My
hubby
and
I
took
our
boy
rocco
there
for
the
first
time
today
switched
from
another
morely
vet
which
my
boy
had
a
bad
experience
at...upon
reading
reviews
despite
some
bad
ones
we
took
a
chance
and
joined
up
to
abbey
house
on
their
pet
plan
our
boy
is
a
romainian
rescue
and
takes
extra
time
to
get
used
to
new
things
and
new
people
he
likes
people
but
is
funny
about
them
touching
him
in
certain
places
on
his
body...the
vet
before
this
one
was
very
wooden
with
him
and
didn't
seem
all
too
compassionate
about
my
boy
needing
to
have
a
positive
experience
so
he
didn't
fear
going
there
again...after
our
last
visit
at
our
previous
vets
I
made
a
choice
to
find
a
new
one
and
I'm
quite
particular
as
I
want
the
absolute
best
for
my
boy!
Chose
abbey
house
and
omg
I
am
so
incredibly
glad
we
did!
They
were
amazing
from
the
start
I
spoke
to
one
of
the
receptionist
a
lovely
polite
lady
and
spent
awhile
just
discussing
my
boy
and
his
nervousness
and
need
for
a
female
vet
who
will
take
abit
of
time
to
desensitise
him
to
whatever
she
was
gonna
use
on
him...it
was
a
lovely
convo
and
we
discussed
the
pet
for
life
plan
which
included
his
booster
and
kennel
cough
vaccines!
I
thought
was
amazing
as
the
last
one
had
a
rule
of
not
being
allowed
to
inc
the
vaccines
till
you
were
on
the
plan
for
a
year
and
didn't
include
kennel
cough
vaccine
they
didn't
tell
me
this
till
afterward
and
after
my
boy
had
the
bad
experience
with
the
male
vet
I
chose
to
cancel
and
go
to
abbey
house
on
their
plan
as
I
said
I'm
so
glad
I
did!
Upon
getting
to
the
practice
we
were
greeted
kindly
by
receptionist
and
seen
shortly
after
on
time
by
the
female
vet
we'd
asked
for...as
soon
as
in
the
room
she
was
on
the
floor
with
our
boy
making
a
fuss
we
were
able
to
take
off
his
lead
and
harness
to
let
him
roam
and
feel
comfortable
she
fussed
him
whilest
examining
him
which
made
him
happy
not
scared
like
the
previous
vet
she
treated
him
for
good
behaviour
and
generally
baby
talked
to
him
which
he
loved
she
was
able
to
do
a
thorough
check
and
desensitised
him
to
the
heart
scope
they
use
she
then
got
to
do
the
booster
without
him
even
noticing
and
he
looked
for
her
at
the
door
when
she
left
the
room
to
get
the
kennel
cough
vaccine...she
even
managed
to
do
that
very
quickly
and
after
all
was
said
and
done
she
still
spent
extra
time
with
us
just
fussing
him
she
was
beyond
amazing
and
completey
different
to
our
last
vet
she
had
compassion
and
kindness
and
a
want
to
make
his
experience
a
positive
one
too!
She
fussed
him
in
a
very
comforting
way
not
overbearing
or
in
his
face
and
it
made
all
the
difference!
our
previous
vet
didn't
do
any
of
the
above
and
made
our
boy
so
scared
so
I'm
beyond
thankful
to
abbey
house
and
the
vet
who
spent
time
with
us
today!
I'd
give
them
10*
if
I
could!
Just
absolutely
amazing
I'm
so
relieved
and
I
was
the
minute
we
got
into
the
room!
So
so
glad
we
made
the
right
choice
for
our
boy
and
would
recommend
to
anyone
wanting
a
vet
who
is
compassionate
and
kind
and
will
take
the
time
to
make
sure
your
dog
is
comfortable
especially
If
your
dog
takes
time
to
get
used
to
new
things
like
my
boy!
Thank
you
abbey
house
it
meant
the
world
to
me
the
best
Christmas
gift
they
could
have
given
me
and
my
boy!
A
positive
experience
goes
a
very
long
way
with
every
dog
but
I
feel
especially
rescues!
