This place is an awesome little gem in Old Wailuku town. Eating under the banyan tree is a great experience. They have a good variety of standard fare on the menu as well as daily specials which sometimes includes fresh fish. The curries are great, pad Thai and drunken noodle also cooked to perfection. I also like the chicken ginger stir fry and fried rice. Oh, and the service...super friendly and accommodating. You gotta check this place out when you need your next Thai food fix.

Tried this food truck by chance on our last day in Maui. Amazing food, quality and customer service. Portions were very big. There was 4 of us in our group and we all agreed it was as good as a high end restaurant. Not sure if we’ll ever visit Maui again but if we do, it’ll be our first stop out of the airport. I had the yellow curry with chicken and it was 👌🏼

this place is so cute and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I ordered my boyfriend food for our long distance valentine’s day meal, he loves every single thing i got him. i even called since i couldn’t see them on uber eats and they turned it on for me, which is so kind of them and quite amazing. I love this business and nothing but good vibes to the owners and workers. they even put the heart that i asked them to!! but back to the food. we got the hot eggplant thai basil with shrimp, coffee with coconut milk, and spring rolls. he said everything was so flavorful especially the eggplant dish (the spice builds then goes away). he also loved the coffee since he is a black coffee type of guy. overall will be going back here again!! thank you guys so much for making our valentine’s day special<3 mahalo:)

I’ve been to a few Thai places on the island and have enjoyed this place the most. The shrimp were delicious and medium spice was perfect for me. The green papaya salad when ordered medium was on the edge of hot but clearly not Thai medium. Prices are good, staff is friendly and the quality of the food is really great. Please continue to support this business!

I'm a Door dash driver I picked up an order it smelled so good in my car I had to try for myself. Had the yellow curry and it was out of this world good and by far the best price Thai food on the island. Corner of Market st and vineyard

I'll be perfectly honest, as a former brick and mortar restaurant owner, food trucks are a bit sketchy to me. However, This place does things right. All the way down to the napkin wrapped fork. My wife and I had their chicken Pad Thai and it was a "10" ! A really healthy portion of delicious food for a very reasonable price. The food was steaming hot and garnishing like you'd find in sit down joint. Thai is one of our favorite cuisines and this is our new favorite place to get it! Mahalo Nui Loa! If Thai food is your thing, you'd be doing yourself a great injustice by not giving HI Thai a try.

The owners are great people serving up even greater Thai food. Highly recommend the pork belly and egg plant and their mango rice! Thai spicy is really spicy so I get normal spicy. Check them out!

I would put 4.2 starts, but didn’t have the option. Not the best Thai food truck on islands, but pretty good. I ordered papaya salad and drunken noodles, portions were big and fresh, but noddles were little be too dry, and need much more sauce.

My FAVORITE food truck because their food is so delicious!! Don't expect an extensive menu but do expect some tasty noms that are freshly prepared (expect to wait). Parking is difficult, it is worth the walk either from the municipal lot (when it's reopened) or from the lot across the street behind the old theater. Service is friendly and as quick as they can dish stuff out. Cool vibes under the banyan with a few tables and there's live music on Friday's!! Would recommend ordering ahead online. HI Thai for life!

Awesome food! We ordered green papaya salad and spicy green curry which made for a hearty last lunch in Hawaii. Absolutely loved the flavors. Must try!

Huge portion!! Best drunken noodles I’ve ever had! So full of flavor but not too greasy. Delicious!

I am a Thai and I have tested the other Thai food trucks on Maui. This is by far the best and most authentic! Really, really original Thai Food taste and amazing location- also good value for money. Highly recommend!

The best food on this island is often found at the food truck scenes. This is a perfect example. 😁 Get the pork belly basil special when it's available.

So good! Had green papaya salad and fried tofu. Everything was delicious and fresh and I appreciate the portion size. I will be back.

The drinks very good! However I can't say the same about the food. The flavor was not there, not what I was expecting. Wasn't flavorful, I had high expectations from the reviews. Maybe the fried or Pad Thai would be better.

Very happy that we found this gem on Maui. My wife and I took a vacation in January and went to a lot of different places to eat and this was hands down the best food we had on island. We actually went twice during our trip and both times were incredible. And that is a huge indicator of a phenomenal place - consistency! We are very much looking forward to our return trip to not only Maui but this food truck as well. Mahalo!

Delicious and highly recommended. I don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about, this is worth a visit! We ordered the coconut curry and pad thai and were very impressed. It was reasonably priced and generous portions. The service was fabulous and there were benches and tables to eat at. We will return here!

We love thai food and couldn't pass up the opportunity to get thai food on a food truck in Maui! It's a must! The pork belly is to die for. We also got the special, pumpkin garlic shrimp, so so tasty and i haven't ever had anything like it! Get the thai iced tea with coconut milk, it's fabulous!

Hidden gem in Wailuku. This authentic Thai food truck is definitely underrated. The plate lunches are full of flavor, it packs a punch. Never disappointed whenever I stop by. Super friendly customer service and cute little out door seating area under a banyan tree.

Veggie friendly! Generous portions and delicious (coming from a SEAsian!) I asked for an fried egg and that they graciously gifted to me. Lovely to sit in the park and enjoy the breeze and eat.

Great Thai Option, 10 mins away from the airport. The Banyan Tree is majestic, reminds me of home. I asked for a side of peanut sauce and it was heavenly. Tables and benches for seating, lots of fresh air. Perfect spot for lunch/dinner.

Excellent local Thai food spot. We ordered the curry, drunken noodle and papaya salad. Food was authentic and good portion. Good value. There are street parkings nearby. There are few tables for outdoor seating. We went on Saturday and there was a live band playing music. We will be back.

Amazing thai food selection and nice patio/park. Big portions and bubble tea was good too.
