Let's just talk about donut perfection for a second. If you have been sleeping on this place, just don't. The drop every donut the second you order it and add whatever toppings accordingly. They are given to you still warm. No sitting on a shelf. No put on a truck delivered to the location. Made for you fresh at the time you order. Incredible.

Fresh and delicious donuts. Many toppings to choose. Kids will enjoy watching at how donuts are made and coming out in a line. Expect a bit delay to pick up your order as donuts are made to order and served warm. Worth waiting and the donuts will never disappoint you.

Last Sunday we put an order for 1 dozen holiday mix and 1/2 doz glazed For a holiday party To be picked up at 4 o’clock And I was running late and showed up at 4:17 Already behind planning to just grab my donuts and go. But when I arrived the manager Tristan informed me that someone else had picked up my donuts. He insinuated that Someone may have picked them up for me but I told him I wasn’t sure how that could happen since nobody knew I was buying donuts. Unless There was someone who was out there reading my mind. And just had a hankering for donuts that day. So he looked at me and said “I guess I’m going to have to make them again?” Well yeah! I paid for them! There were signs everywhere informing pick up orders that they must sign in order to recieve their order. When I pointed that out Tristan said that only pertains to delivery drivers such as DoorDash or Uber eats. At this point I was getting angry because I was already late and I suspect that they had just not made my order to begin with And we’re making up this mysterious person who supposedly picked up my donuts. So While I waited I asked Tristan if I could get a complementary mocha latte since I had to wait on my donuts. He said no he could not give me a free coffee or he would be in trouble. I asked him if he was the manager as he said how was it that he could not give me a free cup of coffee? I do believe if he had given me the cup of coffee and just apologized I would not be leaving this review right now. But he refused and was very rude. He even Followed me out into the parking lot to yell at me and my husband while we were getting into the car. Finally I got my donuts which were hastily put together on hot donuts the glaze melted off and was a hot sticky red and green mess by the time I got to my party. 2 inch thick pools of glaze surrounded each donut. Nobody was impressed. Least of all me. So now I will not be going back to duck donuts. It was a bad idea anyway because donuts are not good for you. It’s basically like serving your friends a bunch of poison. But I wanted to support a small business and I was excited about the idea of holiday themed desserts. But I have learned my lesson well. Mostly I believe Duck donuts should think about changing their policy so that anyone picking up togo orders should be required to sign or show the order number. And Tristan should not be a manager. Even a manager at a donut shop. He needs some more customer service training.

I love that I can watch my donuts being created! My all time favorite is the Maple Bacon donut.

First time having these donuts and wow were these donuts yummy! Each donut was cake like with every bite. Instead of having a dense, traditional donut texture these donuts were light, fluffy and easy to devour. All of the donuts were equally delicious and frosted right in front of you. My favorite would have to be the Spider Web donut with cinnamon sugar and a vanilla drizzle.

If you like cake donuts, this is a winner. We have tons of great options for donuts in the area and we keep coming back here. I love some of the savory options and my kids love the more traditional and sweet tasting options. We also love to watch the donuts coming off the line! Decent coffee too.

Had to pick my nephew up from the bus stop last week and my sister lives right around the corner from this location. They weren't very busy and was able to get me in and out in no time. As always they didn't disappoint and my nephew was happy he was able to get some donuts for him and his brother..

Great place, we heard about it on a story walk for our young son in a park in Cary near Apex. Free donut coupon so we had to try. Coffee was delicious and the donut (we got a maple bacon) was superb. Served warm and in premium packaging. Many folks were picking up multiple donuts as we were coming and going. The inside had a very Austin tx vibe (but less grunge). Nice area too. Will come again. Hope they expand south!

I tried donuts here got the first time. Wanted to have donut and found them on Google. I am glad I went to try this place. Their donuts are so fresh, soft and tasty. I loved every bite of it. Highly recommended this place for anyone wanting to try donuts.

So I am a delivery driver and I have ordered from here before. My first experience with duck donuts was ordering a full dozen, and they only sent half a dozen. My other experiences with them. Have been mostly pick ups for DoorDash. They have been incredibly rude and just overall not very welcoming. I’ve had my share of bad experiences at places, but I hate picking up from the location on Wrenn Dr in Cary NC. Hopefully the team members can learn some customer service and treat people with respect and kindness.

I had a small issue with an order but the store owner was quick to fix the problem. The donuts are great and the orders are made quickly. Great place to get a breakfast treat.

The shop needs cleaning, floors are dirty chairs. Makes wonder if it clean where the donuts are made. Also the bench you sit on and wait for your donuts is a couple of inches from a trash can.

SO good! Stopped by on a Saturday morning, with a pre-order and it was ready to go upon arrival! Clean environment, 6 team members working + having fun (joking amongst one another to get through the small pop. Benches while you wait for your donuts, viewing window for the tiny humans to watch the process of creating your signature donut. When your order is ready, the team member calls you by the number, which is listed at the top of your receipt. Great location, absolutely will return!

Duck donuts is a true gem. The donuts are made to order, always warm, and absolutely irresistible. The variety of toppings is endless, allowing for countless delicious combinations. It’s a sweet paradise that never disappoints.

The donuts here are very unique in flavors which are delicious. They remind me more of a dessert because the donuts seem to be more heavy cake like instead of airy and light that other donut shops have. When I have brought them to meetings, everyone gravitates towards the Duck Donuts box and dives right in. I like the cookies and cream one the best.

The absolute best donuts around! I used to go to the original location in Duck, NC growing up on family vacations. I hadn’t been in years and was curious if the quality would be as good now that they are a large chain and this was a different location. Absolutely delivered with great donuts and fast service!

Very fair like. Doughnuts are made fresh in front of you, which is super fun for kids. The smell, of the place is phenomenal. Their donuts are like a cake batter that reminds me of the state fair funnel cake, it is a must try it. I would recommend to go with more simple toppings, the aggressive flavors overpower the actual doughnut. Very friendly staff.☺️

No one can beat the variety and quality of Duck Donuts. I got the Blueberry Lemonade, Cookies and Cream, The Flip-flop, French Toast, The Boardwalk, and a Strawberry Confetti. They were all amazing and completely different in taste and texture.

I came to Duck Donuts after a very long time. This was just my second time going when I went yesterday afternoon. It is located in Cary on Wrenn Drive near the post office. The store was pretty busy. People were coming in and out…constant flow of people. There was only one person at the counter taking orders. I believe his name was Tristan. He was very helpful and understanding. I had never ordered multiple doughnuts or at least not in a long time so it was new to me. It was taking me longer to order than most people and he still kept his cool for the most part which I get. The place was really busy. I saw they had caffeine free chamomile tea which I love. I was having trouble opening the box to get an individual tea bag out. He could see I was struggling and told me how to get it out. I also that that it was nice to be able to get your individual tea bag out and steep it especially during Covid-19. I went back to order hot chocolate for my Mom and realized I couldn’t find my credit card. I was really panicked. I asked around at the area where they make the doughnut assembly and the guy there said he can ask around. After looking all over, I went back to Travis to ask if he gave me my credit card back or by mistake still had it. He seemed slightly upset and said, “We don’t keep credit cards.” When I sat in my car, I found fit. What a relief. I called the store back an hour later, and explained what happened to the girl that picked up and to thank Travis for all his help. If I could I would give this place more than 5 stars! I will def be back. Great food, made fresh and to custom order. Very friendly staff.

Not sure you can get a fresher 🍩 anywhere else! Kids love coming here as they offer unique made to order donuts. I had their mocha and it was delicious!!
