It would've been higher lads but we all know the ravages free parking has during festive times! But everyone there was lovely, place just felt a little mobbed.

Free parking and plenty of it, excellent choice of shops, the signage could be better though. We had to ask how to get from the car park to the shops and we weren't the only ones who experienced this. Otherwise a good place to go shopping

Love this place. Easy to get there was to park, it has everything I need from food to bi bingo and a decent array of shops. I don't bother going to the city centre anymore in Cardiff there's no need when you can drive to Cwmbran Centre

Everything from food to electronics, if raining no problem there is tons of shopping to do under cover. Free parking with plenty of places for you to choose from. Great place to see friends and family for a cuppa or dinner or clothes and electronics. Have a visit 😊

This is a great shopping centre. It seems to have everything you need. It's accessible by public transport. It incorporates several supermarkets, a good mix of places to eat, coffee shops and my personal favourite dress shops - Roman Originals and Bonmarché. It's a pity House of Fraser closed as they need another large departmental store. Otherwise it's fine. It's clean, feels safe and has clean toilets and a regular bus service. It's a day out for me once a month and I love going there.

Love Cwmbran for shopping! Lots of shops all in one place, easy accessible parking. The only thing I think is its limited on places to eat and drink. It would be nice to have a few more cafes dotted around the centre.

Great shopping centre. Loads of variety of shops and places to eat. I can recommend the all day breakfast at Boswells. Why is there nothing like this in the Barry area?

Nice and clean shopping centre, loads of coffee places and cafes. Quite a few charity shops. Hard to find Christmas presents due to some of the shops are really expensive (especially due to the cost of living crisis). Most of the centre is under cover which is brilliant if it rains

First time visiting but will definitely be going again. Large selection of shops with added bonus of free parking. Also has a bus station in the centre which may be ideal for some, and several public toilets with good access.

Great local shopping centre, free parking along with some great shops and places to eat. Beats travelling to Cardiff or Swansea where you’ll pay £10+ to park. I enjoyed my visit and will use Cwmbran shopping centre a lot more. Was very tidy when I visited, so thumbs up to the staff who keep the area tidy.

Good place to shop free parking. All the shops you need. Alot are shutting down but are quickly getting filled back up. All under cover when raining cant beat the town

The centre itself is fine. Like similar places around the country. Could do with a tidy. My problem is with the car park. Take very careful note of where you park. Though free there are actually three car parks, interlinked, with multiple levels that don't always correspond with the levels of a neighbouring car park.

  • 5/5 Richard P. 9 months ago on Google
Fantastic place. Plenty of shops and free parking from 4 hours to 12 hours on certain levels. We'll worth a visit. I go most weeks

Well done to the security team who diligently investigated what I thought was a theft from my car. The guard in question took my details and said he would contact me by 6.00 which he did after checking the cctv. He confirmed what happened and the good news was my wife had the "stolen" item in her handbag. What an excellent service not just checking what happened but also following up .

There is everything you need here for a small shopping day out. A very good Primark, and other small quirky shops. Food and coffee shops are also around every corner

While the design on the place might make you think of a bomb shelter, it's got everything you need. Lots of shops, places to get food, an indoor market and loads of free parking spaces

Good choice of shops & plenty of places to eat and drink. Free car parking for 3 hours a great bonus. Lots of vonstruction work going on so a little noisy but great once complete.

A small but very busy place. The parking is insanely difficult! People come from a long way, so the lack of spaces is very apparent. I have never seen so many disabled parking spaces. All full, all the time. They have taken a small car park and are making it disabled parking only.

  • 5/5 Amanda V. 8 months ago on Google

One of the very few places where parking is free. Council seem to be doing a good job here compared to so many other places. A large sand pit/ beach right in the centre for the kids to play in. If was quite busy but generally clean

I enjoy Cwmbran shopping centre, free parking, a good selection of shops and don't forget the indoor market, I picked up a nice crystal for my collection. I was disappointed at the butchers, not by there produce which looked great but by their hygiene rating, a put off. Enjoyed some lovely cake at La Creme Patisserie, so fresh and well deserving of the price. A great Primarks, picked up some bargains there.

  • 5/5 Lynda S. 8 months ago on Google
Free parking is a real bonus and lots of nice shops with a Dunelm opening soon another great addition to a brilliant shopping centre and mostly all enclosed so no getting wet. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great variety of shops & places to have a coffee or snap. Free parking in all the cat parks is such a plus compared to smaller towns nearby that charges.

Hadn't been to Cwnbran for a long time.i loved all the shops there and plenty of places to eat there I think 🤔 it is better then Cardiff To go shopping

  • 5/5 Richard W. 2 years ago on Google
Best shopping centre for practical shoppers in my opinion, all close together and all the main low end cheap high Street shops are there, i. E. The only ones a commoner like me can afford to buy anything in. Parking at Christmas is a nightmare which reflects its popularity, but rest of the year is great.

  • 5/5 Sam H. 2 years ago on Google
Free parking, excellent range of shops, clean and tidy overall excellent place to shop. But and this is a big criticism, the carparks near McDonald's and the John Fielding are almost impossible to park in not because of shoppers but because of delivery drivers filling up all of the carparks, they even block the disabled access spaces. If the management of the centre took a hard line on 1 the anti social manner of the driving and parking and 2 issued tickets for parking in disabled bays with no blue badge then this problem would go away. I hope that the management take this onboard and do something about it as approaching the fast food outlets ends up with being told that the driver don't work for them 🤷

Really good shops, food and drink places, and evan clothes and shoes and every other shop. There are many many many shops and there all perfect so I'm rating 5 star

  • 5/5 Alice J. 2 years ago on Google
Cwmbran is one of my favourite shopping centres. It has free car parking and is mainly under cover, perfect for shopping in any weather. A great selection of shops including a Primark, Sport Direct, Matalan, New Look, River Island, Boots, Clarks, MenKind, The Entertainer to name just a few. There's a bus station if required. Plenty of cafes etc to stop in for a cuppa or lunch. Just across the road is also a cinema, bowlplex and more food places. A good place to shop and pass a few hours 👍🏻

  • 5/5 Marc E. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent place. I went there on a horrible cold rainy day. The whole centre is under cover and easy to navigate. Everything you might need is available and parking is free.

Free parking in a lovely town centre. A great verity of shops and cafe your spoilt for choice. Free parking in various locations around the shoping centre and if you haven't a car the bus station is located right in the middle. A great day out for all the family.

Five stars purely down to the company I had. I would have reviewed two stars because of the masked mongos that still insist on pushing their dumb narrative.

  • 3/5 Naquadahx 2 years ago on Google
A town centre created entirely out of grey 50s era concrete. Famous for its free parking. Rumours say free parking will last 100 years but this is just a myth... or is it. It has shops like every other town centre, it has fast food joints, toy stores, game stores, a confederacy of super markets to keep entertained for days.

Wow is all I can say, I went to Cardiif, Newport and then Cwmbran in my visit home. I must say everything you could need in one area in this shopping centre and with FREE PARKING, lifts to the shopping areas and the cleanliness. 10/10 for all that work there.

  • 5/5 Deanne m. 2 years ago on Google
Plenty of under cover so you don't get wet and good parking facilities

  • 5/5 Anna-Marie S. 2 years ago on Google
Great shopping centre. I’m sure it must be one of the only towns left in Wales, that manages to bring people into the town and I’m positive that the ‘free parking’ is what attracts people there. It may be a good idea for other towns to follow suit.

Good choice of shopping for a shop til you drop experience. Oh and a great fish and chips on the out skirts near Asda.

  • 5/5 sylvia w. 2 years ago on Google
Something for everyone, and all under one roof! Loads of parking and the bus station is almost in the middle. A fine selection of charity shops, cafes catering for all tastes, bargain and high-end shops, Asda, Boots, a Post Office with a M & S section, Matalan, Wilkins, Bon Marche and the list goes on. Obviously, since Covid19 appeared, some shops have had to close, but those that survived, welcome their customers back with their customary South Wales smiles. Although only 15 miles from our homes, my friend and I make a weekly trip to Cwmbran and thoroughly enjoy it. A cup of coffee, people watching, a bit of shopping, more people watching, a lovely lunch in the same eatery we've used for years, more window shopping, and then home on the bus. Lovely day out.

  • 3/5 Ashley J. 1 year ago on Google
Good selection of shops available but whilst there is some refurbishment going on, a lot more is needed to bring this shopping centre into the modern age. The car parks are awfully tight and small and lots of the centre looks tired and could do with some attention.

  • 3/5 Caroline Q. 1 year ago on Google
Cwmbran Town Centre is still a good place to do your weekly shop or go for some retail therapy...but, it's becoming a coffee/cake shop monopoly these days'. Such a shame, because in years' gone by, it was a great place to visit....

  • 5/5 Dave P. 1 year ago on Google
I've lived in Cwmbran for over 30 years so am biased but the overriding benefit of the shopping centre is free parking with a glut of spaces and the centre is fully pedestrianised. If you want convenience, accessibility, variety and safety then it's had to beat.

  • 3/5 linzilu2888 1 year ago on Google
Parking is shocking . No where near enough mother and baby spaces and those they do have are usually occupied by people with no children . This is the second time I have tried to shop here but unable due to parking as I cant get the baby out with her car seat to attach to pram. A few weeks back I parked in a normal space that had an empty space next to me . On returning I wasn't able to open the car door more than 8 to 10 inches to get car seat in . I had to ask a complete stranger could she stand by my pram so i could pull the car forward out of the space.

  • 3/5 Rob A. 1 year ago on Google
Not bad overall for a small town shopping centre. Pros: free parking everywhere which is amazing. Decent variety of shops. Everywhere is convenient to navigate and find your way round. The people are friendly. Cons: a bit dirty in places. People smoke EVERYWHERE and there is little anyone can do about it given that I have never seen anyone official/ police etc to limit it. Again with people, they park like idiots. If you are disabled or have children you will find someone who doesn’t meet that criteria in a space designed for you. Again, no police or people to enforce this sadly.

  • 5/5 Angela S. 1 year ago on Google
We went early Monday morning, easy to park got what we wanted in and out in 30 mins, just like the way I like to shop. Know what you want, which shop you need, done and off home. No wIndow shopping, wasting time cannot be doing that.

  • 5/5 Kate B. 1 year ago on Google
Realy nice plenty of parking the spaces could be a bit wider but they dont charge some great shops i visited a shop with movie stuff i looked at stranger things merch and star wars plus loads and loads of stuff such a lot of shops here in lovely surroundings i did treat myself to a lovely fish and chips and irish curry however i managed to spill curry down myself but what i managed to actualy eat some worth a visit for sure

  • 3/5 Bethan E. 1 year ago on Google
Its OK is currently a fair summation of cwmbran. It has free parking, which is always a plus. There are large units where shops have shut down and mostly low end cheap shops. It would be great to see a greater variety of stores in the centre. I'm happy to see a clogau has moved in and I hope that something good will fill the space where house of Fraser was.

Good place for your quick shopping. Everything will get near the hand. Supper market, Clothing shops, food shops, bedding shops, cinema hall etc just in one place. Free Parking available. After Park in one place you can do your all necessary job within a very short time. I like the place.

Spacious and well laid out. A great array of shops and free parking too. I always enjoy shopping here, also having the bus station within makes it easy for those without their own transport. I noticed several council staff maintaining the high levels of cleanliness throughout. An excellent visit to which I'll return to very soon.

  • 3/5 Anna 2 years ago on Google
It's pretty down at heel and needs investment. That said, the shop staff are amazing..friendly and helpful. And the shops that survive are cheap cheerful and useful.

  • 5/5 Dean M. 2 years ago on Google
Nice too visit a Town centre where parking was absolutely free !! Shopping centre was very busy and only handful of empty shop units. There were lots of different shops and some good small café outlets. Well worth a visit.

I found this a all lot better that Bristol shopping area to get round especially in a scooter really family friendly and a lot under cover free car park with a lift as well as stairs access direct to shopping area toilets for all including disabled at the car park shopping entrance you can't miss them.

  • 4/5 William E. 2 years ago on Google
Plenty of parking but the parking bays were put down a long time ago so don't necessarily fit larger new cars. There is something for everyone and is my go to for any of my shopping needs.
