An extremely scenic place to visit. A huge national park with multiple hiking and walking trails. There are several beautiful lakes and mountain inside the national park. Hence, you need to plan your visit well. Recommended for multiple visit to explore the National Park. One of the main attractions is the Snowdonia mountain itself, complete with the train line up to the mountain top

How can you add stars to such natural beauty! An absolutely stunning National Park which can be enjoyed during all seasons. One of my favourite National Parks. I have attached some images from my time there.

Beautiful just beautiful, plenty of convenient park before you get to the site then just take a cab to the visitors centre to start the hike. You dont have to hike all the way up to the top to have a enjoyable day as there are plenty of other routes to do on ground level too

The best place in wales to visit for a bit of hill walking. Comparable with the Lake District for stunning scenery. Lots of other sites of interest like waterfalls, castles, lakes and rivers. Has recently been designated a UNESCO world heritage site. Lots of camping and b&b options to stay. Expect rain for at least part of your visit.

The roads are wonderful and the views are amazing. I didn't climb the mountains but went there and enjoyed beauty of Mt. Snowdown from a distance. It was very windy but worth it seeing greenery, mountains and clouds along with fresh air.

A piece of heaven in the UK. We came to snowdonia with a group of friends in the middle of summer and we had a wonderful, sunny, outdoors adventure. After spending here most of the day and going all the way up, I was surprised with the SPECTACULAR views, how clean the path is and the amount of people hiking (most of the time there was a queue of people walking slowly). The park is genuinely gorgeous and -even though it was tough for me to go all the way up- I felt very privilege to be here.

Couldn’t trek on the day I visited as it was windy, went up by train but train couldn’t go up to Sumit due to heavy wind, I will definitely visit again and prepare for trek. Amazing place to visit could able to get all the positive waves up the hill refreshing.

One of the most beautiful parks in the UK, truly breathtaking with mountain landscapes, sheep grazing and weather changing in instants. Hike to the summit is a tough one. Parking is available in plenty although it depends on the season. Path is easy to follow and you can’t get lost. A hike well worth it

Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, and one of the best places North Wales has to offer. Climbed this mountain & it is a big challenge. Have to be reasonably fit. And you need to allow yourself at least 4 to 6 hours to ascend & descend the mountain. But getting to the top is well worth the effort.

Very very beautiful and scenic. The national park was completely worth the visit, the lake , the slate mountains, the walking trail, the train ride everything was amazing. I really enjoyed the cute train ride, especially the lakeside one. If you are walking do remember to wear strong walking shoes or trainers.

Wow it's an absolute beauty to explore and feel humble about. Definitely needs medium fitness level unless you have ample time like more than 5 hours for the round trip. The views are simply nature's best. The two stops you get on the way are perfect spots to enjoy the pristine lakes. We started around 5:30 am and sometimes parking gets a little tricky to find. Fret not if you do not get the official parking space, drive ahead and you will find some spots by the road. Pacj enough food and water, especially some protein bars as it will reduce the weight you carry. Weather plays a big role. Preferred route : Miners Track. Will definitely go again. Just Do It. You won't regret ever.

The day we climbed the Pyg Trail up and descended on the Miners Trail. Ensure you are prepared to go with adequate water as the cafe at the top may close. A lot of steps and will take approximately 6 hours at a steady pace. Both these walks need you to be of a reasonable fitness and able to climb over rocks. The views are breathtaking and a real sense of achievement on reaching the summit. The weather is very changeable and go prepared to get wet.

One of the most amazing experiences. We did Pyg Trail up and Miners Trail back down, would highly recommend. Parked at pen-y-pass, would highly recommend going as early as possible, we got there at 6am and there were 2 spaces left. At this time the trail was very quiet, we seen maybe 5-6 people on the way up and about 300 on the way back down a couple of hours later. Pyg Trail is fairly easy, might get a bit difficult if the weather takes a turn but it's fairly straightforward. Miners is a nice gradual ascent until you get near the bottom of Snowdon and then it's quite difficult, easier to go down it than up it. Hoping to go back and watch the sunrise at the top.

You can't plan the most beautiful moments in your life. One will come the same. The art of life is that which is found in little security. Lives are not applied, but momentary, which take your breath away

Breath taking views, Wales is so beautiful! Highly recommended but come prepared with food, water and most importantly the correct hiking gear. If you want to walk to the summit prepare for a six hour tough walk (there and back).

A fantastic national park that has something for everyone from climbing, to hiking, to swimming, to little towns/villages. Perfect for any day out. Plan accordingly, it can get very busy at popular spots.

Snowdonia. I mean what's not to love? From mountain hikes to moorland walks, seaside and coastal trekking it offers stunning scenery in which to perform a wide range of outdoor pursuits like mountain biking, free climbing, canyoneering, coasteering and many more besides. The locals are often friendly and helpful and the countryside is beautiful with sheep and streams nearly every where you look

A serene place to visit specially in the summer. There are a lot of hiking and walking trails overlooking the lake and mountains. There is also a mountain railway which will take you all the way up to the summit.

Place of outstanding natural beauty. Absolutely loved driving around the national park. The roads are so well maintained. We visited over winter - the landscapes, waterfalls, rivers and hills just so breathtaking. Can't wait to plan a walking holiday

One of the most outstanding places on earth. It's beautiful and hiking up to the peak is well worth the effort provided you wear suitable attire and give yourself enough time. I have reached the summit every conceivable way over the years - probably a dozen times - and it never gets old.

If you are nature lovers. This is a place you should go. Don't underestimate any trail. There are not the hardest I've been to but they are challenging, especially during winter. The landscape though worth every single step you make.

Only skirted the edges of the park as we drove through during our trip to North Wales but it's as beautiful as ever. Plus I hadn't even heard of the Mach Loop until my wife mentioned it which became our basis for the tour. There's so much for you to see throughout Snowdonia it's definitely worth visiting whether you walk, ride or drive there's so much to see and do.

A beautiful range of mountains. Several places to hike, or just drive through. Each of those small towns you pass by are very beautiful. For those coming from America, the roads are narrow. Speed limits are atrociously slow with traffic cameras. So drive carefully. Views are stunning

Awesome trek! We had been to Tryfan Cliff. It was 800meters high. Simple to climb. After one point, you will find only rocks, where entire path is made with rocks and cliffs. It looks beautiful and scary at the same time. We did not climb the rocks but took few pics on the sharp cliffs. It gets too foggy up, and you feel like touching the sky❀️. Take some snack and energy bars to eat in between and lot of water to drink, cz it makes throat really dry while climbing as the slope is quite stiff. Be prepared to get your calves and thighs pumped. But when you reach at the top, the view is sooooooo gorgeous and you have no words to describe that feeling. It took us 1.5 hrs to climb up and an hour to down. Short and sweet trek amoung all lengthy treks. Finding a parking space is a another challenge πŸ˜€ we got a spot a mile away from the Tryfan base.

I grew up on the threshold of this magnificent mountainous area. When the rain and wind don't overrule, it's a heaven on earth. The National Park authority continues to maintain and improve paths and facilities. In the future I would like to see less sheep and more trees.

Located in the northern part of whales, this park offers absolutely breathtaking views from it's various parts. There are hundreds of trails and lakes where you could unleash the explorer inside you. The Snowden peak takes a bit of effort to climb and surely time as well. The 3 sister peaks are yet another beautiful thing to watch out. The best way to reach here for an outside traveller is via Liverpool. There are lots of tour buses that take you on a day long excursion here. A must go place if you are planning to goto Wales.

My Son and I walked up Snowdon again today on the Miners Track. We walked up the Ranger track in June, but there was low cloud then, and we could not see anything of the scenery from half way up. Today the weather was perfect, the view from the summit was spectacular. Personally, I found today's route better, as you are surrounded by Mountains as soon as you leave the car park. Well worth the effort of reaching the top

Some great walks around the Snowdonia area with stunning views, If you do decide to venture up any of the Mountains around here take plenty of water to stay hydrated and wear some decent footwear, some of the hills are steep but very rewarding when you reach the top of them, especially if you’re out of your comfort zone, we will be coming back to find some new walks again soon.

Beautiful hike, even with the cold, windy weather. Luckily, it wasn’t raining the day we went although it was quite cloudy. Hiked up 2 hours before making our way down before it got dark but the total one would be approx 3 hours to the top. Lots of people came just to the waterfalls (around 45-1hr from the Watkin Path) and sat there with family - was beautiful.

Brilliant walk. Went up the pyg track and then back down the miners route last Sunday and even had a swim in the lake, would definitely do it again. Bit wet and windy on the way up but soon changed on the way back down.

Truly breathtaking in every way possible. The surrounding county is absolutely gorgeous but once you begin the climb up to the clouds, the experience is nothing short of exhilarating. People of all ages can try their hand at conquering the Summit, although some precautions must be taken, just to be on the safe side. This is one experience you will NEVER forget and we definitely want to return at some point in the future to try our hands at conquering other summits.

Beautiful place! Pen Y Pass has good access and amenities like a cafe and gallery, even a youth hostel. From there, you have direct parking and access to the Pyg pass path and the Miners Path which give excellent views and short routes to the top. Parking is difficult and gets busy though so prebook online. Careful about park in by on the road as you may get fined but it’s we’ll sign posted.

Snowdonia is the adventure capital of the UK. Far easier to get to than Scotland, leave that for the experienced and dedicated. There are plenty of walks, scrambles and climbs to satisfy the majority of people here. Everything from picnic and dog walks to full days with multiple 3000fters. All starting from the same place in some cases. Avoid snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and seek out the historic routes of the carneddau or the dramatic glyderau. Make your own adventures and follow your own path 😊
