I've been coming to NKD for a few years - the service is absolutely faultless, the staff are so so so friendly, professional and lovely, always a lovely vibe.. great music, lovely rooms, great products. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Nottingham for my treatments :-)

I put off having a hollywood for YEARS after a bad experience and just genuine anxiety! but wow, I wish I’d have done this forever ago. Katie was so warm, friendly, informative, and patient. It was obviously a little uncomfortable but it didn’t hurt lots or leave me sore and red like I have been left in the past. Dare I say I actually enjoyed it?! lol! I 100% will be ditching the razor forever! Looking forward to coming back in 4 weeks - thank you Katie! :-)

It’s a very good salon, luxurious and the staff is very good at what they’re doing. My biggest issue is that they make you pay extra for a small area. For instance, I paid for a Hollywood but they would not use 2 more small wax strips to clean everything around the important areas. I would understand if my whole bum was covered in hair to pay extra for buttocks, but for 2 wax strips… it doesn’t really make sense, especially if you are looking to keep your clients returning. I understand companies need to make profit, but sometimes it is to the detriment of the client's real needs and happiness with the service. I guess that's fine, there's plenty of people who are willing to pay. Special thanks to the ladies who did my waxing in the past(the waxing ladies/girls are amazing!) They had told me I'm a prime candidate for laser hair treatment and thankfully I won't have to wax again for a long time.

Had my first ever intimate wax with Ndk. The lady who did the treatment for me was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job. She made me feel at ease every step of the way! The salon is lovely and clean with great music. The staff were very accommodating with adding on an extra treatment to my booking as well. I found the upselling of the aftercare kit and the virgin wax club a little bit aggressive, however. After refusing the purchase of the aftercare kit at the end of my appointment I was asked why I didn’t want to buy it, which made me feel uncomfortable and put a downer on an otherwise great experience.

Admittedly ran late. However staff member was quite short (why ) with me and I don’t think I’ll be going back didn’t even try and move appointment. Shame as the last lady who looked after me was fab. I was not rude at all. I did however give this review a 3/5 because you have been great previously.- I said thank you and left. There was no resolution or even tried to book me in elsewhere. So you’re wrong. So you were rude and I was not. I won’t be returning as you clearly are liars and are unwilling to look after customers and your staff are unhelpful at best. I actually said thank you and apologised.. But lying to make a review look like I was the problem. I can now understand why you have so many bad reviews. Your staff are short, unhelpful and clearly not helping your case.

Feels very professional, and Macie was really friendly and made me feel really comfortable in what could be an uncomfortable situation. Lots of clarity and support during the appointment and good explaination of aftercare, very impressed!

Katie is always such a pleasure to be with! She makes it super comfortable and little to no pain. Also brill person to have a chat with! Id never go anywhere else!

I have always followed and respected the rules when it comes to cancelling appointments. Unfortunately I had to ring on the day of my appointment (a few hours before not minutes) to rearrange due to a medical emergency. The woman I spoke to was absolutely horrible on the phone…. Really patronising and curt……not ideal when you have just had a seizure but still had the curtesy to ring. The lady just said ‘you can’t rearrange it’s too late…… are you sure you can’t make it??’ I am extremely disappointed at the way you treated me during a medical emergency I couldn’t control. I feel your attitude was discriminatory towards people with medical issues. I wrote you a good review once that I have now deleted. You are an inconsiderate, money grabbing, fake establishment. You still charged a customer who wanted to rearrange an appointment due to an unpredictable medical emergency! I think that is despicable….. you took advantage of me in my weakest moments and I can never forgive that.

The waxing eyebrow service I received was fine. However the customer service was pretty substandard. I felt rushed and patronised at reception when entering the store for the first time. I have never been to a salon before for am eyebrow treatment and this experience has been quite off-putting. I was also booked in for a second appointment without my consent and then charged for it when I did not attend (I was away on holiday at the time so of course would not have consented to this booking. I informed after my first appointment quite clearly that I would like to call and make the appointment myself at my own convenience). As a result I have been charged for a booking I did not make and have not received any apology or reimbursement. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I wouldn’t go anywhere other than NKD for intimate waxing. Macie is the best at what she does and I couldn’t fault her at all! I love coming in for my monthly wax and catch up, she makes me feel so comfortable, the salon is such good vibes and she is always so quick! Also, the salon have been extremely understanding and accommodating whenever I’ve needed to change appointments or there has been a miss understanding, I absolutely have no complaints!
