Awful admin and reception staff. Rude and obnoxious, and most definitely not helpful. Disgusting. If I could give 0 I would. They leave patients without medication, the don't care at all about you. Please don't ever think about joining, it's an absolute shambles of a GP surgery. Stay away!!!! Karl is a disgrace of a human, denied my child water when he had a funny turn waiting for the doctor, was rude and horrible. I asked a nurse and she helped right away. I had forgotten my mask they turned me away, I had asked for one the wouldn't give me one. Pharmacy next door amazing and was quick to give me one in flash. Sad we live in a world with people like this. Doctors are absolutely wonderful but this practice is let down with reception staff 100%

My friend rang to ask if a doctor would come out to do a home visit as she was having problems walking. The receptionist (jill/Gill) asked her why if the doctor had spoken with her previously on the Friday didn't she mention this to her! My 80 year old friend started to explain herself when the receptionist again asked why she hadn't spoken with the doctor about her condition on Friday. I could see my friend getting upset so she handed me the phone. Again she asked why didn't she speak with the doctor on Friday about this. I then said to Jill why are you speaking to her like that as it's irrelevant anyway as she needs a home visit. Jill then said that the doctor isn't doing home visits. This is clearly a lie. Isn't my friends conversation that she had with her doctor about her medical condition private anyway?! And if so why is this Jill reading her notes?! How dare this jill decide on whether my friend should see a doctor or not. Who has given her this authority to do this?! Not only was she being very patronising towards my friend she was making medical decisions. My friend is very depressed and Jill was not at all sympathetic towards her in any shape or form. I do hope that she never speaks to someone like that who could be potentially be suicidal. I will be taking this matter further

They are a very busy clinic with limited staff and a never ending barrage of daft covid questions that could easily be answered online as opposed to incessant telephone calls. These are trying times and you should appreciate what you have as they are doing their level best. All these silly comments are annoying as I'm a medic myself and I understand the workload, just for one patient never mind thousands on a handful of GP's. Be respectful and appreciate what you have, we could be I'm america paying mega bucks for private medical but we aren't. We have the best trained doctors nurses, physios and HCA's in the world. Rant over.

The Warren's medical centre.... Well what can I say, this medical centre is so badly run.... Receptionists don't even know how to treat patients and are so rude. I'm half way through my pregnancy, and I have currently moved address, I went in prior to my GP app isn't working whilst picking up my prescription next door at thingwall pharmacy, and went to put my repeat prescription in next door at the doctor's, because it's on a batch of 6 to 7 months for my medication. I asked the receptionist about my GP app isn't working, she just said that your no longer a patient here, and I also asked about my medication that I put in as a repeat prescription and she just said that want be there either. This medical centre is an absolute joke and a disgrace.

5 stars for medical care - the doctors and nurses are incredibly helpful and welcoming. 0 stars for practice management and admin. It's impossible to actually contact anyone in the practice - phone rings out constantly, there's no email to contact anyone, and using Patient Access doesn't work as details that are correct don't match what's supposedly in their system, so you have to call them, and then the phone rings out over and over....

The Dr's at this surgery are actual super heroes. Dr syvret deserves a cape she's so fantastic. And the reception staff are quite brilliant too. Well deserved 5*s for the whole place 👍

Told them I moved address and they struck me and my newborn son off there list where I had no doctors and had to go to the hospital when he was ill. Worse gp surgery on the area, shouldn't have to move to another surgery when I have moved 5 minutes further and I will never require a house visit with the gp. The midwives are also shocking here they failed to pick up on my bump being extremely small so I was never admitted to hospital for growth scans, it's only that I nearly had pre-eclampsia they referred me to hospital where I then had to deliver my baby at 36 weeks at under 2kg who was referred to NICU! Stay away from this surgery it seems they are taking everyone off there list as this has happened to alot of people I know. The receptionists are also very rude and don't give you a appointment when u really need one instead of giving them to old people who don't need them give them to someone who actually needs one. My mum phoned 2 weeks ago to book one as she could not walk and had severe back pain she was told there was no appointments for 4 weeks. I then had to take my mum to arrowe Park to be seen there for sciatica, they were disgusted that this gp practice never gave her a appointment. STAY AWAY!

This practice is taking on line technology to the limit. How can an 83 year old with limited IT knowledge be expected to use PATCHES? DIY Blood pressure readings to be entered also. What happened to patient care? This will drive more people to Walk in Centres Disgraceful

I too find it impossible to get an appointment within a reasonable time. I cannot book a review appointment in four weeks as advised by GP after consultation as they don't book that far ahead. Why not ? Reply, " because they don't know what they will be doing then". Pardon ? Are you serious ? I was told to ring again in two weeks to book the appointment from then. Why ? When I tried to see another GP I was told they were full for three weeks ! Someone has a twisted sense of the ridiculous with ignorance of maths.

Awful phone queuing system barely takes enough calls before giving an engaged tone. For the size of the practice they need to employ more Admin as there aren't enough to answer phones and man front desk or cover during lunch hours when they actually close, in 2021 services should not get cease for lunch. Admin staff are friendly though. Update reducing to 1 star I've been trying to get an email address ALL day but phone line is either engaged or makes you queue and then they pick up the phone and drop it, 3 times they've done this to me today disgusting service and they wonder why people end up peeved when they eventually get through, frustrating beyond beleif!

Very rarely answer the phone. When they do, they are unhelpful. Get sent around in circles between the hospital and the Dr surgery chasing your own results. Told have to make appointment on patches. When go on patches, can book anything from impetigo treatment to facial hair removal but no option to actually tell anybody that you are struggling to breathe. Ridiculous and not fit for purpose. Cannot express how angry and frustrating the state of the NHS is.

56 phone calls over a four hour period either didn’t connect or engaged. Totally useless admin. Whoever is in charge should be sacked

Sadly one of a very few practices taking on new patients in the area. Impressive building and plenty of parking, but that’s where the good points stop. Incompetent staff and online system that doesn’t work. Was texted an appointment slot to see a Dr Davies via their online PATCHS system. Turned up to be told there was no booking made. Showed them the message I received, and “a technical error” meant the booking didn’t go to the system. A previous booking had done though, so obviously an incompetent staff error. Waited for 35 mins before going to reception who coincidentally had “just received a message from Dr Davies” that I will be seen ASAP. Ended up needing to reschedule for the following week. Poor all round

Visited last month to make appointment, was told had to make appointment online . I then suffered a 5 day anxiety attack as i cant use online as it triggers my anxiety. Visited today and was told i can make phone appointments. To the lady receptionist who caused my anxiety attack by lying to me , i hope you never suffer anxiety. You're a disgrace .

Whilst I believe they do need to iron out the appointment process and make it more open and human. I cannot fault at all the service I received from the staff and doctors here, I’ve never in my life seen a doctor who took the time to actually understand my ailment and make me feel like they actually care. Thank you

Really happy with Doctors at Warrens, yes there is a new e consult but they review them and call in priority of illness I think. They responded to concerns regarding my young daughter the same day and for my husbands query the day after e consult. Where needed they've offered physical examinations too so they are still open to these. We have a comparison with my mother in law in Liverpool who's GP surgery is awful - they can sometimes be a week before responding to an e consult and won't answer a telephone query about anything. If we could, we would move her to use our surgery we are so happy here.

I am so shocked reading some of the reviews. I have been with West Wirral for a very long time and have always had excellent experiences. From the doctors to the nurses and office staff they are so good and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you everyone for your efforts during this pandemic and well done

Very mixed opinions about this place. Getting to actually see a doctor always seems to be a problem. However went to have my flu jab today. The process was very fast and efficient and staff very friendly with a plesant atmosphere. So based on this give them 5 stars. If they could replicate this experinace in other areas of their service, it would be fantastic.

If I could put zero stars I would the reception staff are absolutely awful I was sent to clatterbridge for a couple of scans and was told to call in one week for the results by the specialist so I called this morning after waiting 45 minutes to get through the receptionist told me that she will book and appointment in for 4 weeks time as they don't have a legal obligation to see me before then I stressed that the specialist told me call today but no joy she said I am not a emergency case and that she will book me in for four weeks or not at all by the end of the conversation I was almost in tears I hope that she never has to go through anything like this and to be told that your health isn't important!

Not sure what the staff in this practice actually do, it's absolutely impossible to get an appointment as no one ever answers the phone. I think the staff in the centre should be ashamed at having such bad reviews from so many patients.

My daughter was recently taken ill, we contacted the surgery and she was seen that day. Her symptoms changed so we contacted surgery again, a phone consultation took place and a follow up appointment was made. The reception staff and the GP were wonderful. Thank you

I have just met the new Dr Grey, Dr Ojo was brilliant and when he completes his training in a few months I truly deeply wish with all my heart that he stays at our surgery, he listened he didn't rush me, he was patient and so lovely I don't want him to go, I want him to be my new go to Dr at the surgery! Please please keep him!

Rang for an appointment yesterday as I'm in severe back pain and can barely walk was told there was no appointments until 26 September if there are no appointments then why are the phone lines open I do not believe there are no appointments for 2 weeks

OK, took me 20 minutes to get through and book an appointment but that's the only negative. Telephone appointment sorted for the afternoon by friendly receptionist. Doctor equally friendly and zipped through questions efficiently. Bish bash bosh all done and dusted.

I have been at this doctors for years now even though I live quite far away from it, all doctors are great and thorough and all staff are lovely, Im literally in crisis today and have been for a few weeks, was not sure if I could even explain the severity of my situation so thought I may be fobbed off( not that I have been before) However the doctor was so understanding ,to my situation........, wouldnt go anywere else.

I have always had wonderful care from all the team, Doctors, Nurses and reception staff. During this pandemic i have needed to contact the surgery to request telephone consultation. I can honestly say i have had no trouble getting through to receptionists.
