue is trash cans always overflowing.

Fast service, lots of choices of tasty dishes. Long line in drive thru and moderate crowd dine-in. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Moderate prices.

Great Chinese food and selection for a reasonable price. Server tends to scoop a lot.

Been awhile. Prices up but where has not had that happen. Got 2 entree plate and 1 side. Thought what I got was good. Liked it a lot. Fountain drink did not hurt either. Place was clean. Staff were attentive. VERY limited parking that cannot be helped.

I'm happy that my first Panda Express experience was at this location! Especially considering the area that it's in- the restaurant is VERY clean and comfortable! Food tasted very yummy + surprisingly fresh. Everything was just so much more organized, clean, etc. than I had anticipated! Am planning on frequenting this location.

Food is fresh always. Great selection and not your typical Chinese dishes although they do have some. Food tastes great.

Hands down the worst location. They seem to never get an order right and the management is less that satisfactory. Several times I’ve had bad service and missing orders. When you bring it up to them they never correct it. King Street Honolulu

Food is super delicious! And they were very busy early in the morning and she still got my order to me, good job!

This is my go-to Panda Express restaurant that I enjoy eating at. It is a pretty busy location and the parking lot is small, but the service is fast so it's not too bad. The staff seems to be working hard every time I go and they are friendly when interacting with them.

Got lunch for myself and my Boo. Hardly anyone there but the food was great! Pricey, $30.00 for the two of us. For lunch? Eh, I guess it was good, but $30 bucks? Whatever...
