The *best* yoga studio in Nottingham! I took advantage of their offer (£25 for 2 weeks of unlimited classes) and I must say what a good experience it has been. The teachers are extremely experienced and know exactly how to guide you through different poses and how to make adjustments if necessary. The overall vibe is very welcoming and there’s a strong community feeling, making it a very special yoga studio. So far I have tried the yin, wheel yoga, vinyasa and to finish it off, the hot and sweaty hot yoga (wow!). I heard good things about the aerial yoga class too, so that’s next on the list to try. The studio itself is spacious and bright, located on the ground floor of an old factory in Nottingham, not far from the city centre. They have a lot of different yoga props in the studio (bolsters, blocks, mats, yoga straps, wheels) so no need to purchase those and bring your own. It can be noticed that a lot of love and care went into this studio, and you can rest assured that you will find there all that’s needed (and more) for the perfect yoga class.

Simply the best Yoga Studio in Nottingham! I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years mostly before I moved to the UK. During lockdown, I’ve been following online classes and practicing every day. At that time, I realised how much I miss being in an actual class; the energy and teacher adjustments were mostly what I missed. As I live in town, I’ve tried a few yoga studios around; until I found Deep yoga, none of these gave me what I needed. Deep yoga studio is located in Nottingham City Centre, so is easy to get to either using public transport or your own. And it is also very easy to park. I’ve known that this was the yoga studio I’m looking for from the very first class I attended. The energy is amazing, the teachers are the most professional I’ve seen in Nottingham. The way they instruct and the way they adjust really helped me progress in my practice. For three years I’ve been practicing at home with no progress. In three months at Deep, I’ve seen my practice hugely progressing. The studio is fully equipped with the best mats, blocks, bolsters and straps. All are sanitised between uses. The vibe and atmosphere are great. Both teachers and yogis are friendly and helpful. I’ve seldom been somewhere new and immediately felt at ease, Deep Yoga is one of those places. Deep yoga has given me so many things that I immensely cherish; a sense of community; a variety of top-notch classes taught by the best teachers in town; and an immaculately clean and safe space. Thank you Deep Yoga for everything you’ve given me!

If you want to build strength, balance and flexibility, your understanding of the principles of yoga and have a great time with people of all ages, from different parts of the world, this is the place to come. The atmosphere is really welcoming whatever your level and the teachers, while challenging, are also kind and understanding. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Yoga is a spiritual practice, so I like a teacher who can challenge my mind and body and that's exactly what I experienced. I really enjoyed the vibe of the class and the beautiful space with living plants. Steven was brilliant. A more flexible approach to Ashtanga with the rooted parts of the practice still intact. Will be back!

I absolutely love being a member at Deep Yoga. I initially started on the £25 introductory offer which allowed me to try a range of classes with in a 2 week period and this also gave me the chance to get a feel for the studio, instructors and other members. I immediately felt welcome and it ticked all the boxes for me. I now have unlimited monthly membership which is very cost effective for the amount of classes i attend. There is such a mix of yoga practices on offer and with unlimited access i can really immerse myself in them all. I love all the classes i attend but these are perhaps my favourites: Wendy's aerial yoga is challenging and fun, Alice's Yin yoga is such a beautiful, comforting Sunday experience - I literally float home and i have just recently experienced the Friday Hot yoga session with Steven which was ...well... HOT! Really enjoyed this new dimension to my yoga practice which gave me greater flexibility and I must have sweated out a few toxins in that 90 mins.😁 So to sum up: highly recommended giving Deep Yoga a go. Try the introductory offer like i did and see what you think.

I've been practising at Deep Yoga for just over a year. As a relative novice with lots of physical issues to work on, Deep Yoga has been a really great, supportive environment to learn in. The teachers are all knowledgeable and really invested in their classes and students, and I've met some lovely students too. The shala is a beautiful space - spotlessly clean, loads of props, infrared heating, lovely lighting, so it's a really welcoming place to spend time. The new classes that have been added to the timetable recently make this a really comprehensive offering.Thank you everyone!

A cozy and inviting Yoga Studio that caters to all levels. I've had the pleasure of introducing complete beginners to yoga here, and they've absolutely loved it! Personally, I've experienced immense joy and made significant progress in my own yoga journey and skills during the past few months. There are so many different classes to try & every teacher has their own unique style of teaching whilst all being friendly & welcoming. I couldn’t recommend here enough!

Steven the owner of the studio has created this space with love and fostered a community of like minded yogis. Each instructor brings their own style but share the same values. Its clean (unbelievably so), spacious and on Friday there is a hot class that will have you melting into a prune. If you're looking to elevate your practice I couldn't recommend deep yoga anymore.

This is the best yoga studio I tried in Nottingham. The teachers are very experienced and extremely approachable. The classes are quite challenging, yet very safe. Many practitioners in classes also undergo training themselves, so you always have a few extra hands to help and guide you. I really like the vibe of the community. The studio is also amazing, full of calming colours, plants and warmth.

Deep Yoga studio has all the values related to the practice of yoga. It is a perfect place for beginners or for advance practitioners. The teachers have a lot of knowledge and experience at different levels to guide and help you in your practice. I love going to the studio, they are like a big family, a beautiful community. I have never felt stronger, more in-tuned with my mind and body. I absolutely encourage you to book a session! The hot yoga classes on Friday are magical, there is an incredible energy in the Shala :)

Hi. I 'found' Deep Yoga last year and I am so pleased that I did. I always feel warmly welcomed and a care is given to each person. There's a fantastic range of classes throughout the week and all the teachers are excellent and very encouraging. The studio itself is attractive and always clean and feels like my yoga home.

Deep Yoga is simply exceptional. The studio offers a beautiful space, adorned with plants and kept impeccably clean. The classes are top-notch, led by knowledgeable instructors who create engaging and challenging sessions. I was also impressed when on my first day there Steven said that they have a variety of brands of yoga mats, so that if people are looking to buy one, they can test them before. That shows the thoughtfulness and care that goes into the studio. The community at Deep Yoga is inviting and supportive, making it a welcoming environment for practitioners of all levels. As a newcomer to yoga, I found it to be the perfect place to learn and grow. During my two-week visit to Nottingham, I attended classes daily and left feeling inspired and grateful. Deep Yoga is a haven for yoga enthusiasts and a highlight of any visit to Nottingham.

I was introduced to Steven’s 90-minute class of hot yoga through a friend of mine. I had never tried hot yoga before and, even though it was extremely challenging, it was also very rewarding. I have been practising yoga on and off for over two years by watching YouTube videos. Being able, for the first time to do yoga as part of a group was a wonderful experience. Steven is totally on top of his game, brutally honest but with a sense of humour and he exactly knows how to check on, guide, and help each student individually in their practise. He encourages everyone to go at their pace and to only do what feels good to them, stressing the importance of breathing and being in tune with one’s body and abilities regardless of what others can do. Even in a room at 42 degrees, he never loses his cool:) Even though it was very difficult for me to bear the heat and intensity of the session (I had not drunk enough water before the class even though I had been advised to), I was glad I didn’t give up. The stretching and relaxation at the end felt absolutely amazing! Icing on the cake: a glass of fresh coconut water which tasted like heaven after effort in such an intensely hot environment. I am used to watching yoga videos online and in French so it was a bit difficult for me to adjust to Steven’s very fast-paced way of talking, but it was great to step out of my comfort zone and to be part of collective experience. It only made me want to do more yoga in the future, and to properly learn it with a teacher I can talk to and who can follow and check on my progress. Would definitely recommend but make sure to drink plenty of water before you attend the class! :)

I love it. The studio is very cosy and atmospheric but spacious. The teachers are great and really push you to get better. It’s easy to find parking outside and it’s free - something I struggled with at other places.

Thoroughly enjoyed our group aerial yoga session. It's fantastic as a stretch and strength workout, and the silks add something a little different too and make it exciting. Wendy is a lovely, clear and knowledgeable instructor. Thank you for having me! I'll be back to Deep Yoga soon 🙂

I went to my first hot yoga class at this yoga studio recently and I loved it! The whole experience was wonderful and left me feeling great. I wish I lived in Nottingham so I could go every week, but I’ll definitely be going as much as possible. Steven was also super helpful and made me feel so welcome at the class. I can’t wait to go again!

Wow I love this place! It has such a cosy feel and very welcoming. It feels like a really positive community. The teachers are really friendly, passionate and professional. I have been doing yoga for 25 years and am very happy with this studio. I have had one to one sessions and group classes and the yoga has really helped with my health challenges. I am breathing better, have more energy and feel happier in general. I think the quality of teaching is excellent and it feels very personal too. The plants and the lovely coloured lighting adds to the experience. Even though its an old building it is not cold there, its actually warm and toasty which I appreciate.
