    Many thanks for fixing my damaged glasses quickly and with no charge while I was on holiday in the local area recently, it was VERY much appreciated. Fantastic customer service excellence, Thank you!!

    Absolutely ignored. I came into this store wanting to get my glasses. When I walked in a lady with brunette hair was serving another customer. I have a visibility cane and need assistance. The sales person finished with their customer, walked past me, sat down at her desk and started drinking something from a cup whilst talking to another colleague. All this happened within a space of 10-15 minutes. She even made a quick call whilst I was in store. Noone spoke to or acknowledged me in any way. There was noone else waiting to be served. Well done Vision express for having two staff members who would rather sit, chat to each other and have a drink whilst a visually impaired person with a signal cane is ignored. An opticians is the last place someone like me should be ignored and left to struggle. I left and went elsewhere.

    I have always had very good experiences at this vision express store. I was seen on time, all the opticians were very friendly and helpful. Had my eye test and ordered glasses all in under an hour - would deffo recommend this store (:

    A lovely lady completed my actual eye test however there was an incredibly rude and aggressive woman in a green headband working today that soured the experience. Unwilling to help as she was 'too busy', scoffed when I refused to sit down and wait to pay as I had to go back to work and then barked across the shop something about my prescription whilst I was being served by a lovely lady called Chloe.

    so ridiculous,they normally should be get 10mins late for appointments. But expect when you do contact lenses appointment! But they didn’t get any notice to customer. Just told you when you late. And when you book contact lenses test you should upload eye test results and then can get contact lenses test, I know this one starts and review can change anything cuz this is big brand in UK But just get some remind to everyone, ask them all condition when you do anyting in this brand.

    Really great assistant that helped me navigate the options of different lenses and frames Vs reglazing. More expensive than last time but they did have an offer on lenses. The 100 day guarantee of money back if you're not happy with your new glasses and also they gave my husband a free eye test which differed from his non vision express prescription when he didn't get on with his new glasses, makes me feel the extra money is worth it.

    Alway rated the service provided by Vision Express extremely highly, however having been 11 mins late for my appointment, just 1 minute over the grace period of 10 minutes, and apologising for this, the staff at vision express refused to see me, and stated I would not be able to be rescheduled an appointment for another 2 wks. As a long-standing customer, this seems extremely unreasonable, and doesn’t seem to put patients’ eye care first. Very disappointed in the service provided on this occasion, will be using the Meadowhall Branch in future.

    Great Service, I lost my specs at the weekend and managed to log on and get an appointment on Bank Holiday Monday. Visited store, safe and welcoming, all eye tests done and ordered new specs and a spare. Very helpful and friendly staff.

    Missed a scheduled appointment staff called and rescheduled for the same day. Attended the appointment met with friendly and welcoming staff waited to be seen by the optician who went through the processes explained everything to me with clarity. A member of staff helped me choose a frame and was very patient. Overall a great customer experience.

    Just left this store. Atrocious service! Two idle customer service agents available yet no one bothered to ask if I needed help. No interaction whatsoever even when I entered the store. I was in there for at least 10 minutes and tried on 6 or 7 different glasses yet no one thought to ask if i needed assistance. No, I didn’t have to ask for help cos if you couldn’t be bothered to offer help then you’ll probably be of no use anyway. This is the second time this has happened in week. Yeah, I’ll stick with Specsavers. Those two need customer service retraining.

    A great experience in the sheffield branch staff were very nice and helpful and friendly helped me sort by glasses out with no stress at all and was also a bonus that they have started doing Klarna very smooth and fast 10-10 for customer service and look forward to Corning back :) :)

    I was tested by Jill Baggott who has tested my eyes for years! I then chose some suitable frames and was measured for varifocals by Neil who was very helpful! Now I just have to wait till they are ready and go back and have them fitted. Very satisfied so far.

    Whilst the checks seemed OK I consider the care disjointed. Mainly very disappointed that they tried to encourage me to buy new glasses (frames) when I had already expressed that I wanted any new lens(es) put into my old frames! and they charged me extra for this! i.e. it was not cheaper although they where saving money on new frames. Then to add insult to injury having told me I needed to attend for a check-up the a few weeks later I found this was an extra cost, something that was NOT explained when the appointment was advised/booked, £35 for less than 5 minutes! this extra charge should have been explained before. Vision Express as a company needs to be more aware of the importance of recycling/reusing and stopping the throw away mentality.

    Very polite and professional staff. Great attention to detail; friendly customer service. Purchasing glasses and contact lenses may seem cheaper with strictly online retailers but with Vision Express it is the whole package, customer service and after care that makes it worthwhile.

    BEWARE RUDE/ POSSIBLY RACIST SERVICE!!! Extremely rude service (2nd time in a row) - Specifically Advisor Tammy. My daughter Called up asking if they could look for a frame on their website as I usually call up meadow hall and they are brilliant with this. The optical assistant - Tammy claimed she was searching for one over the phone and then said it wasn't there (makes sense with stock). But when enquiring about a different frame she claimed she was actually with a customer and then when I asked if I could speak to anyone else she said in a rude tone that my only option was to come in store (quite an odd request seeing as vision express have stated to offer this service). When I politely asked her if there's a preferred time I could call back she immediately put the phone down on me. This is the second rude experience I've had with going into the Fargate store in sheffield, the first time was when I was looking around for frames. After a vey unwelcoming reception talk about frames I started to browse the frames. The optical assistant proceeded to whisper to the optician about me (which I could hear as I was the only one in the store) and stare at me from the other end of the store, a very uncomfortable experience- I am pretty sure it was the same assistant Tammy. The optician then proceeded to try on glasses next to me and look at me from the corner of his eye - very uncomfortable. I'm not sure if this was a racially motivated experience (as I am a person of colour) or if it was just an inability to give good customer service. [Edit: I was dressed in fully formal clothes and behaving in a normal manner which leaves me to believe this was actually racially motivated. After looking at the reviews I can see that another black person has had the same experience, seems like management really needs to fix this!] Going back to meadowhall vision express has been a wonderful experience so I would suggest this opticians instead - especially if you are a person of colour.

    Had a great experience with my optometrist today (Motiullah it the name it says on my prescription). So friendly, thorough, informative and explained everything very well. The other store staff were also very helpful and friendly.

    I attended this store today and ask simply about my sons contacts. l was greeted by a women called Tammy who then said she couldn’t handle my questions about my sons prescription. She then proceeded to run to the back of the building screaming that she couldn’t do it she just couldn’t do it!! to anyone who would listen!! She then told a staff member it’s them…meaning me and my son and my 1 year old daughter! I honestly could not believe it. I thought she was having maybe a bad day and shouldn’t have been at work that day. But to proceed to state it’s them like us asking a few questions has caused her this type of distress is disgusting. I honestly believe if me and my son was white her response wouldn’t have been that! Vile service! I never said anything to warrant that response!!
