STOP DO NOT STAY HERE! STOP DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The reason that I stayed here was because it was more for the convenience because my son stayed on base. The conveniences cost me because two weeks later they charge me for two damaged towels that appears to be just dirty. After they charge me I looked up their reviews and they do this all the time. Trying to talk to somebody is a joke you have to communicate through email. I had told them that I wanted the towels that was damaged they charge me. I sent my son back over to get the damaged towels The person that I was emailing told me she will assure that I get the correct towels . They gave him a whole new set of towels. The pattern was totally different on one and the color didn’t match on the other one. When I emailed her back with pictures showing that that they gave my son the wrong towels. She emailed me back with a apology saying that the housekeeping manager are really busy. How can housekeeping be busy when they labeled my towels with my room number and date that I checked out. This is their routine so please don’t stay here. Some of other reason we had a bad stay was we waited over a hour to get a iron. The air conditioner sound like a car with no muffler. The floors was dirty that’s how the floor towel got dirty , toilet was dry and kept running my husband had to fixed it because nobody showed up.

I hate this place. For being a military hotel they are lacking many amenities such a breakfast, coffee, a stove, cleaner rooms. All the sheets are stained they look moldy. Also the laundry is so inconvenient and expensive, $3 per load plus in order to reload the card you must pay cash. Oh yeah the walls are paper thin, most of the rooms are connecting but the walls are so thin you could hear everything your neighbor is saying

Location and convenience > fancy hotels. I'd gotten my car the day after I landed but if I hadn't, this hotel was in close vicinity of everything I needed to attend and survive! The hotel staff was friendly. I really do love that it was in walking distance of food, groceries, work, and a couple of gyms on base. It's a dog friendly hotel! They provided grills in their park area shaded by huge trees. The views in the morning and evenings really made me feel happy and peaceful to experience. They have a little convenience store in case you don't feel like walking/driving up the road. Be aware, it's worse than theater prices. Lol. Overall, I had a good stay.

Honestly, one of the worst hotels on a military installation I’ve ever stayed at. My trip currently has me booked here for 2 weeks. The last 4 days there hasn’t been wifi. The front desk continues to say “it should be up soon.” The power will go out at random times and stay off for who knows how long. Also, you get no hair dryer, clothing iron, or dishes. If you want ice you have to walk all the way to the registration desk and they will give you a small bucket of ice. If you need to do laundry, you have to go to the front desk and sign out a laundry card to your room and load money on it. It’s 3$ to wash and 3$ to dry. I thought Marine Corps bases had it the worst as far as lodging goes… but this place easily surpasses those.

The worst hotel I've ever visited. There are roaches all over the place. We used our own towels because the towels were discolored and filthy. (We still got charged for a towel)Yes. They like to charge customers for lost or soiled towels, so keep track of your towels even if you aren't using them. I honestly think they do it to scrape a little money off the top, because they charge for towels but all the ones supplied were old and clearly haven’t been replaced. There is no complementary coffee available. There is no hair dryer in the room. There isn't any iron. Their convenience store is notorious for its ridiculous prices. For soldiers on PCS, you don’t have to choose this one particular, check with your housing office. You will not save any money by staying at this hotel. The majority of TLA-approved hotels were eligible for the full Per Diem and TLA rate. I couldn't believe a facility like this can operate on a military base for years, ripping off soldiers and their families. It's a shame. Overall a very awful experience!

The room was comfortable and price reasonable for the area. It's located close to (walking distance) the gym, Commissary, craft shop, PX, MWR, Class VI. When the cleaning crew came around on day three, all I requested was a wash cloth and they had none. I think you are expected to take one shower daily. All they did was empty the trash cans and left. I was greeted by hair in the shower. It was a task trying to make reservations as the phone kept ringing and then you were placed on hold for a while.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, and consider it to be the best deal on Oahu for those with military privileges. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating and the room was spacious, well equipped for our purposes, and sparkling clean. We've stayed in numerous military hotels around the world and the Inn rates among the best of them.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. I like that the floor is not carpet, it was clean & really pretty inside. I knocked off a star since it took a while to get my deposit back, however the stay overall was great. I’d definitely recommend.

Several problems. 1. Bed is made incorrectly. No top sheet. See pictures. Bottom sheet, then just a blanket on the skin. Then a sheet on top of the blanket. The manager insisted this is fine. She said, "There is no law on how to make a bed." Rude! Bizarre. 2. Manager Dezzri is unprofessional and untrained. While her staff was in blue polo uniform, she was wearing a giant baggy t-shirt with a cat on it. She was rude and dismissive of me. Also, rude to a PV2 in line. Heartbreaking to treat young, inexperienced soldiers that way. His problem was egregious. They overcharged his personal card $1200 and would not refund it. I advised him to call ACS, his credit card company, to contest the charge, and file an IG complaint. 3. The cost for me was 163 plus tax per night for leisure. I can stay at Pagota in Honolulu for the same price. 4. No dishes, silverware, cups, or coffee supplies. Just a lone coffee maker. Useless. 5. No complementary coffee! $2 in lobby only. Tasted good though. My husband is retired 06 and he says DVQ is different. The beds are made correctly.

I’m writing this review because I had a lot of mixed feelings about staying here after all the things I heard from this hotel. My stay was as amazing as it could be. The hotel could definitely use an upgrade but the rooms were super clean and a great size. The housekeeping is always on top of things and very sweet. The staff at the front desk are what made this stay worth it. We stayed here a month and it was such a good stay. Brandy, Monique, Stephanie And all the other ladies at the front thank you for being so amazing and helpful with everything. I definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay again here in a heart beat. Don’t let the reviews fool you and give this place a chance if you need somewhere to stay on base or near base.

Room was okay and fairly clean. Pet friendly so plus. Dead roach stuck to the wall under the thermostat. Got late checkout and explained I was waiting for the mps to come file an unrelated report. Front desk was rude af and told me to finish the report in the parking lot because if I wasn’t out of the room my card was going to be charged.

I’ve been here for 3 weeks so for with my spouse and our 2 dogs. I was worried another staying here due to the Google reviews. However thus far it has been a pleasant experience. I called by phone to make a reservation, it took 3 attempts at different times to get to someone. When I made a reservation I got email confirmation. I did ask if I could get a renovated room (from a military Facebook group). The website was quite vague as far as showing room conditions. I heard I have a partially renovated room. The floors are laminate wood, I believe the bathroom sink and tub might be renovated however it is in good condition minus the shower water pressure being slow. This has been a great place for us and our dogs. We feel safe here and the inn is centrally located close to everything, there’s a park nearby and lots of green space and trash cans for walking my dog. The front desk is open 24 hrs and the shopette is accessible. The landscaping and cleanliness are well maintained. Why 4 stars? It’s not a 5 star hotel. - Two times some of the towels I received were reddish and I asked for new ones, one time I was shorted a towel so I mentioned that and received another. -No printing capability (but the Ed center and library are nearby). - No free coffee. No free breakfast or hot meals at the shopette (or looks like at one point there use to be a cafe in there.) - The shopette prices are up marked- it’s cheaper to go to the commissary. - the bellman’s/luggage cart on arrival were dispersed randomly around the hotel. I suggest making a policy or putting a sign to return them to the elevator. We aren’t done with our stay yet.

Army PCS bare minimum rooms. They are very clean and spacious! The furnishings are dated and perfunctory. Vinyl flooring and very decent beds. The bed pillows are tiny so we bought new pillows and put them in zipper cases to use during our stay. This is no resort, and that justifies the low rates. Exactly what it should be and very central to the Commissary and PX. We have used them during our PCS in and over Christmas for visiting family. Customer service is excellent!

The only good thing about this hotel is the convenience of its location but everything else drowns that out. It is outdated, the rooms come with nothing, if you request extra towels or blankets they’re gone by the next day. The cleaning staff is irregular- never coming at the same time or cleaning the same things. The front desk didn’t tell us the rooms didn’t have hairdryers or anything about the weird laundry set up. Just do yourself a favor and pick anywhere else for your PCS because this hotel is not worth it.

It's not Hilton or Holiday Inn, but it is clean, well maintained, and affordable here in Hawaii. It is used mostly for temporary lodging for military families moving to the area.

They raised our rates 3 days before arriving, housekeeping didn’t come for like 2 weeks but then the front desk called late at night to make a big deal about housekeepings ‘48 hour policy’. So I removed the DND sign and housekeeping came by to just give us new towels. They didn’t make a big deal about not cleaning. A week after checking out they charged our card for over a thousand dollars in fees for ‘furniture destruction and how dirty the room was left’. Unswept is overly dirty? Are they not used to sweeping in between guests? It was really shady and weird they charged us that much without even an email confirming the damages or to even let us know they would be charging us this much. I called and the lady who answered was super unhelpful and all she could do was give us some higher ups email. 100% not worth the price and if you have a car for work, save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else. The wifi is bad also.

When I first arrived there were some issues with my room, but the staff are wonderful. Tanya at the front desk is the best and really went above what would be expected to make our stay great! The rooms have large televisions and it’s a great location for new arrivals. The px, commissary, and everywhere you need to be for in processing are within walking distance. I was also able to walk to a few car dealers nearby to get a vehicle.

The front desk was really nice and the convenience of being right on post are the main pluses. Other than that meh. Beware they charge a 250 refundable fee when you 1st arrive so they can charge you later for damages. They charged us $40 for towels they claimed we damaged although they would give us prestained linens. Bring your own pillows theirs are horrible and the holey blankets need to be replaced. Hopefully my $40 investment will go to buying new blankets 😒🙄

We loved the Inn at Schofield. The rooms (we had 2) were always clean. The floors were cool, as I greatly dislike hotel carpets, so having laminate flooring was perfect for us. It was a quiet place to stay. The parking was nice the location was nice. We loved the staff. The little store there in the office area was so convenient and they had most things you want/need.

If you plan to stay here, please think again. First, when you check in they ask you for security deposit of $250 whether you have a pet or not (we do not). Second, per their instruction, you have to do inventory of the all the items in the room are and check if they operate properly. Our reservation was for 2 nights. However, on the very first night, we noticed that our AC is noisy and we reported it to the front desk. They sent someone to look at it but the guy said that there was nothing he could do about it. We asked the front desk if we could be transferred to another room, but we were told there was non available. So we decided to move out somewhere else. When we checked out the following morning, I asked about my security deposit and was informed that it will be refunded back to my credit card within 5 to 7 days. Twelve days passed, but when I check my credit card, the refund was not there. I called Schofield Inn, and they insisted that I have already been refunded 4 days ago. I called them again after double checking my credit card statement and I was told that it would take another 5 to 10 from the 12 days that I waited. I don't what to say now, I just said that it was just so ridiculous. I guess, I'll just keep on waiting and wish myself good luck.

Unfortunately, it is the ONLY hotel on base. Sadly, we didn’t have a good experience. We had housekeeping come to do our room twice in 8 days and during those times they didn’t make the bed or switch the sheets, they didn’t swept or leave toilet paper. We also asked to have our toilet unclogged and no one showed up, so we ended up buying it ourselves and toilet paper. We also asked for a crib for our 6 month old and the lady said I can’t leave the office and my colleague couldn’t either. I also said my husband could come get it and she said no. I also had a big issue with roaches in our room. Not sure how this hotel passed inspection. Also, the front staff was not friendly. Too bad this is the only place you can stay on base because their prices are outrageous.

Staff is fantastic, rooms are good, location is great. However, for a long stay hotel this location needs some upgrading. Internet is terrible and can’t support the number of guests using it. Even simple web browsing was hit or miss. No business center. Laundry facilities aren’t great. Worth staying here a week or so for in/out processing just because of convenience, but stay elsewhere for a long stay.

Honestly, this place was not bad despite the negative reviews I had initially read about before coming here. It is centrally located on Schofield which made my PCS here very simple. Did not have a car for awhile and everything was walking distance for in-processing, commissary, PX and gym. The restaurant 604 is across the street and offer 10$ pitchers of beer. My room was nice and the staff was very accommodating for when I needed to add more day to more reservation due to waiting on onpost housing.

It’s a decent size room. There is home service every day laundry and dryer. It’s three dollar each and it’s usually busy and most of the time people leave their clothes in the washer ,There is no KitchenAid. There is a microwave and coffee maker. The office have some coffee and snack for sale. The office usually open 24 ,did I like it not really, but it is safe area most of family who staying here waiting for housing and they are army families there’s a lot of retiree too. It’s close to everything ,you can walk to commissary and the PX the gym, and the library and the bawling. It’s all in the corner, so it might make more sense to stay there if you stationed in Schofield Barricks.

Unless you have to stay here, hard pass. Bare minimum in every way. Your items inside your room will go missing and when you contact management, they'll tell you tough luck. Location is decent, but I'd never stay here again based on my poor experience.

We stayed for 3 nights in a fully renovated room. The location is convenient and can’t be beat. Centrally located on the island & walkable to the DFAC and gym. The AC was ice-cold and the beds were comfortable. The room did provide a limited kitchenette with a microwave and mini fridge. There was ample empty cabinet space (no dishes provided). There was a coffee pot but there was no complimentary coffee/coffee filters provided. Some of the towels were older/stained but I had read this in prior reviews so it was not a surprise. The TV had limited channels and had an outdated remote which did not allow you to utilize the “smart TV” features such as Netflix or Hulu. Overall, I would recommend staying here for the value and location. As far as 2-star stays go, The Schofield Inn is among the best.

I was TERRIFIED when I read the reviews and talked to locals about this hotel. I’m please to say that I was 100% relieved that it was nothing like they said. Idk if my room was recently renovated or what but I walked in and was super impressed compared to what I expected. I didn’t see any bugs, mold, mildew, the floors were laminated which was a relief and everything looked super clean. The ONLY thing I could even complain about would be ummmm the rust on the metal surfaces in the bathroom (which should be expected) and that’s reaching for an issue. I’m not saying this is a 5 star hotel but it definitely has improved. All my team members who are in different rooms shared the same feedback. Either they REALLY stepped their game up or my standards are super low. The staff was cool too. I haven’t checked out yet so I’m not sure if I will be charged for “towel damage” but I’ll update if I do.

No breakfast! For the nightly rate they could at least service a hard boiled egg. The rooms are never properly cleaned. Towels are stained and freaking disgusting. No cooking appliances allowed. The staff members are rude. But most of all, things has been stolen from my room and no one seems to care. Also, almost every other day the cheap key card would give out. they tried fixing the problem by taking parts from other rooms. But that still did not help. My inner thigh was bitten but what seemed to be a bed bug. Save your self the stress and tears and just stay somewhere else. FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH AND WORTH! The one star is for the location other than that this motel sucks!

TDLR: Lacking customer service, filthy in-room furniture. If you’re comfortable with the commute, stay at Pearl Harbor NGIS or Best Western Plaza Hotel near the airport, both of which also have TLA rates for folks on military orders. Customer service was severely lacking. The front desk lacked basic amenities like towels, toilet paper, etc. Furniture was filthy in the rooms where my family stayed in 2019 and 2022. The cleaning and pet policies are hostile. The agreements are written as if they want to charge you for any little thing. It gave me the impression they probably deal with a large number of destructive customers. There are nuisance micro-fees for little things like a lost room key ($3), $15 refundable deposit for a laundry smart card and the laundry facilities are $3 for a washer load and $3 for dryer load. The wi-fi was pretty solid. I had a good connection most of the time, whereas other hotels and hospitals often have a spotty, slow connection. Security was obviously not an issue. My deadbolt was broken and maintenance never came during my 10-day stay. Also, if you have a skittish pet or dislike loud noises, beware that garrison fires a cannon right next door during Reveille and Retreat.

    1. Their "kitchenette" is a mini fridge, and microwave. It gets very old eating microwave meals! 2. Must sign back into WiFi when device goes to sleep or when you leave and come back to hotel. This may sound silly to complain about but when you have put the password in 6 times in one day you will understand. 3. Smoking areas badly maintained and filthy. I know this is not a big deal to everyone but smokers are paying just as much to stay at the hotel and deserve equal service. 4. Dryers do not dry clothes all the way. Even with only half a load and on the highest setting.

We recently stayed at this hotel while visiting our son. The room was very clean and spacious. All linens were clean without stains. Staff at the front desk, housekeeping staff, and store staff were always friendly and helpful. We brought our own coffee and creamer, a few snacks, and left the package of coffee filters and paper towels for the next guest. Overall, it was a great place to stay and just down the street from our son's barracks. Would definitely stay here again.
