Hidden craft beer Gem of Balla. Really good selection of beer on tap. Lots of other quality products like gin and coffee. Made to feel as welcome as a fart in a space suit. Staff could be welcoming and keen to answer questions / showcase their products. Instead I'm made to feel bad for asking questions. I would have stayed longer and spent more money if we'd had a more welcoming experience. I'd still stop here and enjoy some very good Welsh craft beer.

We loved this place. Very friendly with a great selection of Welsh beers, rums, and gins. Nice seating areas. We found a fab Welsh rum to take home with us, Barti Spice, delicious!

Wonderful little bar with tap room. Great selection of beer, cider,gin, wines, local specialities. Very welcoming. So good we went twice & will definetly go again when in Bala

A must do if visiting Bala...quirky place with great craft beers! Lovely to see such a dog friendly spot. Great band on the night we were there. You could hear a pin drop. If that's not your thing then there are some pubs beside but I really loved it.

Don’t listen to the miserable comments on here about the staff being, what I’d call quiet. Stori is a great place to hang out and drink great beer. We joined a table with people we didn’t know, talk about why we were visiting, swapped stories and tried a number of the fantastic beers and cocktails on offer. Superb value and great atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Found this place whilst in Bala. Brilliant distillery, shop and bar. Staff where lovely and friendly and a real chilled vibe about the place. So much choice not just in terms of the shop and an absolute plethora of wines beers and spirits. Plenty of beers to choose from from the bar. Will definitely return.

Great beer, potentially cool tap room but shocking customer service. Per other comments not made to feel welcome at all......moody reception by staff on arrival and should drop the unnecessary (slightly aggressive) list of rules on table as it is meant to be a tap room not a classroom!
