husband went twice to A&E because of unbearable pain in lower back and whole leg he couldnโ€™t sit nor sleep or drive due to severe pain was already having most pain killers prescribed by GP but he was getting worse instead of getting better, he was turned down twice by a male nurse in A&E didn't even checked his stats and sent him back home saying we donโ€™t see people here for such problems unless you have life threatening condition, what a joke , if they canโ€™t treat people with empathy and care may be they shouldnโ€™t be in this field in the first place.. what if my husband is being diagnosed with something serious later on then whose gonna be responsible for that? We pay taxes but donโ€™t get to be seen when we need them the most such a shame.

Have been in there recently with my niece. She had to have emergency surgery and due to her being 16 someone had to stay the night, I took her mum off arounf 10pm and the staff were second to non! So helpful, caring and reassuring. 8y amazing especially the night staff thay were on that day, helpful kind and even offered me hot drinks and gave me something comfier to sleep on. The anesthetic guy, surgeons and the the recover staff afterwords thank you so much for keeping her calm and explaining everything. Also a big thank you to the porters amazing sense of humour and great work again.

My Dad was treated here (transferred from Whiston) after suffering clots to the brain and bilateral stroke leaving him severely disabled. His initial treatment on HDU was good, but when he was transferred to 7A/B (Covid wards) after contracting Covid in hospital his treatment was appalling. I had to force my way onto his ward (despite there being no visitors allowed during Covid) to bring him food and drinks, as he was left for hours on end and not seen to by nurses. Nurses would ask him if he wanted food and if he said 'no' (despite him having a sign behind his bed that stated he had cognitive impairment), they would leave him to starve even when he didn't understand the question!!! I saw other patients on the ward who were curled up in their bed unable to feed themselves, and they would be left a rotten sandwich on their bedside table, when they clearly couldn't pick it up or feed themselves so they were essentially being left to rot. It still haunts me at night thinking about it knowing there will be patients stuck there without family to help them, being left like that in a hospital where they are vulnerable, and fully reliant on medical staff to look after them, it is heartbreaking. I witnessed a nurse refusing a patient food and telling him he was nil by mouth, when in actual fact he had been for his op earlier in the day and had returned to the ward, so he was no longer nil by mouth and needed feeding. The level of care I was seeing with my own eyes was third world. In the end I argued with my Dad's specialists to let him be discharged as I knew he would be much better receiving care at home. Not even sure he had any fully qualified nurses on his ward, the odd few people I did see were healthcare assistants. They are spread extremely thin which I understand, but the ones I did see completely lacked any sort of empathy, didn't really have a caring nature, spent more time gossiping with each other than actually tending to patients needs, shouldn't have gone into the medical profession.

They will let you die on a chair in the triage room, it happened 4 times in 6 months when I had to wait between 5-7 and 12 hours each visit in the end to be sent home without a prescription, a pill or a discharge letter. The staff is clueless and unprofessional, sometimes rude. If you have the chance, stay away. They just pretend to know what they're doing when in fact they just discover medicine on the spot. Get yourself a flight ticket to another country, it will take the same amount of time to get seen by a doctor

I had a very bad experience in this hospital. I came with my husband he was having high fever ,chest congestion, throat pain . We got there in an ambulance ,booked with the GP .sat there for too long and no body else called his name . He was even loosing his consciousness. I've talked to number of nurses there about his severe health condition and nobody helped. It's better to be dead at home than to be in this hospital. Come to India and they will take good care of patients.

Not the best patient care when you say to a 78yo woman at the second triage stage in A&E (3 hours after registering in): "It will be while yet till you see a doctor, but if you feel that bad, then you won't mind waiting will you?" - Triage nurse

Canโ€™t rate the NEW Royal enough. For the first time, my partner was able to leave the car at the drop-off spot and walk me into the hospital. Absolutely love the separate rooms per patient. Everything was 100% better. Iโ€™m in hospital every 12-months, at the old Royal my anxiety would hit the roof. The new layout, the ability and space for relatives to come with you. Itโ€™s really helped me with my treatment. Thank you .

Might be a new hospital but still very bad treatment for patients. Staff not trained to use equipment and cases of staff trying to give wrong medication..not many information signs up massive queues at Costa bar. Many trolleys in corridors with patients waiting to be seen in A and E bit of a disgrace for new hospital ๐Ÿฅ

My gorgeous little sister Annie died on the 22nd November 2019. From the minute Annie went into the RLH hospital. Annie had the best care that money could not buy. Annie became ill suddenly at home and sadly passed away 13 hours later. Annie had learning difficulties and was treated wiith such care and compassion andprofessionalism from the lady who bought the tea around to the nurses doctors consultants who tried so hard to make sure they gave Annie every chance to survive. This made a dreadful situation so much better Annie passed away with dignity she was comfortable and pain free. This made her passing so much easier So thank you to everyone who had a hand in Annis care.Thank you to the bereavmeny staff who showed such compassion towards Annie thank you is not enough for the amazing staff who work under a lot of pressure.

UPDATE ON THE REVIEW BELOW: Against our wishes, and despite multiple pleas and two complaints, the hospital continued to keep my mum captive in hospital. The passed away. Excuse after excuse until the very end. I hope this poignant story is a warning to other families, and I hope nobody goes through the pain and suffering at the hands of this hospital that my family has been through. ___________ Against our wishes, my mum has been kept in hospital for five weeks now, despite her being fine to be discharged. Excuse after excuse after excuse, beyond the limits of tolerance. The ward has been known to ignore our phone calls (which we know, because we've rang immediately after on a different number and they picked up). We're losing hope of them releasing her from what is now nothing less than captivity. We were told we couldn't even visit her for a while - total isolation from her family, which is inhumane. We now want her released, as this is now beyond ridiculous!!

Longer term review as I had major cancer surgery at The Royal 5 years ago and today had my yearly assessment. Delighted to say that all is well and thatโ€™s it for a further 12 months! From my experience over the 5 years this is a World Class hospital. Very professional, competent and caring staff who do amazing work. Thank you all.

I worked in 5 different hospitals in 2 countries. This is the worst hospital ever, by far. The building should've been tore down years ago, but they can't put the new building together. The ward has a water leak every month, you will never see all lifts working at the same time, no ward has enough functioning oxygen fittings for every patient, the bays are crammed and you have to avoid some kind obstacle every time you need to wash your hands as all of the few sinks there are poorly placed and usually unreachable. On top of that, there are drug dealers in the main entrance of the building nearly every day. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not even to my worst enemy. God save the Northwest...

I used my passport as a form of ID however it somehow disappeared during my stay as an inpaitient and was not returned with my belongings upon discharge leaving me to foot the bill to reapply for a new passport despite me still having 5 years left on my stolen passport. Calls to their care and quality line were a waste of time because the operator hung up on me. Their medical students are allowed to treat paitients with no supervision. A particular nurse by the name of Laura was very unprofessional, by telling me I had a case of verbal diarrhea. I made a complaint on the ward and nothing was done. The individual was allowed to continue her training using me as her guniea pig. At one point I was unable to speak and the poorly trained staff would simply use me to practice inserting cannulas without even introducing themselves and explain what procedures they were about to do, and because they were inexperienced it was highly distressing because I did not give consent and they violated my rights. Their medical students are all disrespectful and rude. Their HCA's ,especially the ones of a particular nationality were also rude and mannerless. speaking to me and chastising me as though I was a child. Because I was temporarily unable to speak they would begin sponge bathing me without introducing themselves and explaining what they were going to do and I could not give consent. My name was on my paitient file so they knew what my name was however these unscrupulous women were too busy speaking in their foreign language amongst themselves. The only time they spoke english was when they were being insultive towards me. Disgusting attitude from students and HCA's. Horrific care standards.

I have always found this a brilliant hospital with very attentive staff. A lot of peoe have bad reviews - 95 % are due to the under funding of the NHS and management and staff having to stretch said funds too fat and very thinly, consequently some areas suffer. It really is a bad state of affairs the way this current government treats NHS staff, despicable in fact!!!

Excruciating waiting time just to be told that because my blood results were โ€˜normalโ€™ i was medically well and had โ€˜nothing wrongโ€™. Absolute incompetency at its best. I was completely dismissed by a rude, on the phone, member of staff. Despite being physically and both mentally unwell they did not want to treat me. Better off dead than coming here for any type of help

Very busy as always. Need separate places for mental health patients and vulnerable patients. I was seen by someone who give me steroids to help me breath a bit better. Telling me if I have anymore pain to come back and be seen again. I have returned with pains in my chest wall back and front. Nurse tells me that she don't think I need to see a doctor but will do a ecg. 2 hours later still waiting on a ecg, I could of been having a angina attack or heartattack. Just leaving me sitting in the waiting room. Not happy at all.

They literally have destroyed all my veins during bloodworks lol. However the orthopedics group is good, and also many of the doctors I have met are knowledgeable and polite. If get admitted they have an a la carte menu (for free) where you choose what food you want and come three times a day for coffee tea and snacks. I literally ate ice cream every afternoon. But pls don't destroy people's blood vessels or at least put emla so I don't feel the destruction. train those damn phlebotomy nursessss. Oh and also the A&E has a long waiting queue all the times but the triage model is much better than other UK public hospitals.

I was in A&E on Sunday and back in all the next day. Its a heatwave and covid numbers are high and I was quite nervous as I was on my own. Every single member of staff was amazing, clear, calm, reassuring, not just the medical staff but also other staff members going about their day who noticed me not knowing where to go and took time to ask if I was alright and direct me. There were also people making sure we were all hydrated too. Going to be back a few more times while I get better but I know I'll be in amazing hands, thank you

Staff are friendly (although very visibly busy) but this doesnโ€™t excuse the place looking like it houses more disease than it curesโ€ฆ Itโ€™s a run down dump of a place, toilets are not clean eitherโ€ฆ the NHS should consider revising its middle-heavy hierarchy, laying off some of the redundant overpaid middle management that have settled in a role for life and hire more on the front lines/bottom of the ladder and consider a refurbishment initiativeโ€ฆ. So much money wasted in the middle.. Disgusting hospital

Very disappointed with the service in new a &e. After being taken by ambulance, I was transferred to the dept, nurse wasn't listening to ambulance staff as they handed over. Despite suffering from extreme dizziness and nausea I was pushed at high speed by the nurse to general waiting area which was dirty, stunk of smoke, toilets dirty, receptionist on mobile phone with feet up on desk, left there for 6 hours before being seen, was told after medication I needed to be monitored, so stuck back out in same waiting room for another 4 hours. Staff spoke as I'd we were an inconvenience, felt no empathy. Do not wish to return

My lovely mum had a stroke - the ambulance arrived within minutes. There was a competent and quick diagnosis by the ambulance paramedics. On arrival at the hospital A and E , she was quickly seen by the nurses from the acute stroke ward who actioned all the necessary scans and assessments - carried out with professionalism and kindness. She was kept clean and comfortable in A and E - she had become incontinent - the auxiliary nurses changed nightdresses and bedding uncomplainingly.. Then she was on the acute stroke ward for 5 days . The care she received cannot be criticised - it was excellent. She passed - the struggle was too much. Her care in the final days and hours was exemplary. God bless the staff . If you are reading this, please disregard newspaper reports about this hospital and do something to protect our NHS.

I arrived to the hospital, with the ambulance, unable to bread without the oxygen mask, and the option that I was given is either to wait for 6 hours or just go back home. TWICE!! It's Thanks to the paramedic, that came with the ambulance, that I was able to have an appointment at the walk in Centre in old swan. And finally had a visit by the doc. An hospital to has to one of the safest place for a person, and yet I felt alone and not understood I'm never go back to this hospital

The hospital is new, but still it's an old hospital design wise, from conception to construction it's been a bumpy ride, a lot of the problems probably could have been nipped in the bud, it's a bit confusing to navigate, it is well signed but you still have to know what you want or need to get there, the staff have trouble navigating through the building, the staff are excellent, couldn't be nicer if they tried, I was helped through to where I needed to go by 2 lovely volunteers, first Barbra and then Gillian, ๐Ÿ˜‰ thank you both so much, parking as always is a nightmare, and the journey to the hospital from prescot Street isn't a good one as the kerb is very narrow and the drivers coming into the hospital don't slow down and don't observe the crossing markings,

My mum had attended A&E Saturday 16th May 2020 around 4:30pm along with my brother for support. Receptionist where helpful and booked my mum in. However when she was triaged by a nurse, her experiance was awful as a patient who suffers with anxiety. The nurse refused my mums admission and had no time for her she was more or less forced to leave soon as possible. Even after the triage nurse was informed about my mums complex medical history and current symptoms and the fact that she was advised by the GP to attend A&E to get bloods and scan done. The nurse refused to listen and spoke very rudley to mum and my brother. My mum came home shook, anxious and upset. This is unacceptable for a nurse to treat a patient in this manner, it shocks me to think this has happend especially during this crisis we are in. And no one deserve to be treated in this way it is appalling and extremely disgraceful. We as a family are very concerned and upset about our mum.

I've never been a fan of the Royal, but last night I managed to dislocate, fracture, and break my finger and the care I received in the A&E department was exemplary. Staff were friendly and reset my mangled finger with some insane levels of skill - I'm a wuss, and I did not even cry once! The decor could do with an update, but I was seen to quickly. Very happy with the whole process. Do not recommend mangling your finger, but if you do this is the place to go to get it fixed ๐Ÿ˜‚

Unbelievable, that my mum have taken to a hospital today with ambulance for possible heart problems and they told her to wait for 7 hours ???!!!! She was not seen by a doctor, not EKG done, nothing ! Waiting room full of drunk people accompanied by police officers, shouting, dancing and my mum have to wait, because of this??? Thank God for ambulance services, who are the only one who are always professional and care about people ! They recognised that she have heart problem and give her medicines that helped her a bit. But that's all, hospital let her in a waiting room, with drunk people and that's all from their care ! Unbelievable ! The only thing they do is asking you for covid symptoms all over again ! How come that she was not seen by a doctor when ambulance recognise heart problem ??? They didn't even examined her, just sent her to waiting room!!! One of the drunk men start to take off his clothes in front of her ! And no one cared ! No one even checked on jer to make sure she is ok, was no one there ! This hospital is getting worse and worse !

A fairly poor emergency department, being one of, if not the largest emergency department for Liverpool there was a massive lack of blankets and the building was massively overcrowded, with some people being treated in the corridors. The automatic door was broken (and clearly had been for a while) so staff were required to push it open and closed.

New Hospital is style over substance. The car park is a nightmare, and the overall layout of the hospital, plus the lack of signage, makes it very easy to get lost. I had a relative who was hospitalised, Ward was filthy, relatives are forced to do the cleaners job. While he was in a delerious state, the staff were abusive and neglectful and lied about their conduct after the fact. It's appaling to think that a brand new hospital is somehow worse than the former buidling that was practically falling apart at the seams.

One of the worst hospitals Iโ€™ve ever been to. The staff are have no idea what they doing they clearly should go back to school. They donโ€™t care about peopleโ€™s well being they rude and treat you like dirt. This hospital should be ashamed

After a recent stay in the Royal I felt obliged to write a review of this great hospital. Even under the strain of a pandemic, my care never felt compromised and I'm extremely grateful for their help. A huge thank you to the staff on ward 8Y for looking after me and their professionalism. You also should be paid danger money for the things you have to deal with.

Seems a well organised building and several volunteers available at main entrance to help. Masks (which are mandatory ) and lotion as you enter. Radiography was pretty quick but no mobile signal here and poor in other parts of the building. Did have a long wait to see a consultant though ๐Ÿ˜• and no parking available only a drop off at main entrance.

Today I forgot to bring my badge to enter the hospital carpark.I am a staff who pays ยฃ40 something every month and today I am attending A&E to have my knee check because i am in so much pain but the man who is working at 07:20 am 30/10/21 is so cruel not to let me in.We are working so hard for people when they come in the hospital but today because i forgot my badge this man is not so considerate to let me in.A colleague came to help and spoke to the same man but still he is so hatd even if it is an emergency case because i couldn't go far to park and walk towards the hospital with my painful knee.A colleague advised for me to park in Lindamac and just informed my manager.

Went in with severe right side pains. Had chest X-ray came back clear then went home thinking am dreaming the pain seen Gp she rushed me to Fazak hospital with severe phenomena. Funny thing was the X-ray Fazak looked at was from the royal Liverpool that said there wasnโ€™t anything wrong with me. Wouldnโ€™t trust the royal again admitted for a weeks stay in Fazak hospital.

I have mixed feelings about this hospital. In 2019 had an amazing experience in A&E after a fall down the stairs they did all the testing and thanks to that detected a tumor in my thyroid which got operated upon very soon. Then 2020 hit and pandemic came and had no follow up for it, neither from them or my gp which has led to me being diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism in Scotland in 2022 and having to start treatment. Not just that, had a work accident and slipped 2 discs. First doctor that saw me in A&E told me from the beginning that is what she thought was happening but couldn't do scans or anything due to covid which I understood and sent me home with treatment but as the pandemic eased I had no response to treatment my gp was not doing anything and I had to go back to A&E one day after I was not able to walk due to how much pain I was on. The paramedics were incredible and they took me very seriously but once in the hospital... abandoned in a room for hours and hours, had to beg to be catheterised when my bladder stopped responding and I couldn't urinate and the nurse was extremely rude about it. She even took my alarm button because I kept pressing it to get them to put the catheter as my bladder was filling up and the pain was horrible! Then the morning after they come to discharge me. No explanation, no meds, nothing. They told me everything was normal on the mri. But when I asked for the report, the report confirmed 2 discs slipped but said "shouldn't cause so much pain". Was like a slap in the face! Took the report and went private.... result, second MRI confirms 2 discs slipped in lumbar trapping nerves and causing a lot of pain, surgery to fix it and I'm back to normal now. Was a horrible experience. Being overworked shouldn't mean stop caring. Shouldn't mean mistreat your patients.

Removing all the deadbeats and smack heads from the front of the building should be high on the hospitals agenda. AMC should do a new series of the Walking Dead around the Royal, the show wouldn't be short of prospective cast members. Ps I am from Liverpool too so this isn't an anti scouse review.

Just been at the โ€˜newโ€™ Royal Hospital, very refreshing to be finally treated as a person and not just a โ€˜person with alcohol problemsโ€™! But disappointed that I had this patient in front of me (on a trolley in the corridor) who kept reiterating that sheโ€™s a nurse! Well guess what love - even nurses get ill! Youโ€™re just another human being like us, because sheโ€™s a nurse - she expected special treatment, and thatโ€™s what she got unfortunately! Got her scan/x Ray before others, well I used to pay out DHSS girocheques, but I certainly wouldnโ€™t expect mine first!!!! She was an absolute pain in the arse, moaning, telling a doctor that they โ€˜werenโ€™t listening to herโ€™ Unfortunately staff pandered to her, whilst Iโ€™m behind (on my trolley) going unnoticed!!! And there were pensioners on trolleys for hours and hours, whilst this no set got special treatment WRONG ON ALL LEVELS! She was down for an x rag within hours, others had been waiting more than a day! Disgusting

I would like to compliment Dr Ramesh and Dr Skouras who completed my POEM procedure at Liverpool Royal Hospital, Endoscopy, on Monday 2nd October 2023. They were absolutely fantastic and explained everything to me very well. The whole team in the procedure room were fantastic and very friendly. Good follow up procedure and ensured all my questions were answered. Must add the staff in Ward 4a were brilliant. To mention Alina, Nicy and Joben were great. Overall a very satisfied patient and a great experience. Please pass on my message to the team.

This review is purely about the building and its access and is not a review of the staff or the services provided. Public access ways to the new hospital are really poor. Accessing the drop-off point is awful. The recommended car park, if you follow the signage, is a 5 minute, 1 mile drive away. If you walk to the main entrance from Prescot St. as a pedestrian, you can not walk down the ramp as it is only for cars going to the drop-off point. You have to negotiate an outdoor flight of stairs or use an outdoor lift (there is only one, so hopefully it's always working). The hospital is crammed into a very tight space. Crazy design and too small for purpose. Clinic waiting areas are also too small. Very disappointing.

I've just got out of this place, I ended up walking out. With no diagnosis still and that's after going in there at 5pm tonight I asked for a cup of water , I never got one , so now I have to sit in silence worrying what's wrong with me , I would never turn down anyone for a drink of water , I did buy a coffyand cheese on toast that was ยฃ7 down the drain , , but if you want to be treated like a human being don't go to the Royal Liverpool Hospital and some people reading this might think it's my own fault for not waiting, but how long do you wait before you get treated with dignity and respect. The same thing they ask for , plus is it now toouch to ask to be seen by a doctor so you can feel better , and be treated better , I won't happen in the Royal Liverpool Hospital for sure

Donโ€™t take relative or loved ones here unless you want them dead. This has to be the worst hospital Iโ€™ve ever come across. Staff are rude, inexperienced, make careless mistakes, which have resulted to serious matter which are classed as negligence, which I wonโ€™t go into ( but not just once but multiple times) no one knows how to communicate effectively with one another or to other departments within the hospital. Cannot take information down correctly or have any listening skills, ( which had lead to incorrect discharge notes eg. Date admitted to hospital and discharge date and cannot give an actual diagnosis. Said itโ€™s one thing and then said itโ€™s something else then said they donโ€™t know when the test confirms what the diagnosis is..amateurs. Starve the patients in hospital only offering them dry toast and sandwiches. On the same hand telling them they need to eat. Long waiting times. Long waits to receiving medication e.g waiting 7 hours for pain relief cause they want to give everyone their treatment at the sametime which isnโ€™t effective. Cannulas being put incorrectly for 17hours. ( patient telling staff but donโ€™t want to listen stating itโ€™s in correct. There excuse is their over stretched and understaff so thatโ€™s okay to be rude to patients and neglect them ok.. really the hospital deserve no stars but no such thing as 0 stars. Someone really needs to replan their thinking strategy and put staff on intense training courses and if over stretched hire agency until your able to hire more staff. Better than having no staff at all, your funeral. As you can see from the picture arm is swollen does that look like a cannula thatโ€™s been put in properly..I rest my case. Rude member of staff in pals surname Horrocks who was rude to myself and my child. When I mentioned, she was rude wanted to make a formal complaint. she ignored me which I will be filing. ( just because you deal with complaints, doesnโ€™t give you the right to be rude. Suppose to solve complaints not add to the complaint ) funny woman

Just took a seat in an empty waiting area whilst waiting for a friend and told to move on. This multi million pound investment that I have part funded through 40 years of paying tax needs to teach its staff to have some modicum of humanity/common sense. Also no local parking. Badly thought through the whole place. Many people who come to hospital are ill and so are many visitors. The staff car park is however readily accessible.

I have nothing but praise for the medical staff during recent visits, however trying to reclaim my travel expenses at the general office turned into a traumatic situation. In spite of making the staff aware of my autism I wasn't given the common courtesy of being allowed to compete my sentence before bring interrupted. From my point of view I would imagine anyone would find that annoying, as a vulnerable adult who finds communicating I did. For anyone in my situation trying to do the same I would suggest that some kind of refresher course would be helpful because I really don't want to visit the general office on my next visit. I don't want others to be in this situation either. I hope someone reads this, it is I repeat not a complaint about the medical staff. To them I'm very appreciative

    Unqualified nurses and emergency gp; they say they are cardiologists just to later find out they were gps. Providing false data, take patients in after 8-10 hours for a quick conversation letโ€™s patients go as they came bec they are supposed to say you are ok; even falsify ecg to suit them; very dirty place; if you are sick it s best to avoid;

  • 3/5 Lucia H. 1 year ago on Google
Due to GP and Pharmacist not providing medication I had severe reactions including heart, chest, dizziness. The Royal did my vitals immediately and gave me an ecg. So thank you to the specialists and nurses. I then obviously had to wait further another several hours which I partly expected however at my age I could not do it. I did notice the A/E waiting areas were very poor. Crowded seating areas not enough seats the extended area smelt of rotten drains. The place looked disheveilled from reception desks to the waiting areas. The refreshment machines were not fully working. Police running in and out people smoking near reception. I had to breath a load of smoke in before getting into a taxi. I don't smoke. It was chaos; a poor student medical person had to tell people that the wait was 8 hours some people looked so ill, one young man sitting on the floor shivering. I slept for a bit then had to get out and rest at home. Very sad for all involved. I think there was a staffing issue.

Despite the hospital itself being a bit tucked away in no-mans land, it's a nice bright hospital. The layout is a bit confusing at first but once you understand the colour coding it's fine. The staff within the clinics are lovely as are the clinicians. The Emergency department could do with a rethink as does not cater for people with mobility, circulation or back issues.

Today I had an ECG in the hospital, and everyone was so nice and helpful, from the receptionists to the lady who done the actual ECG. She just made me feel so safe and she was super nice and human. I donโ€™t remember her name, but god bless her. She was amazing ๐Ÿฅฐ thank you

I had to visit the A&E department last night what a nightmare, it was at least a 4 hour wait, the waiting room was full of rubbish all over the floor and it was full of drunk, abusive people with no security in sight. The nurses that were calling people's names were very quiet and lots of people must have missed their turn. We left in the end without being seen because it was getting very uncomfortable. They need a better system because elderly people must be very frightened by sitting in the waiting room and also not hearing their name being called.

๐Ÿ˜ Staff where all grat but the hospital itself was a really awkward to mavigate. If it's your first time there, get there in plenty of time for your appointment. Lots of walking and trying to figure out the way.
