Great, welcoming & very international! Attended the Online Masters Program from Vienna, Austria & I really could take a lot out for me. It was hard to be honest, as I had to run several startup companies simultaneously, but it's worth it 😃

One of the best university in the UK and globally. The rich history of the red brick is always carried forward. Love the way how the Uni take cares of the International students. The guild, societies, sports, uni halls everything is fun! I'd definitely recommend University of Liverpool. ❤️

Absolutely awful, student service support provides no help whatsoever, been signed out of canvas and it is impossible to log back in, as a result of having a different phone number. The lecturers are appalling, no effort is made to plan lectures, no professor engages a lecture theatre. They can’t even simply project their voice. The lectures are dull, boring and nothing is learned from any student, everyone simply stares blankly into empty space waiting to pass time whilst looking at their phones . With the 9k i have paid for the first year and begin to pay for my second year, I have had nothing in return, complete waste of money, the bare minimum would be to receive some information and help about them courses modules. The reputation of this uni has nothing to do with what the university offers, or teaches its students. It is entirely down to the students to work hard and discover any possible information they can collect from the small range of resources that are provided.

Such a lovely campus, although they have numerous. The staff and students I met there were incredibly kind and helpful. I also needed to visit the legal help and all the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were so helpful and I am immensely thankful to each & everyone of them.

Just terrible treatment of students during Covid. Lecturers making unilateral decisions on the nature / quality of online teaching which shouldn't be theirs to make - all to the detriment of students.

The first mistake you have made is picking the city of Liverpool, it's s city that has seen better days and the same with the university. I went there in 2006 to study Maths and the teaching was of a good standard but there is no student support. They are simply overwhelmed and have too many students to keep an eye on. I am from the South, privately educated and in a huge minority there as most are from the north and the Midlands, always getting chippy remarks from them. Lived in philarmonic court which needed a lot of repair and doing up. The only advantage is it's right in the centre of town so there are plenty of amenities around. There are better alternatives in that part of the world so give it a swerve

Very dirty campus, filthy toilets. Not enough chairs to sit and lack of covid compliance and enforcement of mask wearing amongst students. Having to walk everywhere to get to different buildings, absolutely shoddy campus with no sense of difference between what part is uni and what part isn’t.

It is a university good in research. The medical school in 2011 used the PBL teaching system which did not do a good job in equipping its student with sound and strong medical knowledge.

I worked happily in this then outstanding institution with great people at all levels. But with the present leadership past its sell by date it's been a downhill slide everywhere. If the chair of council reads this sort of thing perhaps he will face facts and look to the inevitable namely it will only get worse unless the issue is faced head on and there is a change of leadership at the highest level. Until then things will only get worse. Sad, very very sad!

Here on a conference & people couldn't be more friendly. The campus is so clean & beautifully kept (the bits I can see) easy to navigate. There are loads of places to grab a coffee and food with a Tescos, Costa, Starbucks, Cafè Nero, Greggs, local sarnie shops etc, etc. Short walk up a little, medium, huge hill depending on how lumpy it is where you live from the city centre. Easy walking distance from the Premier Inn on Hanover Street if you are coming for an open day at either Liverpool or John Moores Universities

University of Liverpool (UOL) known as the 'Uni Of' and the original 'Red Brick University' since 1884. Situated in the heart of the Knowledge Quarter close to the University Hospital Liverpool, the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. The Uni of plays a major part in the fabric of one of the most cosmopolitan, vibrant, exciting, and friendly cities in the UK. A city perfect for students.

I have just had contact with Justine Grixti in the research department and I am appalled at how I have just been spoken to. This person is extremely rude and disrespectful and I will be reporting her to her line manager.

As a parent...staff are not very helpful at all. Once your child goes in..thats it...they won't give you any info or help. Worst place ever. Real nightmare. Don't expect any assistance from staff

Very interesting, provided a tour bus . Students were very helpful on the open day, very clean & tidy

Would not recommend AT ALL! Provided incorrect information regarding the course which resulted in requiring me to attend sessions at 4am with other course members in other countries and all assignments being submitted by Fridays not Mondays as explained upon joining. A waste of time, stress and money on a course they stated was appropriate while running your own business but many other course members had given up full time roles as couldn't do both. When I raised concerns they didn't listen and weren't interested. They then chased me for a payment 9 months after I left and demanded instant payment.

Attended a family event run by the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool in partnership with the World Museum Liverpool. The event was really well organised and aimed at 5- 12 year olds. Our kids aged 8 & 6 found the learning stations very engaging and loved collecting stickers for a prize at the end. The grown ups also had an opportunity to take part, learn the science behind the stations and interact with the staff from all over the world that teach & learn at the University. Makes you wonder...what would life be like without Science & scientists! A big thank you to all the students & lecturers who gave up their time on a Saturday morning to run the event!!

Original Red Brick Building 🔥 University of Liverpool one of the best memories I have ever had in my life. Eventually coming to this city was not a bad call. Friends, people from different background different culture and different race/religion all under one roof as a city. Enjoy your college life you will get it back ever again if u wanna relive it I guess now is the time (don’t neglect studies as well 😅). 🏰🏢⛩️🕍🏛️🏤🏟️🏫🏘️🌇

Absolutely dreadful Don't care about students whatsoever, everything about my degree here was miserable. The quality of teaching is dismal and student support is so bad I'm actually convinced they're just 400 hamsters in a poorly fitting suit

Not a very good university for the humanities, especially for history which seems to be the most neglected major subject. Not much diversity of thought in the lecturers, and they pointlessly renamed the Gladstone Halls after a member of the Stalinist CPGB. Overall, not the best 2 years of my life.

👍 Quality of equipment and facilities is pretty incredible - quality of output is good too - a few stars already made - not as incredible though.
