Excellent bar with live music acts most weeks. Dance floor could be a little bigger. Saw a Def Leppard tribute on Friday night...cracking gig!

A beautiful building next to the impressive Rochdale Town Hall. Regularly have live bands on which creates a very friendly, lively atmosphere. Unfortunately no cask ale. A pity that the council try as hard as they can to discourage people from visiting by having loads of parking restrictions, despite there being plenty of what should be places to park.

Excellent venue. Great attentive staff. Quality entertainment. Went to see Steely Don and they were absolutely fantastic. Great sound and will definitely go back to see them again.

Large venue, plenty of selection of spirits and beers. Some quality entertainment ( some not so good) free before 9pm £3 after administration. Can get busy.

Had a great night with friends, first time here, so didn't know what to expect. I went to a Pink tribute. Which was amazing. Only downside, it was very crowded, but you do feel safe in there with cameras all around and security walking all around.

Our band, The Soul Federation, have played there several times. Always a great atmosphere and drinks choices. Nice people.

Feelgood festival visit, so very busy. Live band playing. So tables not clear or cleaned, though someone did come to clear whilst we were there. Queue at bar. Plus side lots of space and seating. Live band free.

Excellent venue, cracking bands, good prices on the bars, come here a lot ,seen some really good bands which you'd pay £8 upwards to see, not here, top price £3, big venue, belting atmosphere, door staff very pleasant.

It's ok just a bit dirty staff are nice drinks are priced ok considering just the boozy bingo games they need more tables or sell less tickets

I'm a victim of Smith and the Security are playing fruit machines with an Asian who takes 12 year olds upstairs. My birthday with Lisa Stansfield the Queen of Rochdale on my arm. 15 year olds are in this pub

Fantastic venue run by a great team. Welcoming, lively atmosphere, wide selection of beverages, regular local live bands and artists and also host many charity events for the local community.

Only second time I've been to the empire ...been greatly modernised since last visited...but great music venue...saw Dirty DC...Will visit again in the not to distant future 👍

Come here last Friday of the month with work mates it’s always a good night. Have some great acts on staff are friendly enough and it’s not a rip off. Always a great atmosphere and never seen any trouble.

Amazing place, number 1 go to in town. Outside seating over looking the town hall. Family feel atmosphere. Staff can't do enough for you! Weekly live band tributes (are amazing). Drink offers plus separate cocktails bar! Very spacious place. Wednesday is a biker club we're you get to see the Harleys. Great prices aswell! Soft drinks and kid friendly! Definitely give it a try, you will love it!

We went to see.Stax of Soul who we followed many years ago around the Manchester area. Absolutely superb and the venue made for a fantastic night out. Great bar staff at a very busy event

Empire nightclub is a vibrant place to go when in the centre of rochdale, the venue hosts all types of musical entertainment to suit people of all ages, the staff and security make you feel safe and welcome to enjoy a good laugh, get together and sing song in one of rochdales most oldest and iconic buildings. I recommend anyone to visit when in rochdale and I thank all the staff for there courtesy!!!

Best place , watch badness tonight and they were outstanding , place was amazing , drinks cheap , older people mainly , best night finishing a great day in Rochdale

Security staff were great. Bar staff worked hard and dealt with cues well. Glass collector well he was a rude disgusting young man who needs to really work on his attitude. Pina colada cocktails were to die for and worth the money.
