Small museum but packed full of interesting artifacts from local digs. Would recommend swinging by if you're in Market Harborough. It also has lots of child friendly activities.

Small but very interesting. Suits older folks rather than kids. Market Harborough is a lovely town and well served by local shops. No charge for the museum and easy access to a cafe and an ice cream parlour.

Interesting museum, well set out, showing local history and finds, with a temporary exhibition space and a good coffee shop downstairs. Plus dressing up opportunities!

It is very contempory in it's layout and plays host to a wide variety of artefacts and pieces of interesting information. Ideal to bring children; has a dressing up box with top notch period outfits. The gift shop is very quaint and has plenty of sweets!

Fascinating museum on local history of Market Harborough and the surrounding area. Very good set of displays on the town industrial history. Especially interesting was the extensive display of the Iron Age coin collection from Gallatin. This was a huge discovery, and has coins dating from ~ 50 BC. It's amazing when you see the intricacies of the coin designs. There had to be very sophisticated metal working skills to produce these coins.

Not just for a rainy day! There's tons to do and learn here. Combined with the library, coffee shop and all the other things, there's a while half day if fun to be had here. The ladies on reception were extremely helpful and welcoming. The building itself is absolutely spectacular. Go and have a look for yourself!

Really enjoyed looking around the museum. There are lots of different artifacts on view, spanning Roman to 20th century, and different interactive areas, my children enjoyed the dressing up area. There is also a small gift shop with a range of items for sale.

👍 This year, the maze is shaped into a phoenix and the clues dotted around the maze are about mythical creatures. I find the entrance fee a bit high but worth it. It's definitely a fun activity to do for the whole family or with friends on a weekend. Just across is a cafe and deli and toilet facilitie...

👍👍 A great little days outing! Arrived dead on 10am when the park opens. It's great that it wasn't super busy, I'd recommend buying 4 bags of food (at £1 each) as the goats are particularly greedy! Plenty of animals that are ready to greet you eagerly providing you've got a bag of food. The small activ...
