The Knaves kitchen vegan food pop up here is amazing. Really enjoyed the food and the seating area (which is slightly separated from the main bar area) and is nice to sit in to have your food. The service was also really good. All the food packaging is compostable. The CFC wrap was the best thing we tried. Will definitely be back to try some of the other food. UPDATE - Been many times and always excellent- went in recently with my baby for food and to be fair we should have maybe gone in earlier as there was a band on but the staff were amazing they told us what time it would be getting loud and closed a door to the room with music to reduce the noise from the soundcheck so we could scoff our vegan meals without having to leave. We made sure to get out of there before the music started - I know loads of places would not have been as accommodating so shows they can also do family friendly which is great because the vegan food here is always nice and decent value.

Hi, I've never been in Oporto before but on a whim of seeing a friends band I had the pleasure. Amazing rock bar, and I'd like to thank the barmaid that said I'd had too much drink. No sarcasm. I think she genuinely saved my life. Thank you very much

What’s happened!? Been here a few times for food with friends and loved it. Decided to bring my fiancé and I’m embarrassed about how bad it was! Looks like the menu has changed and the recipes are totally different. The Mac n cheese has gone from a 10/10 to a 1/10, so bland that we didn’t finish it, was like eating pasta alone. Whatever you’ve changed here recently please reverse it. So disappointed

Bar staff were RUDE and intoxicated. Swinging lights and nearly hitting my friends in the head with them. They were horrible and pushed us every time they walked past. Do not visit this place. Had a terrible night.

Great small venue. Went to see a band called Crows and had a fantastic night. Will go again if there's any bands I want to see playing. Highly recommended

They keep a head in a jar. It's said the head was a former customer who had a particular heavy night. Instead of becoming legless he became headless. It's quite the story. In the end they decided to keep it as a souvenir. A tourist attraction and a warning to other guests, to let them know that Oporto goes hard.

Great venue for concerts, albeit very small. Only weird thing is the concert room has these sofas on each side and so you can’t occupy the full width so it’s a bit of an awkward vibe if you’re stood dancing or singing to the music and there’s someone sat sideways next to you watching the gig

First ever visit to "Knaves Kitchen " ..great selection of vegan dishes..delicious and great value. Warm and friendly atmosphere...will definitely be going again. The only negative is that you wouldn't know it was situated within "Oporto"..we struggled to find it. A nice bright neon sign in the window would be great 😉

Had a fantastic time the staff were fantastic making a great vibe. Music was the best IV heard in there for a long time. Not just indie and rock like my last visits. This is the new best place to go at the bottom of town. Thank you

Bouncer just threatened to slap my friend, SHE was not threatening, just a lil tipsy, we where waiting outside for mates and he said " I'll slap you" and pushed her. She's five foot nothing, hardly worthy of violence.

Visited this a couple of years ago for a live music concert. Really good venue. I'm hoping to return again soon now that's live music concerts are back on.

A real classic in leeds. I used to come to this bar years ago and came back recently for a pint. Cool music and good beers on draft. Was quiet early on on the Friday but started getting busy as we moved on. Friendly bar staff.

Really busy quite expensive

We went here specifically for food in Knaves Kitchen. It has a fully vegan menu and the food was great. They serve tofu and seitan, we will definitely be visiting again.

The actual bar was nice, but the bouncers were horrible. We stood up to leave as asked by the bouncer (cause our time slot was up). We were waiting for one of our friends who had gone to the toilet. He proceeded to pick up my friend and drag her outside and throw her to the floor. To be honest I was shocked, and it was extremely distressing. There's loads of other bars in leeds with much nicer bouncers, I would find another.

Only been here once and I will not being going again. Can't fault the drinks or anything just one waitress who works there made the experience not enjoyable.

The member staff with trex arms looked into my eyes and my heart Melted like lego in a panini press. This is a little raunchy spot which I will frequent for as long as I live.

Great knowledge of cocktails made upon request. High quality cocktails of equal strength at a good price for an inner city bar. In trend selection of beers and staff with good trivia of all drinks. Had a great time!
