πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great gym. No problems...nice people_staff and customers...place is well maintained..although the shower gel dispensers can be empty.. place is massive...the weights area does get a little crowded at peak times....but due to its vastness, you can do other things like punch bags, cardio machines..... People often mention pool, good, month, staff, room,

4* because it does a good enough job for the price. I pay Β£29 a month and you won't find any place with a pool, jacuzzi and steam for cheaper than that. Pros: - Fairly new equipment that is maintained to a good standard. - The equipment that is there will meet all of your needs. - Cheap compared to competitors. - Very friendly staff. - All classes are included. - Brightly lit and air-conditioned well. Cons: - The way the pool is cleaned is a bit nasty. Only noticed today. They use the pool water on the side and scrape it back into the pool. So the sides might look clean but the pool can be a little dirty until the filtration system deals with it. - Because of the good value, you do get some rougher characters. They don't bother you per say, but swear a lot and have a slightly intimidating presence. It doesn't bother me so much, but if someone had kids then it could be a problem. This is a small minority though. - You have to pay for the weighing machines. I've been in about 8 to 10 different gym franchises and this is the first where there is no free way to check your progress. Poor show. - The free weight area is on the smaller side, so at peak time your going to have to wait more than you might like. Alas this is a problem encountered in most gyms. - Only one private changing stall in men's changing and there is a sunbed machine that no one uses. It's a waste of space and takes up its own room. All in all it is a good gym and you can't really complain because of the value for money it offers. I would rate 5 stars, but the way they clean the pool has ruined it a bit for me. I'm still gonna use it, but that will always be in my mind. Earlier today one of the cleaners actually got into a bathing suit, jumped in the pool and started going round the edges with a tooth brush. It looked really unprofessional.

This is a very good gym, my only gripe with it, is that you have to sign up for a 12 month contract. If you lose your job, move address or have medical reasons you should have no problems getting out of the contract. You can do 3 months or 6 but they push the price upto Β£42-Β£52/month. What I like about the gym? It's alot more social than other gyms, the staff are alot nicer and talk to you. Other gyms I've been people just go in, work out and stay to themselves but maybe it's the way it's laid out you get alot of good conversations. For the price you get a pool, steam room. There are also tanning beds and canteen. There are some bad reviews on here but it's down to showers and toilets not being cleaned and the 12m contract. It's been fairly clean to me although I don't really see the showers get cleaned much they should be as people pee in shwerss. Take your own cleaning spray I say. I paid Β£20 for the first month and get two PT sessions but if I go enough times I get the Β£20 back. PT sessions are about Β£180/10x hour sessions.

Great gym. No problems...nice people_staff and customers...place is well maintained..although the shower gel dispensers can be empty.. place is massive...the weights area does get a little crowded at peak times....but due to its vastness, you can do other things like punch bags, cardio machines..machine weights..classes etc..steam room and jacuzzi are great. Pool gets a little chocka with kids' swim classes after 5pm. They just increased price by 3 squid per month...but am on a monthly rolling contract now (26 squids per month, was 23 squids per month last year with NHS discount)...and only need to give one months' notice to cancel...I cancelled years ago without issue...it's A really nice way to spend a cold wet afternoon in the gym and spa area 😎

I have been training in this gym for approx 10 years since it opened. It suits me as its only around the corner from where I live. All in all it’s a decent gym but I must say for years now the men’s toilets REAK of raw sewage, it is absolutely disgusting; after many idvisory tips to staff still nothing has been done. It’s like a bushy tucker trail just to enter the toilets.. absolutely vile!!!!! I will be terminating my membership if it is not dealt with very soon.

I'm changing my review for a better one(from 2 starts to 4) They have improved a few things: new red bracelets in the changing room, and wall clock. P.s.Dw extremely needs to get more dumbbells This is the main reason why some of people whom I know don't wanna join the gym.

The gym equipment is decent enough. However, only a handful of staff are polite and attentive. The steam room/pool area has rapidly been infested by potheads'.

Very clean gym, staff are very helpful...loving the swimming pool and spa facilities, however some of the weights and cardio machines are a bit dated. Need upgrading...overall I am enjoying this gym so far. I would recommend this gym to anyone

I joined after using three day pass. I have yet to use the gym and am waiting for two personal training sessions which I'm looking forward to found the staff to be really nice and especially the ladies in the gym they are very approachable. I have taken a twelve months pass and have every intention to reach my goal of weight loss. Everyone has to start somewhere and me I'm starting from the beginning. If you think you would like to join a gym I would say my first impression has been the kick up my behind I needed. Not as pretentious as I thought it would be. So far very pleased

Excellent Gym. A few teething problems initially but plenty of space to exercise and a good selection of machines and free weights. Fantastic pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. Steam room can sometimes be out of service but mostly operational. Very clean gym and cafe area. Pool is spotless. Always cleaners visible. Toilets can be a little messy but that's down to individuals. Cleaners always popping in and out the male changing rooms so the toilets dont stay unattended for long. Loads of parking. 90% of 100 all night long.

The pool is cold, the showers are boiling. I have been coming to this gym on a very occasional basis over the last 5 years and always mention that the showers are far too hot; I'm always told something will be done, but nothing ever is
