We stopped here for the night and found this beautiful little place absolutely charming! The detail and craftsmanship in this old world hotel was amazing. Rooms were clean and it felt as if we were brought back in time to a luxury hotel from a bygone era. The staff was friendly and helpful and the overall feel of the place unique. We are planning to come back soon and do a thorough exploration of the historic town of Wallace and would definitely stay here again. There is no elevator or ac but as I understand there wasn’t electricity when this hotel was built so the fridge and fans were a welcome addition and the lack of air conditioning only added to the overall feel of the place inviting us to open the windows and enjoy the cool night air. Not for the overly spoiled or pampered, more of a jump off point for adventurers looking for a true historical experience.

Debbie was so great and flexible. We made same-day reservations and she fit us right in (even with a bit of a discount!!) she also was able to juggle some rooms so we didn’t have to move rooms during our stay!! she gave us lots of recommendations and was always so kind to bump into. No problems when we rolled into town just before midnight. And didn’t let us forget something we’d left in the room before we left town. Easy walking to everything in town. About 15 miles from Hiawatha and about 10 from a super long scenic gondola! Parking was no issue. Breakfast bars in the morning were a good way to get out the door. Would stay here again!

We stayed here in two different rooms three nights out of five, as we biked Route of Hiawatha and the Trail of CDA. Donna and Tim run a great older hotel right downtown, with several tasty restaurants within a one block walk. The rooms and especially the baths were spotless clean and comfy.

Wonderful, unique downtown Wallace hotel. Directly on cedar street, with an amazing view of the ski jor course! Tim and Donna are such graceful hosts. A wonderful place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a unique, historic experience.

Charming hotel in a beautiful city. I spent a night there as a German on a road trip through the US and really enjoyed the stay: don't expect a modern hotel with pool and TV (although they do have wifi), but look forward to charming, old-fashioned accommodation that couldn't be more fitting for the lovely town, the friendliest operators I've ever met, really good coffee and a quiet getaway you'll love.
