Had my hair done at SLA salon by Anna Chan. It was probably the best color and cut I have ever received.

Lace install/Touch up: My initial install lasted 4 weeks. The glue she uses is amazing. I’m currently preparing for a touch up and I’m sure it’ll last a while again. The lace remover she sells is another winner, it lifted the lace in less than 5 minutes. If you can’t find time to book with her, do yourself a service and get her glue and glue remover.

Orders are always shipped on time. I had been buying her products since we both lived in Colorado Springs, CO and I am still a loyal customer.

Had a ok experience. The stylist was way too rough with my natural hair and it took 6 hours to get a sew in. I was happy with the results but I want my natural hair to keep length retention. I will become bald before my 5th appointment.

Karla is my go to girl! Booked and paid online. I am a natural curly with extreme shrinkage. She tackled my curls and laid my hair down, and didn't charge an arm, leg, and 1st born! Will be back.

Had a great experience at SLA. Got extensions by Slim. She was very sweet and funny, and did an amazing job!

I’ve been once but have an upcoming reservation ! The owner alone is such an amazing person. Karla was my stylist. She was so thorough and sweet . My sew in was sooo nice! I also purchased hair bundles and they’re some of the best I’ve had !

Slim is great!!!Excellent service, such a great vibe, beautiful aesthetic. I come here once a week. Always brings my visions to life and makes it even better than I expected! Her assistant karla is awesome as well. Love the energy!

I booked with Slim and had an amazing experience. She actually cared about treating my natural hair. I enjoyed everything from the wash and install. I left feeling more confident . I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time at this salon, and I am beyond impressed! A great plus is they do offer walk-ins, but it will be better to book an appointment. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the cleanliness of the salon, and I was very comfortable the whole time. Everyone was so positive and welcoming, not to mention very knowledgeable about hair. They were able to answer any question I had, and they offer a variety of services, all listed on their website along with prices. All in all, I think I've found my salon! Anna has been my Hairstylist since I’ve been on the island and have not let anyone else touch my hair since!!! My go to salon with my favorite hair stylist, Anna! Conveniently located in the heart of Wahiawa, this place is definitely a vibe. I have been going to Anna for the past couple years. She never disappoints and knows exactly how to make me walk out of there feeling like a beauty queen! Hands down, one of the best in the business!!

So I have been going to Slim since 2016 when she first came to Hawaii. I was natural for a few years but couldnt take it anymore considering she was the only person I trusted with my hair. I relaxed it! 😭😭😭😭 anyways, she is talented, professional, and the best in Hawaii! BOOK HER OR BE SORRY!

Horrible customer service! The owner kept fighting with another worker and being extremely rude. I felt like slim (the owner) was taking her aggression out on my hair. When my hair was finally done it was way too tight. If you own a shop you should know when you are braiding too tight *hello Tylenol and bye to my edges*.I do not recommend this place at all!!!!!! The owner had bad energy and is rude to her clients and workers.

This Salon is SOO welcoming!!! I got a balayage by Anna & let me say she ate & left no crumbs lol. Im post partum & breastfeeding my baby , she made sure I ate while i was getting my hair done & constantly made sure l didnt need anything, I would definitely be comming back. She made it her priority that I left feeling the BEST version of myself. I looked completely different & I LOVED IT. 10000/10000 recommend.

I haven’t been to a salon in over 7yrs 🫣 it’s really hard trusting you’ve found the right stylist. When I came across Slims IG (@slimslayshair) I couldn’t help but notice how passionate she was about hair. Every post had me like wow “amazing” and she seemed to have a good heart. That’s what brought me in. 🫀 Today, I received a Brazilian blowout and we cut sum bangsss! Saying goodbye to my curly frizzy unmanageable hair! Anna never fails. Let me just tell you that. I always come out of the salon looking SO good. I’ve been going to Anna since 2019 and let me just tell you, SHE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I always tell her want I would like my hair to look like and she always pulls through. Plus she’s hilarious.

Ana is the best. I have been going to her to get my hair done since long before she joined SLA Salon. I had to move to the mainland 2 years ago, and recently came back for vacation in HI, and I couldn't go back to the mainland without seeing Anna. She did a miracle in my hair. She is so sweet, takes time to hear you, and she makes you feel comfortable and confident. I recently gave birth to a baby boy and since then I have not had the time to go to a salon and spend hours to get my hair done. Anna listened to me and fix my hair (did a balayage, took care of my roots/gray hair, cut it, styled it...) in a time record, since I had a baby waiting for me, and she saw me at the last minute, since I messaged her with just a few days left on the island. She will do everything to accommodate you and you will leave the salon looking gorgeous. If you have been looking for a hairdresser, Anna is your girl!
