This is a great location and the staff are polite. However, we were a little surprised at just how tiny the private en suite room was - also that we booked a twin, but got bunk beds. A little odd, but I guess that kind of qualifies as a twin. The shower was broken - as in, physically partially detached from the wall - and there was a screw on the floor in the bathroom which my daughter stepped on, unable to see it because the floor itself was a mottled grey colour. Took the screw and photos of broken shower to reception at around 5:30pm - staff member was polite but offered no solutions or apologies; simply said we'd have to manage because maintenance had gone home for the night. I replied that I would not use the shower as it was, well, unusable. It gets very loud, especially in the evenings, and whilst the photos show lots of facilities, in actuality there is not much available to use. The room itself was basically tidy although the carpet was not very clean and if I'm honest, I'd book the YHA instead next time - I would have done so this time but they were fully booked. I feel quite disappointed with the stay overall but I guess you pay cheap, you get cheap. For somewhere to crash after a night out I'd say it's brilliant; it's close to everything, you can just roll in and pass out accordingly. But for anything else? Perhaps book elsewhere...this was a last resort booking to see Jack Whitehall as our previous hotel had let us down. Won't use again, but that's just because it didn't meet my needs or expectations. Judging by the reviews it has already, I'm in the minority so people should still give it a chance to judge for themselves.

Firstly there are some really nice parts about staying here, the cafe Love Thy Neighbour downstairs is adorable. Well priced and good portions 100% recommended, also what a brilliant location. Hatton Gardens is in a quieter part of town but a brilliant walking distance from all the good stuff. Also if you tell the cafe you're staying at the hotel they give you a cheeky discount. The room itself was cute looking at first glance but when you looked closer you could see it needed a couple of minor improvements and a fresh lick of paint, especially around the bed so I couldn't help but stare at all the dents, scratches and chipped paint. My biggest annoyance however was the ensuite. It's a bit of a joke to pay for an ensuite room, where the toilet doesn't flush very well and wake up and find the water freezing and having to either go without or hunt for the communal shower room, which when we complained we were told there was one on every floor. That's cool and all but if you wanted to share a bathroom you'd pay for it right? I don't think the complaint was handled very well and was kind of brushed off. As well as we weren't really told about the cool facilities in the hotel, just kinda stumbled across them looking for the shower eg laundry room a pool table and apparently a library! Could have been super cute budget place but kinda more for pics and nothing too impressive. Didn't feel worth it.

Had a group booked of 15, six months ago. Noticed online that you were temporarily closed so called up to ask what the issue was. My booking had been cancelled without telling me, no email or telephone call!! If I hadn't noticed, we would of all turned up and have nowhere to stay. Even with 3 weeks to go, there is now limited availability anywhere and will end up paying more. If they are willing to do this, who knows what else they will do, DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Stayed here in 2019, all the bad reviews made me a lil sad cause this place was great for the money - rooms not huge and yeah there's some noise but you are also paying a fraction of the price compared to other hotels?? If in doubt maybe bring some earplugs - however my single bed was comfy and my shower was hot, couldn't ask for more for the price.

PRO:Friendly and speedy check in. The lockers were huge which is a great benefit. The hygiene standards on first impression were satisfactory. The cafe/bar downstairs had a modern, contemporary vibe and the bar staff were very accommodating. CONS: A few people seemed to check into our dorm room at about 2am. I didn’t know this was permitted and it was a little disruptive. General chit chat can easily be heard from the stairways while in the dorm( I stayed on the first floor). The windows were not double glazed so noise from the street can easily be heard. The keycard that enabled room access kept needing to be rebooted. I was lucky that I was on the 1st floor and it was only a short walk back to the reception. This happened frequently with the others in my dorm room too. Overall, it’s a decent stay for the price you pay.

The room was nice and really clean. The room I stayed in had one of the curtains broken, so there was a lot of light inside the room during the night. The door of the room was also very noisy. The staff was very helpful and the location of the hotel is perfect! Overall I really recommend this hostel! It's an amazing price for what you get!

This is one of the better Hostels that I've stayed in. The hostel is fairly new and you can tell. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like the fact that there is a kitchen even though there's no stove. There are two microwaves and two small fridges. There is an elevator even though there are only three or four floors. The TV room has a smart TV with free access to Netflix and other streaming services. There is also a game room and a small gym. I thought the bed was very comfortable and they give you a fresh clean towel each day when the room is cleaned, like in a hotel.

There are a lot of little problems here. Lagging maintenance, the lift broke, small issues in the room. That’s to be expected with a budget hostel. My main issue was that there was absolutely no soundproofing in the rooms and I was woke up at midnight, 2 and 4 to drunk, noisy guests slamming doors and chatting loudly in the hallway. Super disappointing. Breakfast is very good though and staff are nice. Sadly, I have to said I wouldn’t stay here again.

Brilliant location, great value, lovely staff. For a hostel, the rooms are adequate and reasonably comfortable. Adjacent bistro serves up a mean veggie breakfast. When you book try and get breakfast included. An absolute bargain.

Stayed there in a private (double) room with private bathroom, in February. Room was small but highly clean, comfortable and incredibly warm (really appreciated that, as outside was raining and there were 2 degrees Celsius! Also the windows have good isolation, so no wind/air coming through the windows when sleeping (very important, as beds are next to the window!) Bathroom was a big surprise as everything was new and very very clean. Good quality mattresses, bed linen and towels. Would give 5 stars if staff was more efficient. Not rude or something but just head in the clouds 🙂 and not paying enough attention to the customers.

No soap in either of the two bathroom dispensers. No instructions for heater or sink plug, and they werent obvious types so spent the night in cold and with a "blocked" sink, unable to get a wash. On the plus side, the room was very trendy, clean, comfortable and at such a low price. Staff on main desk were very nice too.

Had such a lovely time here! Although the place had only been open a couple of days, the staff were knowledgeable and attentive and the drinks were lovely. Food looks pretty good although didn't have any ourselves. Would definitely return, if just for the ambiance!

The location was amazing and staff were friendly, but there was so much noise that you couldn't sleep. We stayed there for 3 nights, and I am not sure if we managed to sleep for more than 3 hours each night. I understand that this is not the fault of the hostel, but is still an integral part of the stay and neither my partner or myself would return here.
