Camped here for 3 nights this week and found it to be a very nice campsite. The shower/toilet facilities are large and easily the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen at a campsite. The other facilities such as dry room, fridge/freezers, local information, campsite shop are also excellent. Stayed here as a base to do trips to Pen Y Fan and the Black Mountains and was very happy with its location. Would return.

Had a really pleasant stay at this site in a tent during Storm Cieran! The site owners were so incredibly helpful including towing my car and providing an extension lead for the electricity. Located in such a peaceful quiet area with easy access to the Brecon Beacons. The facilities have been faultless all week and regularly cleaned. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great campsite with great facilities. A well stocked shop, helpful staff and informative. The showers and toilets facilities are excellent and clean. Other facilities, laundrette and washroom/ dry room very good. Great location to explore the area. Lovely pub just down the road. Recommend booking there as it does get busy. It’s The Royal Oak Well maintained grounds and pitches. Highly recommend a stay. Fab playground if you have children.

Quite disappointed, no welcome at arrival, no notice as to where we signed in or were expected, left to a friendly camper to tell us where to find anybody in authority. Didn't see any management during our stay Pitches were not well maintained, showers were just about lukewarm, the shower room had a continuously flashing light. Shop not open at all and no indication as to whether it would be, (It wasn't0. We were recommended to this site as opposed to the Caravan and Motor home site nearby. The only redeeming features were the local scenery and the proximity (five minute walk) to a super Inn. (The Royal Oak) good food and real ales. We don't normally comment on sites but we felt that we ought.

Came here on my final night of gold Duke of Edinburgh with a group of 6 of us, lots of space for tents and managed to get a bench to eat at and cook. This campsite had the best shower/toilet bIock I have ever been to has a nice private cubicle with 3 hooks, and a seat/shelf for stuff then a little shelf for toiletries within the shower. Has a playground for children to play with swings, a slide and monkey bars The site had a drying room, washing up station, laundry room and lots of taps of drinking water scattered around the site. Would 100 percent recommend.

Amazing site. Toilet block and site overall was very clean and tidy! Little shop on the way in and a pub just down the road. Quite a long walk in to Brecon if you wanted it but a lovely walk along the canal if you didn't want to go that far! We'll be returning.

Excellent campsite. Good size and well maintained pitches. Very clean and well looked after. Great campsite for walking in the National Park. This is our 4th visit to this campsite and we will definitely come again.

It's such a nice site. It didn't feel big due to its layout and separated areas. Close to a nearby pub within 5 mins walking distance. The owner seemed helpful. Great service area.
