Normally I don't use my account for reviews but as a food critic this was one of the worst experiences, no greeting once we entered the premises, and also felt uncomfortable me and my wife set at a table and then we've got told that this table has been reserved. And also we got told that we don't have to reserve a table you can go sit anywhere we paid so much for the meal but the experience was disgusting. As a food critic and a blogger, I would not recommend anyone to go here. Honestly, they don't even deserve 1 star.

A small group of friends booked a table at the Bistro for a Sunday Lunch and get-together. The booking was for an entree, a main meal and a dessert. Following the order, the main meal came first after a longish period of time and the "entree", which turned out to be bread and dip, arrived during the eating of the main meal. Not the service I would expect from a well-known restaurant. Not a venue I would recommend.

Came here on a wine tasting tour with a small group. It was the only place that we had the tasting standing (and in the foyer??) and it seemed very rushed, and like we just had to down our wine and move on to the next one. Lunch was very good however and the garlic bread was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered an iced coffee and the coffee shot was terribly burnt and undrinkable. Not a great first experience here

Great food in a great setting! Eveyone enjoyed their meals. Only gripe is it took nearly an hour from ordering to service and I had chosen an early lunch time hoping to avoid this but was a very big group in as well. Would have appreciated the heads up for delays

Overall the service and meal was good. Initial service took a little longer than we would have wanted, but after the first plate came out it was quick, though drinks were a bit slow all the way through. Most frustrating was that we ordered off the set menu, and it did not list main ingredients, so we ordered a meal that we thought was allergy safe, and then it got served up, with one of the main features of the meal being this allergen so we could no longer eat it. The set menu also did not offer many options in terms of allergens, even though we got told it was our only menu option when booking.

I went to Soljans for their October champagne brunch special. Damn, was that some good food and drink! I had the French toast which was a lovely mix of sweet, tangy and savory flavors. Best French toast I have had in a long time! My wife had the eggs Benedict and had a similar level of enjoyment! I would highly recommend a trip out there but beware, you might also end up buying some great wine from their vineyard shop.

Great venue for a group celebration. We had excellent time to celebrate our birthday party. Staff very friendly & efficient.....menu selections was yummy. Definitely coming back for another group function

By far the best winery we stopped at on our mini wine tour. Delicious wine and knowledgeable staff. Thanks Tyler for the tasting. We will be back.

Visited today & met the famous Tony who is a total legend - he managed to find room for our family group which included my 90 'something' year young Mother in Law ☺️ We all had lovely meals & beautiful wine, the staff are all so friendly, helpful & very pleasant to deal with. Thank you all very much - Highly recommend A++++

I had a lovely afternoon at Soljans Estate Winery 😍 Unfortunately the restaurant was closed 🚫 when I reached, because they only serve breakfast and lunch 🍽 It was quite disappointing, because I've been wanting to come for ages 🙁 I wouldn't think 3pm is too late, but apparently it is Luckily their cellar door was still open, and I was able to take part in a wine tasting 🍷and a peak in their cellar 👀, so it wasn't a complete bust The lady was very friendly 😊 and knowledgeable, telling me about 100 year old wines in their cellar that is turned by hand 🤚 I enjoyed the port the most. It's quite sweet, and you can definitely taste the sultanas 🍇

Good food at normal restaurant prices. Nice setting. Very friendly gentleman who I presume was the manager. I did a little wine tasting after lunch and got a very nice bottle of Riesling

Staff were friendly, relaxing environment. We ordered a mix of the small and large plates, all were good to great in taste. Proportion were all reasonable.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. The wine trio is a great way to try their selection of wines and their mains are tasty and well presented!

Seriously recommend. Staff amazing, there's a new menu and chef and no one had any complaints. Will definitely be going back. Also the best garlic bread I have ever had

Friendly, efficient staff. Especially enjoyed the Pork Belly with perfect crackling. Duck Breast not quite what I thought it would be, but still tasty and nicely presented. Very nice surroundings and perfect for a relaxing afternoon ic you want to incorporate some wine tasting.

We hadn't been for a few years but Soljans had always been very good. Called in today for lunch impromptu and we were both super impressed. The fish of the day was a snapper /risotto dish essentially. The fish was cooked to perfection and the flavours were superb. We also had dessert, coffee and a glass of wine all of which were excellent. We will definitely be back and would recommend it. The staff and service was also faultless

Nice vineyard with lots of spread out seating and a small grassy patch with petanque and a small house for kids. The wine range is great and you can pay 15$ to try three from their menu. They come with a little card so you can take your time and taste and relax
