Great place to take the kids! Plenty of room on sandy beach, sea is great for a paddle, you can walk far out and still only be at waist height. Free parking is a real bonus, plenty of it too. The only downside is lack of toilets, it's a bit of a walk to the nearest one and it closed at 4:30pm.

Wallasey beach is one of the best places to spend your day in Liverpool. It's so clean and neat, good for dogs walking and fishing. They have a few supermarkets and a lot of fun activities for kids, good music and sunny days, can make your day lovely here.

It is a good place for kids. Lots of free car parks are available. The kids can spend couple of hours playing sands and water. Then there are lots of restaurants nearby for dinner. If these don’t work on the kids, other kid playgrounds nearby can be chosen, e.g.

This place is dog heaven, we met a st Bernard called Elvis like what more do you want 🀣, great place really we didn't stay long but you have a beach and shopping right next to it and a little drive down you can see some warships being built, can't give a mega review but it's worth a good walk around, the sea is COOOLLLLDD my Mrs thought she would take a brave pill and dip her feet.....she came out with Eskimo shoes on .......ice blocks Wouldn't say it's a day out but nice to just drive out and be away for a few hours

Had a ride out with friend to beach with her dog , lovely walk , beach fairly clean , not crowded at all, dog enjoyed playing ball and chasing birds , went to see the old lighthouse too , was going to have lunch there but big queues for fish and chips , decided to drive up to New Brighton and have lunch there

Nice natural beach, wide with plenty of space. Great for paddling, however the whole beach is covered in broken shells so you have to be careful when walking or sitting. For sunbathing or walking along the beach I prefer Formby, but Wallasey is better if you want to go in the water.

Scenic coastline, Leasowe bay is fabulous endless sands, great coastal walks, uncrowded beaches just 5 minutes from New Brighton.

Absolutely lovely beach. Parking was easy and no parking costs. Highly recommend...even with the hot weather there was a lovely cool breeze..and watched the sunset over the ocean.

Great time with the family! If you want a little something to eat you can walk up the hill and head to harvester or grab a Mr Wippy Ice Cream from the van! For those with accessibility issues this beach has 5 - 7 wide and long steps.

Lovely place to walk the dogs. Fantastic views out to North Wales to the west and Liverpool to the east. Like anywhere can be busy at weekend but a mid week favourite for me and the doodles. Avoid the path at the top of the sea defence if you can. Can be busy with cyclists and joggers and it's only narrow.

The beach was just superb. I feel I got late to visit this beach even when I lived in Liverpool. We used to visit the crosby or the Formby ones. But a lretty beach witj lots of restuarants, light house and rides for kids were nearer to us. We realized it late. A must visit beach. Always remember to carry your kid's scooter, skating shoes or beach ball fir playing or castle moulds to play with kids on sand.

It is above average for England standarts but if you are going to come here for a swim, don't. The water is absolutely freezing and not enjoyable at all. But it is good for water sports.

Enormous beach when the tide is out! Walk along the sand or the sea wall, pity there aren't more cafes!

One can visit there but place is not that much worth visit, I mean people's choice may vary some will find it very fantastic other may not. In my opinion it's average.

This is my favourite place to go when I'm visiting Liverpool. It is clean and tidy. Plenty to do. Love it.

Food was expensive, beach dirty after storm, smelled like a fish as tonnes of seaweed were covering the shore. But the hottest weather & sea breeze has taken all worries away & overall we had a nice day out!

Lovely place to walk along the beach, dogs welcome on beach too. New Brighton sea front has a few nice eating places, and lots of seats on sea front. πŸ‘πŸ–οΈ

Had an amazing time here with the family and the kids. The beach was wide and not too busy, or empty. Clean and there were paddling pools for the kids to enjoy. Great place for families to visit and have a picnic.

Attended mini and milkshakes here, was a great day out with some lovely cars on display. A few photos of mine at the time are attached

Went there many times as a child! It seems timeless, as the sea is always moving, and the beach is excellent in Summer! The hill on the left past the Derby Pool I used to climb as a child. I call it Spoke Hill, because it used to have iron spokes at the top years ago!

Great dog walking beach with an excellent after walk pub

Free parking near the beach. The beach is beautiful. The beach is a wide stretch of sand. You can walk along the beach and feel that you would not come into contact with others as the beach is so wide The beach merges into other beaches. There is a circular walk/bike ride along the beaches on the wall. There are no toilets and places to have something to drink and eat along the beach except near the carpark where there is a harvester pub.

I was really disappointed. Considering it's meant to be dog friendly we couldn't find any shade at all to get out of the heat, there was one cafe we found near to the sea front but no parasols on any of the benches! The lack of toilets is an absolute joke and the only one we could find was at Morrisons which had a massive queue to use them. We drove from the Midlands, stayed about 45 minutes then came home because we were worried about our dog getting heatstroke. Hugely disappointed, wish we'd gone to Southport instead.

Our first time in wallasey, and a very nice place it was, free parking on the road, was a bonus, its very flat for walking, and if you have a electric scooter you will find this a nice place to visit, the beach is huge and dogs are welcome, a small fun fair, plenty of shops, and bars, plus a lovely chippy makes this place a lovely place to visit

Nice big beach with lots of sand. Tide was very far out when we were there so didn’t make it to the water but was very quiet and clean.
