Whilst visiting my friend in Llandybie, she took me for a drive to show me the delights of her new country. I had never been to Wales before and I must say that I love it. We went for lunch in the restaurant at Davies & Co., where we were served by Anita, the restaurant manager. Her warm greeting, her friendly smile, the beautiful music, and the relaxed atmosphere were just what we needed on a rainy day. We both decided on the open tuna salad, which was beautifully presented, and the taste created a party in my mouth. Every mouthful was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. After enjoying our food and great chat with Anita, we went upstairs to have a browse at the furnishings. Wow!!! There were so many beautiful bespoke designs, and the manager was just as welcoming as Anita. I loved so many different pieces in the store, but due to distance and weight, I could only buy two cast iron hanging hooks. My little pieces of Wales to take home along with my many happy memories. I would definitely recommend Davies & Co. as a must visit if you are in Llandovery, and I look forward to going back on my next visit. 👌🏾👍🏾

We were visiting Llandeilo, this is one of our favourite little towns, we purchase fresh produce & always buy meat from one of the three butchers there. On Fridays, they have community events selling gifts ,plants, and lots of other items So that's interesting. There is also this place, a restaurant in the basement of a shop selling the most unusual items of furniture. It's really friendly and the food is good . So yes, a really nice little town indeed.

Pleasant surprise to see them in this new location, as have known them for years in the previous one. Quality and choice with friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to hand and advise, in a very pleasant setting. They also have the nice café with a good choice of really tasty vegan and vegetarian dishes included. Lovely, friendly staff.

Visited here a few times. I have to say. The man who works in the shop. I’ve never met anyone so arrogant and stuck up in my whole life. I’ve walked around with my wife. Not even a hello. And asking a question and him looking at me like I can’t afford to be there. Other visit : Turned up in my work jeans to possibly buy a load of lighting for my house renovation. And not even a hello. Never judge a book by its cover my friend. If you worked for me I’d sack you where you stood. You are not doing them any favours. Or do you own the place ?

Great atmosphere, fabulous staff, but cakes very synthetic, bread no better than plain supermarket bread. Disappointing.

Café is lovely but a bit pricey for the actual food itself. Cakes are reasonable though and very nice. Cafe staff lovely. The gentleman in the shop could do with being welcoming. Lovely building and environment. I do wish this place well as this area needs nice places like this.

Fantastic store, spread over 2 floors, with a lovely cafe beneath. Many, many gorgeous items and furniture for the home, with very friendly and helpful staff, in both the store and cafe.
