Can't wait to go back to try more. Very reasonable prices and very yummy food. The service was phenomenal as well. I can't remember the name of what I ordered the server suggested it some type of spicy ground chicken dish. It was crazy good! My meal was 13 dollars came with a side and fed me twice.

Lemongrass is a great place for Thai food. They have something for everyone in the menu. We will typically order out from there on a weeknight and it rarely takes them more than a half hour and it’s consistently tasty. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but not overcrowded with tables so it’s still intimate. I like the Hai Lum chicken. My vegetarian daughter says their fried tofu is the best.

Don’t overlook this place! It’s a great little Thai spot. Decent prices with a great lunch special and good food! The yellow curry and pad Thai were great! Definitely worth trying and will be back again

This has been my go-to Thai spot for the last year, since moving into my new place. Last few times I've been haven't been great, and I'm so sad about it 😩 I can't cook Thai on my own so I really need a solid spot for my fix. Portion sizes have gotten smaller and use of ingredients in their signature dishes has become inconsistent. Today I was craving red curry but it didn't have all the usual veggies (no basil leaves or red peppers) and the sauce was severely lacking flavor depth. I did order take out, but shouldn't effect taste that much. I plan to return, but will consider some other options before deciding on this place. Inside is very nice and intimate. The employees have always been so kind. I really want it to be better!

Good food. Pad Thai with shrimp was great, plenty of shrimp, one order is enough for 2 people. Ebi shumai and fresh spring rolls didn't disappoint either. I really didn't like the sauces that those dishes came with, they are on the sweet side and very oily. Edamame was good as well, not too salty.

Literally shocked at the good reviews on this place. I feel like I was reading comments from a different restaurant. Probably the worst Thai food I've ever had. So unfortunate.

It was a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. We were in the mood for some Thai and realized we hadn’t found a decent Thai spot in Raleigh. In came Lemongrass Thai Restaurant. Not too far from downtown Raleigh in a small shopping mall. Upon entry we were greeted by a friendly staff and sat inside, but there was seating outside as well. They had a good sized menu with a variety of options. During lunch they have a great special for $11. Entree with a side of your choice and a soft drink. They also have great spices and sauces to allow you to spice or tang up your food. This is easily the best Thai spot we have been to in Raleigh.

I have been here twice now and their green chicken curry is a real winner. Love the flavor and normal spiciness level. I also would recommend gyoza and the crab wontons. Can’t really go wrong with the “staples” here in my opinion so far. I dined in once and got take out the other time and both experiences were fantastic but I highly recommended actually dining in for the ambiance.

Ordered from here in April and they MAKE you pay with door dash. Now somehow they sold or stole my credit card info because I just realized over the past few months door dash has been charging my card random amounts that accrued to over 150$ dollars in fraud. Had to call and get a new credit card. Why don’t they just accept regular credit cards that are chip protected??? Ridiculous and such a hassle because I ate there once. Food is decent.

Highly recommend getting take out from here, but not dining-in -- only reason I'm docking the star. The dine-in atmosphere is ~extremely~ informal (not to mention a small dining room), with takeout orders coming in and out the door. However, every time we've ordered from here the food is consistently good in taste & flavor. The shrimp shumai & pad thai are sure-fire winners.

I’m Thai who love to eat Thai food almost every day and my American husband who loves Thai food recommend everyone who wants to experience tasty Thai basil dishes. I had Salmon basil sauce and my husband had chicken fried rice with basil 🌿I couldn’t believe that I finished everything, I usually eat half food and take the rest for to go. Do not forget to try Chicken Satae for Appetizer!!!!

The food at Lemongrass was amazing! The grilled chicken satay was so tasty, and the crab Rangoon was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The chicken red curry and the chicken green curry were divine; even the peanut sauce was delicious. We were extremely impressed with how delightful the flavors were, and look forward to our next visit - because my daughter couldn’t get enough of the Thai ice tea! 😋

So good! It was my first visit, and I will be back! The food was fantastic! There were a lot of people picking up takeout. A dozen or more! That spoke volume to me also. The waiter was polite and helpful when I was ordering. I had lots of questions. I like that you can control the spiciness when ordering. A plus, for sure. We even enjoyed the fried banana and ice cream for dessert. All good. No complaints here!

Overall taste was pretty good but it got 4 stars only bc the portion was so small. Kinda disappointed. Left me still hungry

I had a great time at Lemongrass Thai Restaurant! The Shrimp Shumai was an excellent appetizer, and the green curry was definitely the standout dish for me - it was absolutely delicious. While the red curry was also good, I didn't care for the yellow curry as much. My son ordered a seafood dish and he loved it, so it seems like there's something for everyone on the menu. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, but what really made our experience great was the friendly staff and fast service. I appreciated how accommodating they were and how quickly they were able to get our orders to us. Overall, I highly recommend Lemongrass Thai Restaurant for anyone looking for a tasty Thai meal with great service.

Good portion sizes and lots of kick for a level 2 spice. The pineapple fried rice actually has a perfect amount of egg in it. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

I haven't had Thai food in a while. It was great! I ordered the sauteed chicken with fresh ginger lunch special with the egg roll. For my drink I ordered a Thai tea. It was something different. I was pleasantly surprised.

Something in my heart told me not to GO HERE! Never will I AGAIN! Shocked it has these high ratings! This diner will not accommodate customers, meaning if you order fried rice and a meat that they serve like chicken or duck, they will tell you they cannot combine the two, instead of making it work, I suggest going to Goji Bistro, now they are a 5 star diner they will give the customer what they want in any combination they ask for, not FORCE you to order what they want you to eat, like Lemongrass, Needs better customer service, also never gave me correct order, meaning they forgot MY SHRIMP and fried rice that I ordered. No point in having food to serve if you are not going to SERVE it RIGHT!

This is the only place in Raleigh that has been able to give the appropriate level of Thai hot/spicy to their dishes. Maintains incredible flavor and really increases the spice level. Incredible food. The cashew nut chicken and the spicy beef salad are my favorites.

I drove pretty far to get here because of the good reviews and was disappointed. It's a hole in the wall, definitely more of a takeout place than dine in. I was hoping the food would impress me but it didn't. The menu felt limited. Normally you can choose different meats or tofu with a dish, but most dishes only offered chicken. I'm not vegetarian but I like having the option, yet the only vegetarian dish on the menu was sauteed vegetables. I went with the pad Thai, which was bland.

We were late to get there for lunch (10 minutes to close). We were ready to just do a take out but they were very nice to let us eat there. Service was very good. Good was delivered in good time. As far as quality of food, it was good. She was able to change chicken red curry to shrimp red curry. Taste fantastic. I didn't like that iced tea. It was not bad, it was just not my taste (do that is not an issue). Very nice service by very nice people. I recommend them for both service and food.

Very good Thai food! Will definitely come back! The two ladies serving us were very nice. They are low staffed, so it was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. We ordered the fried tofu and pad Thai with chicken substituted for the shrimp. We loved the sauce that came with the crispy noodles and the fried tofu.
