Since the upgrade: Ridiculously loud music and classes broadcast over tannoy so you cant hear you music on you headphones, I often got warnings on my apple watch to warn the music/tannoy is too loud (95db), constant broken equipment, massively overcrowded and full of angry posers, people with cameras on tripods filming you whilst your train and body shaming, full of grafters, fights between gangs, and the manager Jayne just laughs complaints off. All the old members and staff have left recently, new staff only last a few months its that bad. Whilst it looks nice, if you want to get your workout done in piece then this is not the place anymore.

Great gym at a very reasonable price, especially for all the kit is has! The staff are friendly, helpful and Adam and the group really work hard to great a boss atmosphere - this just makes coming to this gym an all round pleasure and a good place you want to train at.

It's easily the best gym kit in the area, hands down. Classes are a welcome change to the typical structure across other brands. Good Staff.

Awful customer service. I was sold a six month contract over the counter, two years later I’m still trying to get out of the contract. I’ve made two formal complaints both of which have been ignored. The only customer service staff I have spoken to have been aggressive and refuse to listen to my issues. The gym itself isn’t great, half the time 3/4 stair machines are out of use. Changing rooms smell and the gym staff aren’t friendly. I cannot recommend enough that you do not join this gym. Their contract and the way they lure people into it over the counter is borderline fraudulent and I’m surprised they’re still allowed to operate. In summary, don’t join this gym, it’s been one of the worst experiences of my life.

DO NOT JOIN Been a Member for the Gym for 3 Years and it was a good gym until they recently changed the Gym Workers (Staff). Absolutley rude to their Gym Members. Staff in the reception Racially profile you when you ask for somthing they just ignore as if you were a ghost, very disgusted, especially the Staff Member SAM. 😡😡

I wouldn’t even give this gym one star. If you want to keep your relationship, I wouldn’t advise letting your girlfriend or boyfriend attend this gym. The personal trainers have no morals, and if you don’t want them slipping into your partners DM’s or ruining a relationship I’d suggest you stay away!

This Gym is going down hill fast. 3 machines not working, one shower not working. The showers that are working not clean and the toilets really stink. First visit after some months off, now I have cancelled my membership.

In terms of gym equipment, it is excellent and definitely the best equipped gym that I've used with a clear layout. In addition to this, they have great side rooms for classes with wicked lighting that gets you pumped and decent changing rooms (bring a lock for the lockers). The staff are all really nice and they keep it so clean and tidy because lots of gym users don't put their weights, benches, kettle bells, etc away. The only downside is that there are a few egos in this gym that creates a tiny bit of an atmosphere. If you're there to just train, then you'll love it. Overall, it's a good gym, and I would definitely recommend it!

Modern well equipped gym which also has classes of various kinds.

I've gone to gyms in the past and never really stuck with them until this one. Gym is great and generally not much waiting time in between machines as there are so many and a great option. Staff are really friendly and the gym has a great atmosphere.

This is the best gym iv ever been in by far , and since lockdown the measures jane the manager and her staff have done an unbelievable job , they dont take a min they are constantly cleaning to make sure its clean and safe for us , personally i cant thank them enough for their help in answering questions an doing all they do for all us users , its places like this that makes the world seem normal if even for a little while , and they do it all with a smile , thanks guys👍👍...... Ok..Good gym for the price..some good kit if you know what you want to use Same stuff for the last 4 years ive been here ..could do with upgrading some outdated failing equipment I would however recommend to the owners of Sports Direct the following; Proper sanitizing of heavily used gym equipment And the showers these desperately need to be cleaned as they stink and fall way below expected hygiene standards

This is the new name for "sports direct" fitness clubs. The value for money in these clubs is superb!!! I was a general manager for fitness first and dont see how other clubs can compete. The staff are well trained. The clubs are clean and spacious .The equipment is state of the art new. The classes are abundant. This all for £8 a month. Superb!!!

Don't sign up manager rude they wont let you cancel and staff will tell you the wrong way to cancel just to get you to go away rather than deal with you. Trying to cancel my account on numerous occasions now being billed for months i clearly cant use or armt using plus my membership is suspended. Watch out dont sign up

Not a bad gym, although it does get very busy making it difficult to use some machines.

Gym very modern and some staff very helpful but membership wise like a pit bull with locked jaws. Originally understood to join for 6 months and told we could cancel any time after that. After 6 months both hubby and i tried to cancel today due to health reasons which will eventually clear up and we wanted to rejoin when we were sorted. Told need a doctors letter saying we couldn't go for 3 months to cancel AND had to pay for those 3 months or face extortionate financial penalties and the bailiffs. Under protest we will have to pay money as pensioners we can I'll afford. Hell will freeze over before I would recommend this place to anyone.

The first gym ive ever been to and i am really enjoying it. The people are lovely and the staff are great. Its a large gym as well so even if its busy it never feels packed. Loads of machines as well

Equipment is looking a bit tired and the whole place could probably do with a refresh. Saying that, it's always friendly with helpful staff & happy members. Oh & don't forget to enter your car reg when you're in the gym or you might get a fine.

Not provided with anything to clean down the machines with after use and always filthy. Fellas spitting on the floor is disgusting. Could be great but needs cleaner equipment

Great gym with very friendly and helpful staff. Girls toilets are always clean from my experience and great changing facilities. Good range of weights and resistance training equipment, just a couple pieces of equipment could do with a reconfigure. Space could maybe be utilised a bit better but on a whole, a practical and cost effective gym. Never overly busy so always manage to get a workout done in around an hour. Classes are popular, varied and very enjoyable with experienced and knowledgeable instructors.

Great gym,staff are all friendly. With covid going on the staff are always cleaning they used to before covid but they have upped it since I saw a staff member spraying all equipment this morning with disinfectant and they all wear visors.All in all it is a brilliant gym.

Cheap membership fees, but the contract is hell to get out of. I followed the contract to the letter to cancel, and they have been hell to deal with. I have no idea why gyms are running a policy of seriously screwing people around to end a gym membership. I will see them in court, most people wouldn't be so determined to not be screwed over and would just pay up. They are comitticom fraud, really. Plenty of other reviews have said the same thing.

IV been a member now for 12 months. I find all the staff friendly and helpful. The gym is clean n tidy. With lots of equipment. The instructors in the classes are really help to push you to achieve you're goals.

Pick the right time and it's a well equipped gym. Pick the wrong time and it's full of kids leaving weights around and playing on their phones.

Absolute scamming gym charged me soo much for not even going to the gym plus didnt get told it's a 6 months contract until I rang head office pull your socks up guys and be legit about it

I think it looks a good gym except I'm 15 and everyone is so judgemental and thinking I'm going to be messing around but I've got a goal that i want and need to achieve. I'm not there to just be on my phone I want to work hard not play around.

It's alright, staff are helpful, the equipment is pretty decent. Just the membership is ridiculous to get out of like other people have said.

90min sessions at the moment and even if you go at 8am you get kicked out at 9.30pm so need to amend the opening hours

I wanted to cancel my membership shortly after the end of the most recent lockdown in 2021. I contacted Everlast fitness and was told I could cancel my membership immediately by cancelling the direct debit with the bank as I was moving away from the area. I have since been hounded by them for a three months cancellation fee which has had administration fees added on top. Communications have been very unclear and the Everlast customer service team is very slow at responding to any communication. Thoroughly irritated, would never sign up for another service provided by this company again.

Absolutely discussed with the service was left waiting for 50 minute for our meal while peoe were coming in after us and being served would not go here again.

Excellent gym. Loads of free weights, resistance weights and hiit areas. Really clean and rarely a queue for anything. Also rarely anything out of order. Extra points for the punchbag 👌👌

Well spaced out place but not enough dumbbells, machines out of order for more than 3 months even tho I've complained! Some machines are still in use but in need of repair which render them quite dangerous to use! Usual national chain gym type set up, no atmosphere, terrible music played far too quietly

An ok range of equipment, some aren't great (lat pulldown machines) compared to other gyms. You've got no chance of getting on ham curls, quad extensions or pec fly machines whatever time you go, need to invest in an extra of each. Worst offense is blasting music so loud that you can't hear your own headphones.

Been coming to this gym for about 10 years. Gym is no longer offering a varied timetable for classes that suit working parents. Please put on more haymaker classes after 7pm,as hussle becomes very boring if its the only class on each week at this time.
