I had a delightful experience at this cafe! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit. The menu had a great variety of delicious options, and the food was prepared with skill and care. I especially loved their signature coffee blend - it was rich and flavorful. The cafe also had a nice selection of desserts that satisfied my sweet tooth. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience."

Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it’s all at an affordable price. I ordered the French toast, it was super delicious and the coffee was perfect. This cafe has spacious kids playground area, and also pet friendly. Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.

This place has great potential but unfortunately was quite disappointed on the day we visited. I carefully choose this cafe for my birthday brunch with family as it was child friendly and has a play area which is important to me when trying to eat out with a toddler. I booked in advance for 11 people and specifically requested an outside table near the playground so I could watch my daughter play while also enjoying brunch. One of the bench seats at our table was rotting/being eaten by something and had chunks missing out of it. The play area wasn't much better, the gate was broken, the 4 bikes were all broken and unusable/unsafe with bent/broken and missing wheels. There was no signage or notices for parents to supervise their children while playing and with 5 big kids playing rough and swinging/throwing things around unsupervised it ended up being too dangerous for the two toddlers in there and I pulled my daughter out after the other toddler was kicked in the head by one the big kids. The service was slow and we were at our table 20 minutes before someone came to take orders and only then did they tell us they were very short staffed that day while all the tables were still being filled up. Once our food and drink orders had been taken it was another 40 minutes before some of our food and drinks started to come out, it didn't all arrive together was spread out over about 15 minutes so some of us were eating/drinking and some were not, my drink didn't show up until after most of the table had finished. The saving grace for us though was that the food was quite good, only change we would make is skipping the side of bacon for $6 as it was a single slice of bacon.

This hidden gem in Te Atatu is a delightful cafe. My friend and I initially went for coffee but couldn't resist having brunch due to the fantastic food quality and generous portions. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it perfect for meeting friends or bringing your family. Plus, the spacious outdoor area and kids' playground are a great bonus for parents. Highly recommended!

"Delicious" is an overstatement. Ordered 2 breakfasts and hotcakes between two people, which came to $80 plus (including coffee). The breakfasts were both on the small side (rosti was more of a medallion, small sausages, small pieces of bacon) and hotcakes were not 'hot' at all. Beautifully plated lukewarm cakes are what we received. I asked for extra butter as the breakfast came with barely enough butter for one piece of toast (came with two large pieces of toast-everything else on the plate was on the small size) and was told extra butter was going to cost extra. Paying $25 for a very mediocre breakfast and then getting told butter would cost extra was extremely stingy, especially when what I asked for wasn't extra but just enough for the two pieces of toast they gave me. This was my second time here, the first time I ordered eggs bene and the eggs were so overcooked but I decided to give them another try as I was told their normal chef had called in sick that day. Two disappointing visits here for me. I really wanted to like this place but the stinginess truly soured my experience.

This cafe offers a delightful experience for all ages. Their outdoor seating area provides a refreshing spot to enjoy your coffee, and the well-equipped kids playing area keeps the little ones happily engaged. Perfect for families and friends alike!

Pet friendly, great for after a walk in the area, dog water bowls available. Lovely sunny outdoor seating in through the back of the cafe. Beautiful food presentation.

Don’t order the Salmon Eggs Bene, unless you want to pay $23 for a child-sized meal!!! Mini rosti’s, served with next to no salmon, a spoonful of cooked spinach spread between two portions & a couple of poached eggs! Super disappointing when cheaper meals on the menu filled the plates & the bellies of our guests who ate them! Only positive were the young ‘rather cool & quirky’ staff members who attentively cared for our table & represented what they had to serve (despite our clear disappointment) with a smile!! We used to visit here regularly always bringing friends & family with us - we wont be coming back! Such a shame..

Great friendly staff. The salmon eggs bene was a disappointment as it was about a teaspoon of salmon… worst portion size I have had in a long time when eating out for brunch… especially for the price of $23… should be around $15 if that’s the portion of the salmon.

I'm a frequent visitor to this Cafe, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, whether it's morning coffee with Breakfast or afternoon Lunch. The addition of Sheesha nights has been a brilliant move, adding a new dimension to the already cozy ambiance. The staff here deserves special praise for their friendliness and efficiency. But what truly sets this cafe apart is their remarkable bar! As a fan of good drinks, I'm thrilled by the diverse selection they offer. From classic favourites to unique concoctions, their drinks never fail to impress. Don't miss the chance to enjoy their delightful food, Sheesha nights, and of course, the fantastic bar! Prepare to be delighted. 🍹🍽️😊

What a treat! Just moved to the Peninsula and thought I'd check the food out immediately. This smashed avo on toast is just divine! The Dukkah and sun-dried tomatoes really give it that extra oomph. Also, the courtyard is super cute, spacious, and sunny. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

A massive thank you to Rammi & the team who made it an easy, stress free night when deciding to hold our function at the Delicious Cafe. Great venue, with space for everyone & great food + drink options. Our family & friends not only had a brilliant time but also were very impressed with the venue, food & drinks. Had a 30th Celebration with Delicious Bistro and we were delighted with the party. They were very welcoming, easy to deal with. Customer service was exceptional, and the staff were nothing short of amazing. We will definitely recommend Delicious Bistro for an event.

During the few times I've dined here with my family, I've found the food to be quite enjoyable. The establishment boasts a charming outdoor area that's perfect for summer brunches, and they also provide heaters for evening functions and dinners. However, it would enhance the overall experience if the waitstaff wore more smiles, as it can make a significant difference in creating a more welcoming atmosphere.

This beautiful cafe is like home to us. Many happy memories have been shared here. Weddings, 21st, Goodbyes, Birthdays and many more. The staff are amazing, and the atmosphere is like walking into a summers day. We travel down from Whangarei, but we always come home to this cafe.

Thanks so much for an amazing evening for my 50th Birthday! We all had a wonderful time and thoroughly recommend your venue for functions. We had a little trouble with our music, but have worked out now that the laptop chord was faulty, so not your fault at all. Also, thanks so much for listening when we asked you to work to the back areas of the rooms and to get the food around all the guests. The guests all commented on how delicious the food was and how well fed they all were. One little thing, I recommend you make sure whoever is serving knows which dishes are GF or not. I also 100% recommend your mixologist. The cocktails were divine and very popular!

What an amazing cute little hideaway on the peninsula. Amazing friendly staff were great at making us feel welcome and settled. They were busy at the time , but were very good at communicating there could be a little wait, which we didn’t mind as the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Oh and the coffee is the bomb !!! 😋

First time diner. I don't know why? Ended up here by accident and boy was not disappointed at all. Exceeded expectations. Michelin star chef. 🌟 will be back very soon. I be sure to try the coffee next time. Might be my new local.

We had the best experience here for our private event. The food, ambience and customer service was outstanding. A special mention to the venue manager, Rammi, for his professionalism and great communication whilst we were organising our event. Thank you Rammi for taking great care of us, you made the whole booking process so easy and made our private event run smoothly. The chef and waitstaff were all lovely and went above and beyond for us. I cannot recommend this venue enough, it is such a hidden gem. Thank you again to Rammi and his staff at the delicious cafe for your amazing customer care and service.

Little too expensive for me but eggs and toast was ok but didnt understand the orange paste, I believe it was pesto? But still very nice eggs. Coffee was nice, banana smoothie had too much vanilla powder.

This cafe lives up to it's name. The food IS delicious. Well-worth the money if you ask me. There's a playground for kids. Overall, a good range of choices. Juices and shakes are excellent. As a Wellingtonian, I can confirm the coffee is top-notch. I highly recommend.

Coffee was good, the menus said the Omelette had what looked like shaved ham from the supermarket, not ham cut from the bone like the menu said. I was disappointed so mentioned it to the staff who said she would tell the chef. Later as we paid I asked for a response, but she hadn’t even told the chef. I feel a little let down. I never complain and maybe I’m too nice. Maybe I complained too politely?? I tried to look it up on line but the menus on line is different from the one in the cafe too.
