The
sleep
psychologist
that
worked
with
me
was
fantastic;
approachable,
educating,
and
realistic
about
what
is
needed
and
possible.
Dan
figured
out
what
my
main
issue
was
right
off
the
bat
and
after
a
couple
of
months
coaching
(and
some
mahi
on
my
end
-
change
is
never
effortless)
I'm
now
sleeping
a
healthy
amount,
with
strategies
in
place
to
help
me
back
when
sleep
goes
awry
again.
But
its
not
just
that.
Dan
helped
me
get
free
from
the
guilt
of
being
a
bad
sleeper,
like
it
was
some
sort
of
failing.
And,
even
better,
I'm
now
free
of
having
to
plan
my
entire
evening
around
trying
to
get
to
sleep.
It
was
such
a
psychological
burden.
Getting
rid
of
that
is
probably
equally
relieving
as
actually
getting
the
extra
sleep.
You
do
NOT
need
to
live
constantly
sleep
deprived!
It
is
NOT
normal.
Seriously,
I
didn't
realise
how
much
it
had
dampened
my
mood
until
after
I
got
consistently
improved
sleep.
