😠 First and probably last time at Tac House. I've only ever gone home mid day twice. Once was today. I'd been recommended the site from a few friends so I decided to give it a shot. The day started and I could already see there were a lot of people there. Too many it seemed. Regardless, I got jumped... First and probably last time at Tac House. I've only ever gone home mid day twice. Once was today. I'd been recommended the site from a few friends so I decided to give it a shot. The day started and I could already see there were a lot of people there. Too many it seemed. Regardless, I got jumped into the first game. Throughout the first game I noticed a lot of players not calling hits (on both teams). The Marshals had a word with everyone but it continued. To the point where I was 5-6 Feet away peppering people and they didn't take the hits (they definitely felt it). There was a lot of dead men (and women) talking as well. But with the amount of people and the amount of rentals I just put this down to people just getting a bit giddy and a lot of poor sportsmanship. However some of the Marshals were - in my honest opinion - terrible. The guy doing the photography, he was fantastic. But 2 of the Marshals are the primary reason I probably wont return. One was incredibly short and aggressive with people to the point where he basically threatened 'If you don't stop talking I'll shoot you in the throat'. The guy in question was talking but that is wildly unprofessional. Just the general threatening to shoot people if they are talking. Absolutely uncalled for. He just seemed like he didn't want to be there and was generally unpleasant. And the second was just immature. If you are a marshal on site you should be an example to all other players. Instead this guy was shouting over other marshals, firing his gun AFTER other marshals had told everyone else to stop so they could talk and to top it off, jumping on top of the van and blind firing from the roof into the back of the van while people where in the back of the van. These people are supposed to be running the site. Far too many people for the site let alone the amount of Marshals on site and some of the Marshals that where there were unprofessional, immature, aggressive or seemingly didn't care. It's a shame because I liked the site. Some of the players were awesome as well (mad props to the guy who gave me the batteries). If something happens with the marshal situation and the over population I could see myself coming back. Until then I'll get my airsoft fix else where.

Really hate to leave such a poor review because as a site it is great. With that building layout, mixture of indoor and outdoor it could make for a great CQB site. Unfortunately due to a recent visit their was a large number of issues that just make the site one never to return to. From the off their was a issue with people talking during the first game brief, This does happen but a quick "guys be quite so we can get out and play" generally gets everyone to hush up. Unfortunately the "head marshal" quite quickly started to throw out threats of shooting anyone who didn't shut up. This was then repeated throughout the days of "next person to talk gets shot in the throat" At points people were actually being shot in the brief even designating non staff members to do the shooting. One marshal shot at someone 3 times, hit the first shot but the other two hit the person next to this. Due to the sheer disrespect and contempt that was being shown by the entire team towards the end of the day individuals were playing were calling out people and even threatening to "stab them up". Despite feedback and issues raised by multiple people throughout the day it continued until multiple people ended up leaving due to the physical and verbal abuse from staff. Not what people drop £35 plus and their free time to have happen.

Used to be a great site, well martialed and well run. Sadly no longer the case. From the start of the day and the safety briefing red flags will be thrown up. If you have to include in your safety brief, a warning against telling the staff they need more martials, you are probably hearing it a lot and with good reason. Martin will claim at the very beginning they won't play small games as they want to be more "linear", playing their games across the whole site, with just 3 martials. Hat off to the main martial, he's been there a while and as ever a top lad, but the other two, one with some sort of Aussie accent no one can understand and the other who literally does not care about enforcing the rules (During one game, in which the teams were told not to camp the spawns, he was asked to intervene and push a team back and stop them camping a spawn, he simply shrugged his shoulders and claimed it doesn't make much difference.) fail to inspire much confidence. Expect further moaning during the safety brief with regards to cheat calling, something every site will warn against, but rarely will they go into further detail, claiming that no one plays with honesty or integrity any more, further strengthening the feeling that they have lost control. On two occasions on my latest (and probably last) visit the martials allowed things to spiral out of control with arguments breaking out and some aggressive behaviour on behalf of the accused. In fact the martials never actually stepped in and stopped any of it, leaving it instead to players to split things up and get the games under way again. In summary, a poorly half heartedly run site by a owner with zero intentions to improve. There are plenty of well run sites in the area and I would recommend almost any of them over tac house at this point in time. Don't waste your time or your money.

So let me start this review by saying this is my opinion based over my two visits the most recently being this Sunday just gone. I’ve never been one to post reviews especially negative ones so I wanted to take a day to reflect and make sure my review was fair not a snap reaction to the days events. First of all the site which as most people have said it’s great. They have a good mix of gameplay with games they play well from the start point they use. The site had deteriorated from our prior visit which given the nature of the site not surprising but glad to see all steps have been made to keep as much as possible in play and safe to use. My only complaint about the site is the information on the website which states no pyro on site so I left my trmr at home to only find out this not true it’s only restricted to indoor use only apart from one area and to a max size of 9mm. I felt that this plays into regular players hands and that the website should be updated. Now the marshals, upon our first visit we was surprised to see them carrying guns but as was explained this is to check on hit taking when the inevitable happens and someone believes another player is not taking there hits. Now I don’t really agree with it but every site has there way of dealing with things this is there’s and that’s fair enough. On our first visit both myself and a teammate got shot by a marshal and we both took or hits and that was the end of it or so I thought, I was then shouted at for moving straightaway, on that day they used a 10 second bleadout rule but we had been told if we in the line of a gun fight to move to one side so I explained thats what I had done and that was that. On our return on 27th we all expected the marshals to carry and that’s fair enough. What we didn’t expect is to hear threats of shooting you if you don’t shut up in game briefs or blind firing into a vehicle with players inside. I understand that the owner has looked into this and now is stating that it was banter with regulars but this isn’t clear to new visitors and you must understand that it would put people off returning. The final straw for our party was was towards the end of the fallback game when four of my friends were threatened with being stabbed. Now I was the same distance away as a marshal and heard everything yet he did not react to this and I didn’t see anything happen to this bloke despite at the start of the day it being made clear in the safety brief this behaviour was not acceptable. Now on reflection I’d love to score the site a 3/5 as it’s great but I have played at some better sites. But the marshals would get 0/5 so I wanted to split it down the middle but Google doesn’t allow half stars so my actual score is 1.5/5. Since the events of the day I’ve been made aware that some of the regulars on a Facebook page have called us snowflakes for leaving early because of the fallback game. This was not the case we left due to events that happened and not because of a game. Untill we left the team we was a part of had won all games prior to lunch despite having less players on our side. I think this is terrible behaviour and shows the culture this type of poor marshalling has established.

I am a regular at this site and it is good fun and there are very friendly staff, however cheating is common and there is not many staff, my gun shot at 340 and has a good range but these guys were firing well beyond my range and it still felt like getting stung by a bee through my trousers. i asked one what fps he was at and the reply was "dunno" Because of this ...I definitely agree sites should be quick to check guns and ensure that if there is a way that FPS can be changed then i t is securely locked (I.e tournament locks etc recently), and even then Marshal's hover round between games and randomly spot check entire groups of players at a time. Oh and a magical concept, they can chrono to your bb weight in use, getting around FPS weight cheats. Last situation. Marshall asks HPA owner Before checking what weight. 0.20 (true lie who plays at 0.20 using hpa) a few control shots, result 340, marshal leaves without seeing a cheat, After all, no one uses a replica on hpa with 0.20 balls, it had a minimum of 0.28 which gives a value of 410 !!! on contact 5-10m! nothing later a bruise - the size of a plum. control jule instead of fps. but this marshal should know, Wont allow hpa and speedsoft, these places have no place in airsoft. As airsoft is a community-built sport, regular offenders can quickly be shipped from the circle of trust and cast out into the cold, wet puddle of embarrassment. The confounding thing with cheating players is that there isn't really much of an incentive in the overall big picture. The main incentives for those players who purposefully ignore the rules is the Marshall's Colleagues cheat the most, Airsoft relies on people taking their hits, otherwise it'd devolve into a sadomasochistic event where people just shoot each other until someone uses the safety-word or has to change their underpants. In my experience, everyone who plays airsoft regularly has the right idea about taking hits and how to behave in their mind. However, many people aren't used to adrenaline, or any shade of combat, and many people can behave in a manner they're hopefully embarrassed about once the juices get going. People can get trapped in the moment, and the most common kind of non-hit-taking and The best thing the community can do is to make the process of taking the hit seem easier and more enjoyable. This is achieved by all those good-sporting types who congratulate people when hit and cheerfully skip back to re-spawn. alone any kind of congrats (the arm goes up with a raised thumb on reflex now, I've beaten the paintball urge to check my clothing for marks finally hehe) Most understand this, but not those who usually play and cheat there, from the last game I also noticed very racist behavior - towards Polish players. And one of the band's friends, notoriously shot them in the back, then laughed that he eliminated Polish Dicks from the game , But when they began to ignore his behavior. Disgusted, he called them cheats. His behavior, his appearance in a paintball mask in the knees of a DIY store, And yesterday I read him insulting. I said I have to write it. Because I do not identify with such players. Went multiple times over 3 months same kid in black red coat was always there never called his hits told refs multiple times, but since he was a member the let it slide over and over and over. stopped making this my weekend play field for me and buddies because, HPA and such Players, They will destroy this site, It is a pity because for me it is the best site CQB In this local

I will start by saying I think the site itself is great and I have had great games there. However game day on the 28th October the organisation and communication between staff let it down. Rules enforcement was lax with only one or two staff enforcing site rules consistently. When I brought a complaint to staff the only response I got from the head organiser was harsh language and "why does it matter". It's a shame that bad experience may have ruined the site for me and I know I won't be returning anytime soon.

I saw a lot of bad reviews before before going to tac house Spartan, and I don't really understand why, staff are nice games are good what more can u ask for, my only problem is "some" people didn't call there shots, but I've not been to a site yet where this isn't a problem so......
