Had lunch, nice surroundings and excellent food. We had garlic bread, chicken burger, and steak. Pre-book as they were turning people away. Service was good too considering they were busy.

Waited 1 hour 15mins for food to arrive. Chicken was overcooked and super dry. No apology from Manager apart from will tell chef

I popped in out of the rain for some lunch and had a very nice meal. The French onion soup was excellent, and the steak baguette was a credit too. The steak was very tender and hardly needed any chewing. My only criticism, though personal, is the onion chutney, should have been served warm. But that's my opinion.

Go here frequently for breakfast. On the whole happy with quality (hence regular customer). Today attended to find menu has changed removing the full breakfast option, so you can only order a Grand Breakfast. Sorry but fail to see the point in that decision. Yes you get more ...but it costs more. Having elderly parent, they struggled with the portion, and left fair bit (waste). Nice if you're hungry and want a large breakfast, but let's have the normal full breakfast option back on please! No mushrooms either..oh dear..

Anazing food and very friendly service. Its a place to go if your hungry or just a snack. The decor is lovely too and very stylish. The staff are amazing and nothing us too much trouble they tell you from the start if something is not available on the menu too. You can have anything from burgers too French cuisine. Visited for breakfast, service was very poor. Extremely slow, waiter stank of cigarettes and was generally very unprofessional. Coffee was the worst I’ve ever been served. Food was good by comparison, genuinely pleasant breakfast of reasonable value for the size. Whole place looked and felt dirty and tired. Don’t believe for one second that it is still a 5 Star for hygiene.

Simply put it a poor performance from them. As a restaurant of this standard you'd have high expectations of the service, unfortunately I did not receive this from my experience. At the beginning it was fine, the usual waiter service that you'd expect, we ordered our food and drinks. Eventually things became concerning as the starters did not come together. After the starters we sat waiting for About 30mins and wondered where our main courses were so we notified the staff about this. Finally after about over an HOUR of waiting we then asked them again and the same reply of "it's coming". We then proceeded to wait impatiently. An HOUR and 10mins of waiting, the food finally came, yet some of our starters still weren't here, the food was pretty average to be honest, nothing that should be priced at what they charge, we then spoke to the manager, and explained the situation, all they said was a simple sorry and that they would speak to the chefs, and that was it, seemed like a half arsed apology from the manager, she just stood there in silence, and the bill came late too. Overall quite appalled by my experience.

Went in for breakfast, empty restaurant - party of 4 ahead of us with no booking were seated, we were told no tables available until basically breakfast time was finished. Walked out disappointed, I went on the booking app and apparently there was a table for 3 available half an hour after we were there. Absolutely no desire from the staff to assist us in any way. As a family, we would ordinarily have breakfast at this establishment every time we visited the centre, well Cafe Rouge you can thank your Cheshire Oaks staff for losing a customer for good.

Had to walk out as time they took to just give us a few drinks was awful. Introduced us to a scan app to ensure our service was quick and we felt because we didn't wish to do this we were waiting longer. Should not take so long to even take an order and feel pressured to use apps . What happened to personal customer service , we are regulars to this cafe, if this is there current system we wont be visiting again. Disappointing

They offer you fresh products and varieties of option in food. You can get various products at an affordable price. The place is also clean and tidy. The staff are also friendly and attentive. Although it's a small store they have everything that you need for making food. It's a nice place to shop.

Horrendously slow service despite only having 6 covers in the whole restaurant. Cafe rouge is one of my favourite little treats but today it was so slow.

Café Rouge is a French-styled restaurant chain, that serves a range of inoffensive food and drinks. The food is ok, not amazing. I'd say it's on a par with a well known pub chain (spoons), but the prices are more reflective of an upmarket restaurant. This Cafe Rouge was quite when we arrived and we were quickly seated by an attentive waitress (Rachel) who quickly established if we had any allergies and told us about the various offers available. Service was very good, but, the food was so so. My youngest ordered Macaroni cheese from the kids menu and she couldn't eat it. She's a bit of a Mac n cheese fanatic, so this was a bit of a let down. However, our waitress removed it from the bill. I'm aware that Cafe Rouge hit financial troubles a while ago, and I suspect that unless they up their game in the kitchen, they're going to struggle to grow beyond where they are today.

Lovely early evening meal. High quality presentation and taste exceeded our expectations. Great service provided by Josh - a really great meal and atmosphere. Definitely worth the journey out. Will visit again.

This place looked so beautiful from the outside. There was food and everything. Inside, happy people. I didn't really feel confident enough to go in. I dream that someday I might.

We love café rouge, however we will never be visiting this one again. The staff were abrupt, rude, confrontational and condescending. We went there for a meal to celebrate my wifes birthday. My mother-in-law had collected cash vouchers specifically for café rouge. When we go we usually have a 2 or 3 course set menu and drinks. Firstly, when we got there were ushered to our table and pressd immediately for our drinks choices, undecided we asked for more time and were never offered any more drinks. We highlighted we had a certain amount of cash as vouchers, and were told we were not allowed to use the set menu, this was not correct, we tried to complain that our vouchers were specific café rouge cash vouchers (i.e. not tesco vouchers). At which point the server became confrontational. We left it and ordered from the all day menu. Disgusted that the server had treated us this way and her attitude ruined our meal experience. The food was good as always, when we came to pay we presented our vouchers, and were told, sorry these aren't the vouchers i thought you were using. These are normal cash vouchers and could be redeemable against the set menu. The manager gave us a small deduction from the bill to try to apologise. However the meal was already ruined by the terrible staff. If you are a fan of café rouge, go elsewhere.

Mediocre early dinner. 50% service was gruff. 50% was v good. Roll for chicken burger was tough as leather. Tbh a Macdonalds would have been better. Just not enough quality to justify the cost. Nice place tho.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday evening, our table was booked for 7.30pm. There were 6 tables in total occupied, the whole evening. Firstly the food was delicious , when it was finally received. Seconly the service was awful, we ordered our food, a starter and main course a few minutes after sitting down, then we waited and waited. There were 2 young ladies serving the tables and a man, who I presumed was the manager, who stood around the bar area, drying glasses etc and talking. As I mentioned there were only 6 tables occupied, at no point did 3 members of staff not notice we didn't have any food! At 8.15pm I went over to the bar to ask were our food was and how long it would be, they all seemed surprised we didn't have any. The manager went into the kitchen, come back to us to advise our order did not go through to the chef and offered free drink each, we were starving!!The food eventually came, couldn't fault it. When we came to pay after a rushed 3 courses, it closes at 9pm, our order had been put on the wrong table number so we had a different bill, then we were using tesco vouchers, it would only use our £30 voucher and not accept 4 other vouchers. The manager really needs to give the service a shake up, absolutely awful. A real pity as we wouldn't go back again after receiving such poor service.

This was incorporated in a trip to Cheshire Oaks. We decided to have a full breakfast. Which was delicious. The service was very good and the waiter Mike was very attentive. To be honest all the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this place and we will be back.

was very quiet on the Saturday eve we went. staff were lovely. food was ok, i had pate to start which was nice, then burger, nothing special, other half had soup, said more like packet with added onions, then duck, which he said was nice. had creme brulee n was disappointed, sugar top was not crisp. sadly don't think we'd go back in a hurry

On looking at the menu I decided on the fish cakes, when the lady came she told us the Fish Cakes and the Fish had all gone, I do not eat meat so I was stuck, she mentioned the salmon. We both had the Onion Soup, it was delicious , and decided on the salmon for mains, the salmon was so beautifully cooked and presented. Wonderful meal. The lady who served us was really friendly, I think she was the manageress. we really had a good chat. Wonderful place, the atmosphere and the decor was outstanding. The food to die for. Thank you so much for such kind hospitality, Sadly a rarity these days. We shall of course return, naturally it is very popular, so make a booking. Take Care. Be Safe. KInd Regards. Pamela

Amazing service, really tasty food. Restaurant was busy, but found us a table straight away. When there was a delay on the food (due to another customer being celiac and so needing a full clean between services) which we hadn't noticed, our server was straight across to let us know why and that it would be along soon. You don't really expect the level of friendliness and professionalism in an outlet park restaurant. But we got far better than expected.
